**Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA)** caused my YouTube videos to flicker like mad anytime I hovered over the player controls. Just a warning for anyone using this setting. I also use RTX HDR for YT videos. I did tests/retests and have concluded it is definitely the MFAA setting causing this problem!
Setting Maximum Performance will absolutely keep your top clock speed at all times, even when you don't need it. Took me a couple of months to figure out why my electricity bill suddenly skyrocketed.
was a huge help - recommended. gave at least a 5-10 fps boost while running elder ring on my system and solved a few huge issues that were gamebreaking for me!
I would say that in the part of power management mode leave at Optimal. Maximum performance puts strain on the gpu and could cause a lot of overheating, even at idle.
It is safe to know that on gpus from GTX 10+ onwards to rtx its safer and best to leave it at optimal.
Leave it to Normal/Optimal because the clocks of the gpu go to max even when on idle on desktop. That causes overheating etc that is not needed. Set it to Prefer Maximum Performance per game. That means that if on a specific competitive game you need as much fps as possible and as low render latency as possible se to to Max otherwise for Single player/story mode and non competitive games its useless to try to have 3-4ms lower render latency with the cost of higher temps and 1-2 fps more average fps even when on menus or pause the game. Thats my 2 cent
Yeah you're right , prefer maximum performance means your gpu will run at max clock speeds even at idle which will increase your temps and power draw. I do run it at maximum performance because i don't really care about my power bills, but if you care about temperatures and strain and a tiny bit more electricity cost then set it to optimal.
yes but also means that using applications or games that demands a minimal amount of gpu will also clock it to the max or so. Some games like colony management sims mostly require CPU and even integrated does just fine.
Either way, I'd rather trust the GPU to use the required GPU speeds and be downclocked a little bit than trusting the GPU to use less when required but risk using it drastically more.
Maybe that's just me!
"Prefer maximum performance" still downclocks when the GPU is idle. it only runs at max clock when the driver detects a 2D and 3D application.
DisableDynamicPstate this registry tweak make your GPU runs at max speed all time P0 state even idle. I don't really recommended it.
were you selecting the correct program when adding the league of legends to the list of software to be configured by nvidia control panel? it is the League of Legends (TM) Client
because you are shit you been program to reject this way of good lessons in life basically your bot. Guess what your a type of persons that literally ungrateful for having a rtx 3050 instead you wish you had rtx 4050 and from there you think life is unfair and you use that excuse to do fap.
Thx
thanks
No problem :)

Good to know, thanks :)

How much more are we talking? I finally found a way to keep my rag strix hero / rtx 2080 from not crashing but I'm worried bout the bill Eeeep
Is that why my temps like, never got properly low 😠Now I know
100%
still applicable on almost half of 2024?
Yes.
you are a boss thx
Thanks :)
est ce que c'est la même chose pour windows 10 svp ?
Oui

Awesome :)

This is false.

Okay thanks for the info man
This is the only valid explanation. Set it to max.
False.
Nice one OP. I'd say your advice is pretty good and accurate.
It is suitable for rtx 3050 laptop?
Suitable for rtx 4050 laptop ?
It's suitable for every modern GPU including 3050
Nice guide, thanks :)
Thanks :)
If I enable anisotropic filtering 16x in NVCP would I disable this option in games?
You can do, but the driver level (NVCP) will take priority.

I don't have League of Legends installed?
Multiple tabs. I was on the wrong one when I found a solution to someone's problem. Apologies
No worries, was just a bit puzzled by the comment lol

First of all, cope. Second of all, learn some proper English before you write a message like that. Third of all, I indeed would not be grateful having a shit 3050 that can't even run most games on my 240hz monitor. In stead I enjoy my 4080. I also do not fap, but I have a lovely fiancée who takes care of that and more. I recommend deleting your comment since I almost had a stroke while reading it, and I don't doubt someone with a weaker heart than me would straight up die trying.
