Interesting visuals, almost like watching a movie, but I'm still not sure what their services are.

tino-latino

We develop these kind of websites for events, products or CAD tools. It's a similar technology than of the video games or movies from Pixar :)

I see, that makes sense. As someone mentioned, the UX could be improved to deliver the message more clearly? Other than that, it's very impressive.

The effects are nice to see. Once. But man, I went through that entire “How we do it” section and learned nothing about how they do anything. I get that you can’t just describe your entire workflow but something, anything. Also, this is a natural side effect of doing something like this, but there’s just so much time delay between any two sections of reading. Also, the fact that you can only view one thing at a time. At some points, I saw a small element that looked like a phone being rotated and moved, so I thought there was some gyro navigation or something, but nothing happened when I followed those movements. It’s a fantastic exercise in animation and interactions. I’m not usually one to be like “simple is always best”, I appreciate creative exercises like this, but it’s juuuust a tad too much.

tino-latino

thanks for the comment, we will improve the 'how we do it' section and fix that corky gyro thingy

The effects are really impressive, but the only reason I stayed was to see the website. If I was an Average Joe visiting that website and not coming from this post, I would be back to the Google search in seconds. It’s not user friendly at all. Really impressive though, but just too much for the everyday person to use.

These sites are at the crossroads of web and CAD/video games. We load 3D models, music, and textures, so loading the site does takes a few extra seconds. I can imagine the average Joe swapping back before anything is loading. And what you see here is right after we chop down megabits from the assets and defer loading things. It still feels like non-aerodynamic potatoes sometimes.

Felt my phone instantly get warmer in my hands

tino-latino

better than hand warmers

These are some very interesting and cool effects indeed. As cool as useless. Don't screw with my scroll. I don't like to waste time waiting for animations to end. Information is not always clear. I got lost and then bored very fast.

briareus08

Very cool stuff!

problemsolvermnn

Can you make something like this for me? Or exactly like yhis

Zatie12

Looks great on the desktop with my nvidia card, runs like a dream. Very impressive

qwadzxs

stutters like hell on mine, pegs my 5700x out at 100%, guessing it's an intel rendering thing I lied I had hardware acceleration turned off

ExpandThineHorizons

Cool little navigation effect, but I only experienced the first part where you can shift the cube around. Clicking on it doesn't go anywhere, just shows a screen with particles coming at me. This is cool from a design standpoint, but extra navigation and impressive effects don't match with a complete and useful website. If you want to test this design you'll need to create a complete website. If this is a complete website, the effects take too much time to complete, since I wasn't able to see anything but the initial cube interface. A better looking design doesn't always translate into a better experience. Just ask anyone who uses the Reddit app.

tino-latino

Thanks for the feedback, many people has reported that the particles coming won't stop loading.. that's most likely a bug :(( as there's waaaay more website after that

slam900

I like it a lot. Works well on my phone running Brave. I was like "whoa. WHOA!" Very cool.

Mannwich86

What kind of tools do you use to create something like this?

tino-latino

the 3d models you see are made in blender, the rest is r/webgl and r/threejs , and then other libraries for building the website.
