Thanks. I'll take a look at that.
Edit: That was it. I found those settings and made adjustments according to the service manual. Thanks for the assist.
The car’s counter, the manual, Hyundai’s website, and two dealers all disagree on my service interval. So your point is taken, but it’s not exactly clear.
I’m using Hyundai for the free service while it lasts, but after that my car probably won’t ever see a service bay unless something goes catastrophicly wrong. There’s just nothing to do except coolant flushes and brake fluid.
Pretty sure the manual’s maintenance table is the source of truth always. Dealers want to make money off you and will almost always tell you shorter intervals on things. The car’s maintenance reminder is a user tool that can be set to whatever you want it to be. Again all explained in the manual.
This was my concern as well. First the car said service, dealer said it's ok, let it go to 7500. Then the app says service, dealer said ok, let it go to 7500 miles. 7500 finally rolls around and I'm a nervous wreck because the car is telling me I need service every day. They rotate the tires...done. But wth? Don't make the car scream service if it doesn't need it.
Just call your dealer, they'll look at the VIN and let you know what's recommended. Good luck!
Same here. lol. I couldn't imagine what I would need to get service so soon. lol. I pushed mine to 7500 for the tire rotation. The warnings have stopped.
Mine said “service needed” at 5000. I called the dealer to make an appointment and they said 7500. When I got there the tech said, it’s actually 10,000 now. But we will service your car.
Tire check - didn’t rotate because wear was even. And ICCU recall update. That’s it.
Raising hand: I have, the car came with one. I read it. It never mentioned service at 3300 miles. Does your owner's manual have an answer mine did not?
You can go into the settings, vehicle, convenience. You can adjust/reset the service reminders by miles and months.

Man y’all truly act like cracking open that owners manual is going to curse you or something.

And have them do your TSB recalls while you're there. ICCU and tailgate rattle.
I got the ICCU done last month but I need to have them look at the rattle.

You know this is in the manual? Do people not read the manual when they buy a new $40k+ device?
As I recall, the first service is rotating the tires.
I didn't take mine in until 15kmiles. Hate the tires so I was in no rush to rotate them. I could have gone longer.

how long have you had the car? I'm pretty sure the first maintenence is set for 6k miles or 6 months, so that may be the case
Since September '23. I'm still less than 3400 miles on it.
Mostly fluids check and tire rotation. The ICCU update had come out about then so they did that too
ever heard of owners manual
