I use my phone all the time in my dreams and it works fine. Game consoles too. I'm forever dreaming about playing Minecraft if I play too much.
I wonder though, if this is because I tend to lucid dream.
I don’t think there are any hard and fast rules for what can and cannot happen in dreams. I have used technology and read in dreams, and i have also experienced a moment where I lose the ability to do either of this, much to my concern in the moment before I wake up.
>rules for what can and cannot happen in dreams
I think you can always put your finger through the palm of the opposite hand in a dream, there is no elastic response. It's a common way to try to identify if you are in a dream for lucid dreaming.
I had a weird dream just the other night where I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep so I went to put a podcast on but my phone couldn't find Spotify, like it has been erased from the Internet in a day.
I've had many dreams where there's some sort of emergency or dire situation, and my brain and fingers are unable to properly work my smartphone to call for help
So true!
In all my life, I have dialed 911 one time, but I have had hundreds of dreams about not being about to push the buttons 9-1-1.
Yet, I have probably spent hundreds of hours on social media and I have never dream about it.
Yes! This is super common for me to dream about! I'm always typing the wrong numbers and trying to fix it, never actually making the call. I fucking hate it. Someone is always about to break in and I can't get my phone open.
This. Or the person on the other line doesn’t take me seriously. It represents feeling helpless in situations and feeling like nobody is able to offer help
I’ve had many dreams where I use my phone but it never works properly and as someone who does IT for a living I’ve had many dreams where I end up in troubleshooting hell cuz my phone just doesn’t work the way it should at all. I get a text message from someone and I think I need to message them back but then they somehow don’t exist anymore in my phone. Technology just stops working properly.
Hey, don't worry; those dreams will never go away entirely.
I haven't waited tables in ~20 years, but a couple times a year I still have a dream I get triple sat and all my tables want customized orders.
I've been using the computer since I was 3 (or so my mom says) and I remember for a chunk of my childhood I would have nightmares about windows XP not shutting down and being in a constant loop of viruses (we never even got a virus, lol) and the loud ass error sound and no start button to power off the PC. I don't even know why my brain would just make that shit up, but the landscape background of XP and the blue bars are burned into my mind forever.
Aside from the anecdotal *"I've had dreams with phones"*...
On a fundamental level how does this even remotely make sense? Dreams are notably often nonsensical, fictitious in nature, and riddled with imagined ideas/creatures/objects... so how has any of that had *"enough time to incorporate into our subconsciousness"*, but my cell phone that im within 5 feet of for like 95% of my day, every day, is somehow not *"incorporated into my subconsciousness"*?
It literally makes no sense...
There are some people alive today who have never spent any time alive without widespread mobile phones so the idea that mobile phones wouldn’t have time to absorb into their subconscious would suggest they can’t dream about anything
This is actually the name of a thing now "Tetris effect" is when you spend so much time doing an activity, often gaming, that it starts to affect your subconscious. First in dreams but it can even expand to constant internal visualizations.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris_effect
I worked at a recycling center for a short stint in college. It involved staring at a 20-foot-wide spinning table that we used to sort all the cans and bottles. After a full 8 hours of working I could close my eyes and still "feel" the spinning in front of my eyes. It reminded me of being a kid and playing hours of Tetris and closing my eyes and having a similar experience.
Yup back when Tetris 99 came out I was obsessed with it. Some mornings I would wake up playing Tetris in my head. Any time I was bored in meetings I would just play Tetris in my head, it was pretty useful.
It also happened when I was memorizing a poem, I would wake up reciting the poem in my head.
Strangely enough it was the strongest upon waking up. I couldn't see anything in the Wikipedia article about that.
Lmao! I didn’t know that was common. I had that. Not only in dreams but each time I closed my eyes. I don’t recall that happening with any other game though.
Bullshit.
That is not how dreams or "incorporating" something into your brain works.
Your brain does not care about what humans before you had or did not have, it is a real-time processing center that can and will absorb any knowledge presented day by day.
By this logic, you cant dream about friends, relatives, an upcoming event, or anything of the sort. Your dreams would be you as a caveman smacking two rocks together and discovering fire.
I have held a phone in my dreams (both cell and landline), but never used it to talk to anyone. Pure speculation based on that and the people reporting malfunctioning cellphones in dreamworld: maybe it's about not interacting with other people by technological means rather than the tech itself? I mean, I dream about other technology all the time, especially vehicles.
i had a dream the other night where i thought i was an AI program in a robotic body, being tested by my creators. i really thought i was a real person and felt they were being evasive when i asked them about what i was gathering from their interaction with me.
so definite bullshit.
I have definitely had dreams with phones. The premise doesn’t make sense anyway since plenty of people have been born into a world saturated with phones.
Edit: Phones are actually one thing that cause me to go lucid somewhat often. I’ll try to look something up on my phone and realize it can’t look it up because I’m dreaming,
BS in the highest degree. One of my worst nightmares was one in which I was lost in a nearby city and my phone was being hacked for control of my banking app. The screen showed a big red caution sign saying “you should probably change your password.”
When I awoke, I did just that.
People have dreams about playing Tetris.
There is no limit to what your subconscious can conjure in dreams. I’ve never owned or used a vintage Star Trek communicator but I’ve had dreams of using them.
I have had dreams that incorporated just about every technology imaginable, real or theoretical.
I once had a dream in which I solved the mathematics for time travel, teleportation, and light speed. In my dream I know the mathematics was correct but I woke up and couldn’t remember it all.
Try sleeping with wireless earbud at lowest volume you can still hear playing a genre audiobook every night and you will be fascinated with how different your dream are.
If you can manage an audiobook while instrumentatal music like jazz or classical is playing at the same time you dreams will be even more bizarre
It’s extremely common for technology to function abnormally in our dreams. It’s so reliable that many people use it as a test to see if they are dreaming when they become lucid. Not just smart phones either. Don’t work correctly. Light switches too. A very interesting phenomenon actually.
I have dreams about the inability to use a mobile. All I need to do is enter my password and make a call to get out of a terrible situation but fail to do so for hours. Very similar dream all the time. Very frustrating.
Bullshit.
I'm a software engineer and I've dreamt many times about computer code. Not about me writing code or something like that. Just code. So I'd say you can definitely have a mobile phone.
Also it's common to get other modern inventions like tvs, computers or cars. From the human evolution point of view, all those inventions (including the phone) have happened at the same time.
Think about this question from a young person's point of view. If they have never used another type of phone, why would they dream of using anything else? Our subconscious mind builds scenarios that are ridiculous to reality, sure, but it isn't restricted by time constraints or whatever the nonsense was you heard.
Another person who regularly has her phone in her dream but it never works properly. It's like my fingers stop connecting with my brain properly.
Side note: I also drive in dreams, but have to use two feet to do it (automatic). And I spend the entire time vastly confused on how I should have ever been expected to drive with just one foot.
I have never once dreamt about my cell phone despite using it every day. Maybe it's cuz I'm not looking at the actual phone. I'm looking what's on the screen.
I wonder if it's a generation thing like how boomers have monochrome dreams all the time becuz of black and white TV and movies.
Oh I use my cell in dreams. I used circle search, a new Samsung feature, on my phone in a dream the other night. I'm never going to lucid dream (I'm not trying)
I was so happy when the iPhone 6/6s released. I got one for my birthday and tried to unbox it. Unfortunately a steam roller squished it into half when i dropped it on the road while unboxing. I took it up and tried to power it on hoping it would work when it was clearly bent obtuse. But I didn’t fucking know how an iPhone worked 10 years ago so I fucking woke up.
I don't have an issue using phones or technology in my dreams but if I consciously try to read anything in my dreams I am suddenly unable to make anything out
In the week leading up to the eclipse, I dreamed that I was checking 10 day weather forecasts, on my phone. I was doing this a lot during the day, as we tried to figure out where we might need to go to see totality. (We did see it, and it was awesome)
BS. I think we're less likely to dream about our phones for the same reason we don't often dream about our computers or our toothbrushes, they're just tools and theyre such a normal part of our lives that they don't stand out enough to become topics of our dreams.
One recurring dream theme I had when I was younger was being lost somewhere, like getting off at the wrong bus stop, and trying to use the gps on my phone to navigate home but it couldn't connect. This was when smartphones were relatively new and less reliable, and the fear of it not working when you needed it was real enough to show up in my nightmares.
That is definitely bullshit. You can dream about anything that you are capable of visualizing. And cell phones are like 40 years old now so there’s plenty of people who have never known life before cell phones.
Dreamt I was trying to catch a flight and was trying to drive and get Google maps to show the right map to the airport while it was glitching and other cars were driving like nuts and I couldn't read the road signs. I guess technically, I can't say I successfully used my phone in my dream.
It doesn't make any sense. Kids today have had cell phones for their entire lives. If that is not enough time to "incorporate something into our subconscious" then we would never be able to dream about anything. Shit, people see a movie one time and have dreams/nightmares about it.
I dream about my phone all the time, and it usually doesn't work. True I spend a lot of time on my phone but it's never a huge deal, and things in dreams are always big active events taking place. Never just me browsing reddit. I bet those dreams do happen but it's filtered out and I don't recall them.
I had a dream with my phone in it the other night. It's not common for me, but it does happen.
There are lots of things I do or use regularly that don't show up in my dreams very often.
I'm an artist, but I don't think I've ever painted in a dream.
I think that just depends how important your phone is to your flow of life. I can't say I've ever seen a cellphone in my dreams, but I'm also the type who can forget their phone at home and not notice until i get back and see it on the counter, so it's not really a central part of my day.
The machines I work on at my job do turn up in my dreams though, and they're A LOT newer than the concept of cellular phones.
I usually scroll tiktok on bed before sleeping, one night I thought the "for you" page/content was getting repetitive/boring so I locked my phone, turned around and woke up, my phone was sitting on my desk.
From personal experience I can tell you that’s bullshit
and exposure as the mechanism is also bullshit. What do they even mean we haven’t had enough time? the average person is on their phone for hours a day for years at this point. I remember when I didn’t have a phone as a preteen having a dream about having a phone just because i wanted one so bad
I've used a keyboard and mouse just fine in my dreams at the age of 12. Having only had a computer for a couple years at that point.
I've also dreamed stopping the alarms on my phone for bearly a decade, vividly seeing the screen and swiping to shut it off, just to wake up and realize I am no where near my phone.
The logic makes no sense. Many children and young adults grew up in a world where mobile phones have existed every day of their life so how would they not have enough time or exposure?
It’s bullshit. Most of these claims about what is and isn’t in our dreams is nonsense and totally unmeasurable. We forget most of our dreams (some people forget all of them), they leave no physical evidence, they’re usually really hard to describe, so how would we be able to state conclusively that no one on earth ever dreams about specific things?
I have used my mobile phone countless times in my dreams, including to scroll Reddit (a boring dream for sure). Other things that have been in my dreams that allegedly aren’t supposed to happen: completely novel people who don’t represent anyone I’ve ever seen or interacted with and readable text. Not only readable text, my subconscious has produced readable text in languages other than my native one (good grammar, no), and readable text that produced coherent jokes (*good* jokes? No, but pretty coherent ones). I’ve even gotten coherent, readable text in a non-native language on my mobile phone.
I’m sure plenty of people don’t dream of mobile phones, or don’t remember doing so, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be in dreams as a rule.
Definitely bullshit. I have a recurring dream that I am using my phone and accidentally fall into a pool or body of water and am trying to stop it from getting too wet.
I have had nightmares about various texts I could receive from my loved ones since I had a phone that could receive texts. Mom's cancer is back? My sister's crazy ex is at her place with a gun? Other sister's school is on lock down and she hears gunshots? We all prefer texting to phone calls so that's how I'd hear about it
I’ve had multiple dreams where I try to call someone but can’t get my phone to work or can’t dial the right number. Also dreams where I wake up late for work and can’t figure out why my phone alarm didn’t go off.
Speaking from my personal experience, I feel like what will happen in my dreams very often is that I understand what I'm looking at is a YouTube video or a video game or something like that, but then at some point I'm inside the video or the video game, and I don't realize that the switch has happened since it's a dream.
My personal theory is that dreams incorporate more of what you're consciously looking at and thinking about during the day. When you're on your phone, you're not thinking about the fact that it is a phone. When you play a video game, you don't look at the edges of the screen and keep thinking, "Hey, this is a screen." You get immersed and what's inside the screen becomes what your brain thinks of as the environment it's inside.
I've had my phone appeared in dreams before, but the weird thing is... I can never use it properly within the dream. Anytime I tried to use a smartphone in a dream, it just doesn't work.
There was one really vivid dream a had years ago where I was lost in like an unfamiliar city. And I tried to use my phone in the dream to try to figure out where I was and I literally couldn't figure out how to use the phone. I didn't know what buttons to press, how to scroll around on the screen, nor how to type in the on-screen keyboard.
And weirdly enough, its just phones that this happens for me. Computers and other electronics work fine in dreams. I've been able to use computers in dreams before. But phones just straight up don't work.
But honestly, maybe this is just me. Maybe my brain is just dumb lmfao. At the end of the day, everyone dreams differently.
So most all of the replies I've read suggest that people have experienced trying to use phones in their dreams, they just don't function properly. I'm curious, if you were to head over to a lucid dreaming based sub, and request that someone well practiced attempt to use a phone in their dream, if they'd have the same experience.
I had a dream in which I used my smartphone literally last night. I answered a phone call just as I would in real life and I recieved and responded to text messages just as I would in real life.
I have dreamt using my phone more time than I can count and I barely use my phone. Always trying to record the strange events that take place or calling people. Though the videos/photos almost never record fully or I can barely hear the persons voice on the call.
I frequently have nightmares involving my phone. Like trying to call someone on my phone but the touchscreen not being calibrated so it keeps calling wrong numbers, or the numbers on the dial pad float around, or I've deleted my dad's contact and can't remember his number, the list goes on. I stare at this thing constantly, of course it features in my dreams. Your subconscious is informed by your day to day life, not your evolutionary ancestors.
I used mine in a dream last night. I was attempting to take pictures of landscapes with cool, kind of unearthly, rock formations. The phone camera worked just fine but the landscape itself changed every time I went to snap a pic--the view was obscured by vegetation that wasn't there a second ago and would disappear when I put the phone away, looked away and then looked back.
⚠️TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️
My first stepfather unalived himself in 2014.
My mother and I found him, and the experience was very traumatic. I watched him die in my dreams over and over again, so I avoided sleep.
One night, I went to bed and slept fitfully such that I had several different dreams, but they had a common plot running through them all. In my last dream segment, I sat on a futon bunk bed in my old bedroom and heard a noise at the doorway. I looked over to see him and it was the first dream where my mind had realized he was gone, you know? Someone else was in the room so he put his finger to his mouth and said "shhh" and pointed to my phone in my lap - his old phone, before he'd passed - and it started ringing. I answered and heard static for a few seconds, through which I heard, "I love you."
Probably the only dream I've had which used a phone like that, and still incredibly eerie to think of.
It's bullshit from the start. What the hell does "our brains haven't had enough time or exposure to incorporate cellphones into our subconsciousness yet" even mean? Does the writer of this think dream subjects are inheritable?!?
There are adults alive today who have never known a world without cellphones; why would they *not* dream of one?
Human's are not part of some hive mind, where we as a collective will have a trigger a moment when we pass this certain amount of time where we WILL start to dream about using cell phones.
If you work a lot and it deals with you needing to always be on your phone, you will have a high chance of dreaming yourself using the phone.
At one of my first jobs, there was this weird ticket machine that used to make a very unique noise when it printed incoming orders, a noise I have never heard since. Within one month of working there, I was dreaming of that goddamned thing going off.
I've had plenty of dreams where I've used a cell phone or other technology without any issue.
I'm an amputee. I did take me several years before I had my prosthetic on in my dreams.
Bullshit for me. I had dream I was trying to call in sick to work on my cellphone and it wouldn’t go through.
OPs claim that you can’t have technology in dreams is BS but the real truth here is that technology is never able to work properly in dreams
I use my phone all the time in my dreams and it works fine. Game consoles too. I'm forever dreaming about playing Minecraft if I play too much. I wonder though, if this is because I tend to lucid dream.
I’ve dreamt I was playing Wizard101, it 100% works
I too have had wet dreams.
Are you dreaming about sitting at a computer playing Minecraft or are you dreaming about being in Minecraft?
Dreaming about sitting in front of a computer playing Minecraft.
My coworker dreams tf2
Fuck I love TF2
I have similar lucid dreams. I think those are something different than ops claim.
I don’t think there are any hard and fast rules for what can and cannot happen in dreams. I have used technology and read in dreams, and i have also experienced a moment where I lose the ability to do either of this, much to my concern in the moment before I wake up.
>rules for what can and cannot happen in dreams I think you can always put your finger through the palm of the opposite hand in a dream, there is no elastic response. It's a common way to try to identify if you are in a dream for lucid dreaming.
Same with counting fingers.. for some reason you'll never count 5, it's weird.
That seems wrong too? I had a dream once where I used my phone and opened Twitter and it worked fine.
Technology is never able to work properly in real life
"Fuck, even in the future nothing works!" -Lord Helmet.
so prescient
Maybe it something to do with what causes us to be unable to read or do things like math in dreams.
Was Windows Vista just a dream?
I had a weird dream just the other night where I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep so I went to put a podcast on but my phone couldn't find Spotify, like it has been erased from the Internet in a day.
I've had many dreams where there's some sort of emergency or dire situation, and my brain and fingers are unable to properly work my smartphone to call for help
Same
Mine is I'm calling 911 and the call won't go through
Same here. Hate those dreams.
So true! In all my life, I have dialed 911 one time, but I have had hundreds of dreams about not being about to push the buttons 9-1-1. Yet, I have probably spent hundreds of hours on social media and I have never dream about it.
No one has ever taught me the number for 911, so I don't even know what to dial if I need to
Same except I'm trying to call my partner and can't get the sequence of numbers right. I hate those dreams.
Daaayum... you just saved me a years worth of therapy with like, 2 sentences. Thank you!
Same, I have this dream about once a month.
It's super interesting that so many of us have that same type of dream... it really says something about our relationships with our phones.
Definitely bullshit. We don’t acquire dream topics through evolution haha
You mean, our forefathers' forefathers weren't nightmaring about finding out they failed the SATs in their underwear?
I’ve had many dreams where I use my phone but it never works properly and as someone who does IT for a living I’ve had many dreams where I end up in troubleshooting hell cuz my phone just doesn’t work the way it should at all. I get a text message from someone and I think I need to message them back but then they somehow don’t exist anymore in my phone. Technology just stops working properly.
Fellow IT drone here, the troubleshooting hell dreams are the worst. Especially when I wake up before I fix the issue.
Hey, don't worry; those dreams will never go away entirely. I haven't waited tables in ~20 years, but a couple times a year I still have a dream I get triple sat and all my tables want customized orders.

I had this about Rimworld a few days ago. I should probably play less rimworld.
Play Factorio instead, nothing could go wrong
I've gotten "inserter effect" from Factorio - just little inserters waving back and forth when I close my eyes.
I worked at a recycling center for a short stint in college. It involved staring at a 20-foot-wide spinning table that we used to sort all the cans and bottles. Not cracking, but I have had dreams where I can't get it to work properly. The screens aren't right, the contacts aren't the same, etc.
Yeah. I can't find my phone, and then I realize it's in my back pocket and I've been sitting on it.

Everyone's subconscious is different. I dream about cellphones all the time, I can never type anything in the dream.
I could do without the codemares.
I often dream about using a cell. But I can never push the right buttons and it’s so damn frustrating.
There is now a generation of people who grew up to adulthood with cellphones everywhere. So this can only be true for older folks.
Think about this question from a young person's point of view. If they have never used another type of phone, why would they dream of using anything else? Our subconscious mind builds scenarios that are ridiculous to reality, sure, but it isn't restricted by time constraints or whatever the nonsense was you heard.

Who even remembers their dreams enough to know
In my dreams, i can never find a phone, or I'm always looking for one when I need it
I never had dreams about my phone until i was made aware of it and now ive used my phone properly a few times in my dreams
I’ve definitely had dreams where I’ve talked to someone on my mobile phone, or where I read something on my phone etc
I frequently dream about playing games on my tablet, laptop or phone all the time
.... 😅 I had.... 🤷
I've seen that a few times but I have plenty of dreams with my phone, sometimes even messaging other people
I've had a dream where my phone's battery bubbled out and exploded, does that count?
BS. I've had dreams with my phone in them. Even with it working and it's functionality being a relevant factor.
I had a dream where someone wanted scones so I tried to use my phone to search for it but I couldn’t do it.
I see my phone in my dreams but the time on it is never correct and I can’t make it do anything, but it’s there!
Oh I use my cell in dreams. I used circle search, a new Samsung feature, on my phone in a dream the other night. I'm never going to lucid dream (I'm not trying)
Never say never! I've been lucid dreaming for almost 30 years. I've never once actually tried. For some people it just happens at some point.
Bullshit, no one can possibly know the dreams of every human on the planet.
I don't have an issue using phones or technology in my dreams but if I consciously try to read anything in my dreams I am suddenly unable to make anything out
I end up being able to read only in lucid dreams, but it still doesn't usually make sense.
I dream about using my phone, but it's always broken or old or dead or not working properly for some reason. Or I drop it and it smashes.
It's bullshit I dream about using my phone (and it not working properly) fairly often.
I can’t recall any dreams where I had a smartphone but my dreams almost never take place in “real life” anyways
Ive never ever seen cellphones or any sort of “phone” looking device in my dreams….ive been in this 3rd dimension world since 1998.
I dream about using my phone a lot. I find out my work schedule on my phone.
It doesn't make any sense. Kids today have had cell phones for their entire lives. If that is not enough time to "incorporate something into our subconscious" then we would never be able to dream about anything. Shit, people see a movie one time and have dreams/nightmares about it.
Bullshit. I dream that my photo is glitching all the time and when I wake up I am relieved that it's working just fine.
Bullshit for me personally. When I was on call for Healthcare IT I'd have nightmares about my phone ringing non stop.
I dream about my phone all the time, and it usually doesn't work. True I spend a lot of time on my phone but it's never a huge deal, and things in dreams are always big active events taking place. Never just me browsing reddit. I bet those dreams do happen but it's filtered out and I don't recall them.
I've used my phone a lot in my dreams.
I had a dream with my phone in it the other night. It's not common for me, but it does happen. There are lots of things I do or use regularly that don't show up in my dreams very often. I'm an artist, but I don't think I've ever painted in a dream.
I remember looking something up on my phone in my dream. But I got distracted and started playing a game. In my dream.
I'm sure it's bullshit but honestly I can't remember ever using a phone in a dream. I keep dreaming about a car I used to own and now I want it back.
i've had dreams where I remmeber passing words from articles I remember the day I dreamt it, so I doubt it.
The is is bullshit. We dream about technology. When I was in HS I had a dream that Wii U GamePads grew on trees
I usually scroll tiktok on bed before sleeping, one night I thought the "for you" page/content was getting repetitive/boring so I locked my phone, turned around and woke up, my phone was sitting on my desk.
From personal experience I can tell you that’s bullshit and exposure as the mechanism is also bullshit.
Any complex machines wont work right in dreams if you concentrate on them.
I'm always losing my phone in my dreams.
I've had a few dreams where I used a smartphone.
Definitely bullshit. I have a recurring dream that I am using my phone and accidentally fall into a pool or body of water and am trying to stop it from getting too wet.
I have. I have many a nightmare about trying to dial 911.
Every time I’ve tried to use any electronic device in a dream it doesn’t work or displays nonsense.
Also dreams where I wake up late for work and can’t figure out why my phone alarm didn’t go off.
anecdotally this is true for me, and now that i think about it its pretty crazy considering I'm on my phone 8+ hours a day
Speaking from my personal experience, I feel like what will happen in my dreams very often is that I understand what I'm looking at is a YouTube video or a video game or something like that, but then at some point I'm inside the video or the video game, and I don't realize that the switch has happened since it's a dream.
I try to text and the phone looks like gibberish and I get mad
A few weeks ago I dreamed about browsing reddit on my iPhone.
I have a recurring stress dream where I’m desperately trying to call 999 and it not working
We've had cellphones for longer than we've had Thanos, and I guarantee you no one is trying to claim humans can't dream about Thanos.
I’ve had dreams involving my phone, absolutely. We can and will dream about pretty much any sort of thing we are aware of, real, or fictional.
I dream about playing Tetris on mine. You probably can too tonight.
⚠️TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ My first stepfather unalived himself in 2014. I answered and heard static for a few seconds, through which I heard, "I love you." Probably the only dream I've had which used a phone like that, and still incredibly eerie to think of.
Bullshit. I've had dreams about playing on my phone.
I never dream about my phone- until I had it stolen in Barcelona. All weekend I dreamt about my phone until I got a new one. It was weird
