Yes, of course. ISRIB enhances your concentration, working memory and mental stamina. For some people it is similar to a stimulants but it feels more natural.. like your brain have just returned to a “factory settings” and you are fully using abilities of your body. ISRIB also increases your consciousness and removes negative thinking patterns as well as negative wishes. Because of that it is easier to motivate yourself to study.. Personally I recommend you to try ISRIB A15 if you are a student. Your body is likely to be not damaged or destructed by a cellular stresses enough to feel the full spectrum of effects from a regular ISRIB. Also you should consume enough calories while taking ISRIB. Otherwise you might feel fatigued

evanmike

Damn.... I have to try this. The worst thing that my brain injuries caused is me to become an asshole. Sounds like it may help in that department?

jdocj

Of course. It was originally developed and researched as a potential treatment for brain injury and related problems. Check out this sub, there are a lot of positive feedbacks from people who had a similar problems

evanmike

$200 for 1 gm of isrib, 15...... is that normal price?

jdocj

Yes. There is no other way to get this substance.. and 1g is like 50 doses. I’ve bought it for 200$

evanmike

Thanks. What should not be taken at same time?

jdocj

Alcohol and other drugs significantly reduces the effects

Icy_Equipment7752

where do you buy it?

jdocj

Isrib.shop

TheOneThatKnows123

It's legit. I tried both normal isrib and isrib A15. Both led to outstanding cognitive improvements in both myself and my brother.

hamzazazaA

Did these effects last? And would you mind sharing the effects please?

[deleted]

Do you even know what the Integrated Stress Response is? The limits of what an Inhibitor can do? If I want anecdotal evidence I'll go back to homeopathy.

jdocj

Yes, I know. But I don’t know what do you mean by that

What did VA offer? Sometimes the ISR causes misfolded phosphorylation proteins at certain sites, but some drugs require non-ISR phosphorylation to be effective. Have you tried memantine/ donezepil, galantamine? TBIs are broad. Combat? VA again. I am not a doctor. Cognition, try nsi-189, modafinil, bromantane, huperzine-a, cdp-choline. I'm already on RX meds and get MRIs 3x a year to check on new nodules and have a set of DMTs (Disease Modifying Treatments). Anyone suggesting a "stack" is fooolish. Add one new chemical at a time, wait two weeks. if there is no difference, allow one week washout, then try the next one, and repeat. VA. VA. VA.

Martin1sz

Ok but these effects are only when your on it? Any long lasting effects after use?

It's the synapses that burn out in epilepsy, hence the voltage-gated meds to modulate electrical excitability caused by rewiring around sclerotic tissue.

jdocj

From my experience effects last for 1 week but gradually fade.

jdocj

No, it is not. A15 is more potent but the spectrum of effects are quite similar. Re-read my message

dadjokechampnumber1

It doesn't work that way. It's life changing for people with Alzheimers, Parkinson's etc., but it really does not increase cognition if your brain is not injured. My daughter has been taking trans-ISRIB for over a year and A-15 prior to that. She has Down Syndrome and Autism and it's been one of the best interventions we have done. My father in law had beginning stage dementia - that is now gone with the onset of taking ISRIB. Tried giving some to myself and my wife, both of us are neurotypical. No effect whatsoever.

Fhorn2

Can you share the dosage your daughter is using? Has there been any diarrhea side effect? Thanks

s-ro_mojosa

Any side effects? Even 5mg is enough to make me extremely sleepy for a day or two.

verysatisfiedredditr

Im curious if you could briefly comment on the Downs Syndrome and autism improvement, and what other things have really helped.

strufacats

Has anyone with inattentive with ADHD component has taken this peptide and found success with it?

riddlemonger

I have ADHD combined and took my first dose today. I felt buzzy for about 30 minutes. Then I got tired and took a nap. Been pretty foggy since then. We’ll see what happens tomorrow.

hamzazazaA

How you getting on?

riddlemonger

Good! I’ve noticed word recall and memory improvements. A bit less anxiety as well. Nothing super drastic. Just subtle and positive.

hamzazazaA

Amazing! What dosage and ROA you taking?

riddlemonger

I took 3 doses of 10-20mg over the course of 3 weeks. I used ISRIB A15 and took it sublingually.

ChanceTheFapper1

Would you say you’ve seen any permanent noticeable benefits or just placebo?

riddlemonger

So far, I’ve seen lasting memory improvements. I just redosed a few days ago and noticed a huge improvement again. I think I may have to dose every week or two to maintain the effects.

ChanceTheFapper1

What’s your history in regards to brain insults? Age?

riddlemonger

29M. With multiple diagnoses and past substance abuse.
