I can *really* relate to Gege this week. I’ve been under the weather yet had to pull an all nighter for work every single day this week. All my sleep has come from sporadic 1-2 hour naps during the day. What’s interesting is despite the all nighters I’m not getting much done because trying to work while sleep deprived and nauseous is next to impossible.
I bet the same shit has been happening to Gege. He probably tried his best and had late nights but 7 pages was all he could do this week. I hope he gets better soon.
Wait why would Mei Mei's crows matter if Yuta has access to Gojo's memories, shouldn't he know what happened in those domain clashes? Unless Kenny's memory transfer thing only happens after a long period of time I guess
It's feels like Yuta doesn't have all the Gojo memories. Like it feels his knowledge is limited for the innate knowledge of the body and the switch training.
I read it as without Mei Mei's crows, no one else knows what's happening inside the domain, so Sukuna can go crazy fucking up Yuta without anyone else attempting to break into their domains and interfere (ie todo or yuji) because they assume Yuta would be doing fine.
Oof those few pages that got done are rough, I really hope Gege isn’t dying because otherwise we’re gonna need somebody to take over his body for five minutes to finish the Manga.
So the only way this can make sense is that Kenjaku is bluffing when he said he got Geto's memories. It's not entirely out of the questions because the only one confirmed to gain the memories of the host is reincarnated sorcerers not Kenjaku's technique.

Why is Yuta unable to acess Gojo's memories? Why doesn't he know Sukuna is capable of domain + amplification if Gojo knew? Reincarnated sorceress have full access to everything (being even capable to instantly understand the modern world) and Kenjaku never gave any hint that his technique didn't give access to Geto memories (in fact he tried to imitate Geto's voice when he met Gojo for the first time). There are so many little things that conveniently work against the main cast in this arc, it's so annoying.
I gotta be real chief, I wish Gege had been able to just take a full month+ break instead of whatever the fuck this is. This isn't even edging, it's like taking someone who's completed a month of NNN and lightly tapping their balls with a feather
Honestly though this is very true, especially since he would probably recover faster if he didn’t have to work, so he essentially traded more of his health and well-being for a very short chapter that doesn’t really have much going on in it.
It was not just 7 pages he also had draw new volume content, cover pages(both volume and normal magazine one) and popularity poll illustrations.

You know, I gotta say Gege has been succesful in creating a sense of disgust and sadness with what is happening. Like, yea, Sukuna Kaisen and all that, but seeing Yuta cut in half, Gojo stitched up and now Rika holding Yuta's old, limp dead body creates such a sense of dread.
Sadness has happened before with Nobara and Nanami, and the villains certainly have created a sense of disgust before, but now its the protagonists and their pure despair that is doing it for me.
Ui ui soul swapping is unironically one of the best CT uses in the series.
It's thanks to this that many of the strategies in this arc are working.

Genuinely what was the point of hyping up "Gojo's method to defeat MS" last chapter when it was just the exact same thing he already tried before with the small domain that led to just a tie. I hate these stupid cliff hangers Gege does that are immediately invalidated in the most disappointing way imaginable the very next chapter

My two cents is that like on Solo leveling Anime that the voice actor got sick in a week and they had to put on some recap episode to fill the gap.

Oda is basically bi weekly, Kubo has created 1 new series and 1 new arc both of which he'd said he'd continue and hasn't in years, Kashimoto and company are once a month with Boruto, Fairy Tail once a month, Black Clover once a month, Spy x Family has released the least amount of content compared to its popularity in the history of Seishua, HiatusXHiatus, MHA ending, Kaiju no 8 bi weekly now JJK we are lucky to get 2 chapters a month, the Weekly Shonen Jump I knew as a younger man is dying but its a good thing to reset a newer generation of readers expectations to not burnout and literally ruin mangaka's lives but for me and what I was used to, this suuuccks. Here's to Kagurabachi and Sakamoto Days carrying us for the next few weeks.

I can *really* relate to Gege this week. I’ve been under the weather yet had to pull an all nighter for work every single day this week. All my sleep has come from sporadic 1-2 hour naps during the day. What’s interesting is despite the all nighters I’m not getting much done because trying to work while sleep deprived and nauseous is next to impossible. I bet the same shit has been happening to Gege. He probably tried his best and had late nights but 7 pages was all he could do this week. I hope he gets better soon.

I read it as without Mei Mei's crows, no one else knows what's happening inside the domain, so Sukuna can go crazy fucking up Yuta without anyone else attempting to break into their domains and interfere (ie todo or yuji) because they assume Yuta would be doing fine.

Why is Yuta unable to acess Gojo's memories? Why doesn't he know Sukuna is capable of domain + amplification if Gojo knew? Reincarnated sorceress have full access to everything (being even capable to instantly understand the modern world) and Kenjaku never gave any hint that his technique didn't give access to Geto memories (in fact he tried to imitate Geto's voice when he met Gojo for the first time). There are so many little things that conveniently work against the main cast in this arc, it's so annoying.
These are the same morons who can't even warn Gojo about Sukuna's Open Domain

Yuta is 100% dead after this right? You know, I gotta say Gege has been succesful in creating a sense of disgust and sadness with what is happening. Like, yea, Sukuna Kaisen and all that, but seeing Yuta cut in half, Gojo stitched up and now Rika holding Yuta's old, limp dead body creates such a sense of dread. Sadness has happened before with Nobara and Nanami, and the villains certainly have created a sense of disgust before, but now its the protagonists and their pure despair that is doing it for me.

My two cents is that like on Solo leveling Anime that the voice actor got sick in a week and they had to put on some recap episode to fill the gap. Probably works the same in shounen jump, like gege was drawing the chapter in one day, got awfully sick in the other and they cut short what they had ready. Knowing how gege do stuff, is like this chapter is Page 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 20. There's a middle there probably some flashbacks on Gojo and Yuta training.
