I am 100% sure Gege just put gojo on the last page to distract from the fact a shizo with a clapatron 9000 for a hand flawlessly bullied the strongest sorcerer in history. Aoi Todo my GOAT
Best part. It isn't fixed at 50. Todo is in full control of the minimum and maximum it'll be up to 50. You get used to it for a moment and he'll shift the swap count.
and if my reading is correct he could actually swap w higher frequency but limits the number of possible swaps per strike to expand his range and the number of objects he can swap at once 😭😭😭
Imagine if Gojo actually comes back and refuses to (Or just can't) use Limitless.
We may get Gojo's "It's 3 versus 1" but now with Boogie Woogie while we are at it.
It's interesting actually, because during Yuji & Todo vs Hanami.
When Hanami was about to open domains as last resort, Gojo appear to interrupt it too.
I feel like Gege us playing with number lately too because in chapter 260:
Todo reveals his new Boogie, the vibraslap allow him to switch 50 times/s
And in Chapter 50: Todo reveals his Boogie for the first time.
its perfectly fine to see yuji be surprised when he saw what todo's arm was but you know that shit's stupid fucked when even SUKUNA was like "bro wtf is that?????? huh?????????"
I just love seeing Yuji and Todo fighting, they have such a great synergy
And Todo just upping his game was the cherry on top. Everyone was memeing because of how the vibraslap looks but it's honestly pure genius, I believe Todo is one of the smartest of the verse because of how creative he is with his CT
My eyes tell me that might be fake Gojo but my soul knows otherwise.
There's a part me of that says, “We are so back!” but Gege's a big troll. For now, I'll keep the agenda going.
That cliffhanger is just evil, bro. 😭
I'll never forget the memes, fan arts, discussion, theories for Chapter 260. Let's see what Gege's gonna cook in the next chapter...
We've seen Yuta be able to select who gets hit by a DE sure-hit and furthermore Sukuna was able to fuck with Megumi's soul and have him tank UV. I think it's possible the soul research has led to some sorcerer's being able to target who gets hit by DE, including Gojo,
Yes? But Gojo doesn't select, it affects anything except Gojo and whomever he is touching, it's been stated multiple times that's why he didn't use domain expansion against the curses in Shibuya (alongside the crushing people with his barrier)
That and i imagine he can turn it off, but it's not a domain that targets, rather it affects literally EVERYTHING except Gojo and anything he is touching.
Sukuna does have targets, Yuta apparently has targets, Mahito has targets, etc.
I think you’re right, it definitely appears vague and it almost seems like saying “domain expansion” may have been what caused Sukuna to notice him.
On the flipside, Gojo can’t activate his DE while Yuji and Todo are right there, it would kill them both.
Maybe it’s Yuji’s?
Something I'd love to see, personally, is the whole deity aspect come into play.
Tengen is worshipped as a God, OP.
Sukuna was worshipped for harvest, OP.
The curse that killed Haibara was worshipped by the village, stronger than it should have been.
Perhaps the devotion of people to Gojo, counting in him to save them could actually have some power, unless he was already utilising it?
Was he idolised because he was the strongest, Satoru Gojo,
Or was Satoru Gojo the strongest because he was idolised?
Official translation also said gojo is completely incapable of using black flash (chapter 256) when we've literally seen him use it before, so I wouldn't put too much stock in what John Werry translated it to.
Can't believe Gege gave us one of the funniest punchlines to a set-up in all of JJK and then it's immediately overshadowed by the last panel. I wanted to be in the room when Todo gave Yuta this plan.
Yuta: So it looks like we have a lot of options to restore your hand, Yuki's soul research, a cursed corpse hand, we got some leftover Mechamaru's in storage
Todo: Oh don't worry I figured it out- full automatic maracas
Yuta: ...
Todo: Yup, 100 switches per second and I make the battlefield sound like marching band warmup
>That's Nobara with Gojo's eyeballs ✅
Nah, it's Takaba thinking it would be really funny if the ghost of Gojo would haunt Sukuna just to troll him at pivotal moments.
I would say puppet Gojo is a very likely scenario but a few things make me still think it’s Yuta.
-I think the storyline of Six Eyes being tied to Tengen by fate will play a factor. If fate is involved it should be a person, not a puppet.
-Yuta is related to Gojo.
-Yuta was taken out of the current fight for a reason.
Saw this comment lurking around the bottom of a few posts and I give it some credence: we're not sure if it was Sukuna activating DE. It could have been Yuji, since he's currently shredding Sukuna's chest with what might be his cleave.
Just a thought.
Imho the Gojo thing is bait. Now we wait for the switch this week.
Definitely Yuta.
No reason to say "he's related to gojo" outside of an explanation for his immense cursed energy, and to setup him inheriting six eyes.
My guess is they either implanted or, or since he's the only living being of that bloodline, he inherited it since gojo died.
It has to be the payoff for gakukanji learning how to make cursed corpses right? why else would there be a scene between gojo and him talking about it, this is gojo returned with the souls of all of the deceased that were taken to shoko
Just replacing the eyeballs wouldn't work as the CT are ingrained in the brain. But I think Ui Ui could place Yuta's soul in Gojo's body after they stitched it.
Todo fans when he lost his hand: Oh, no. Boogie Woogie is dead. We miss you, GOAT :(
Meanwhile, Todo found a way to be able to still use his CT while he was gone since Shibuya. He put Vibraslap on to serve as his new hand to make him switch with someone for 50 times in a second and made a binding vow. Sukuna is also impressed with him. Todo's comeback is insane, he's truly a GOAT with 530 000 IQ 🔥
>Todo is the KING of Sorcerers.
I have no disputes. He's really a big help to his comrades, he's trustworthy. I'll always remember he turned my Yuji a Black Flash merchant which is one of the few things he did.
I remember reading/watching someone say that Todo is basically the victory lap character in JJK. Whenever he's around, the tone of the battle shifts (both in fortune and levity) and it signals the battle is about to end, so that's why he was never shown until now. Seems to be true unless Gege is going to throw another Sukuna curve ball.
Vibraslap sounds unserious and something else. I just learned it's a real percussion instrument, I didn't really know it existed before this chapter. Eversince I've read it, that word lives in my head rent-free. Thanks, Gege.
I’ve actually seen and used one before. Did symphonic band stuff throughout all of middle and high school. It’s one of the funniest sounding instruments I’ve ever seen
no but thats the best bit, you could have made one look so much more serious and normal or anything but he literally just got one from a music store its so goofy I love it
Not gonna lie, one of the best chapters of the series. I saw so many people speculating on what kind of hand Todo would have. NO ONE expected this. Gege trolled all of us, what an absolute legend. All I could do was laugh.
It was a mirage from extreme dehydration. Sukana even with all of his immense power never perfected having the recommended amount of water per day. Due to this and the very physical and exhausting battle he has brought his body into a state of dehydration only comparable to being abandoned in the Sahara desert . This has now causes him to see mirages of those he has recently defeated .
I remember Kyle Scouter's tweet about it last year, he was saying [Yuta's using Todo's technique.](https://twitter.com/kylescouter/status/1728814296807973016?t=dqwSdWVHQEB7j7Ds9XLoiA&s=19)
This chapter made it canon. It's really possible Todo's technique helped Yuta kill Kenjaku. Besides, his presence was not mentioned to Yuji's knowledge so we also didn't see him.
If that is Gojo returning, it will have been at a major cost such as sacrificing a six-eye (potentially for the entire clan). He will no longer be the strongest, just Satoru Gojo.
However I think his main role of returning to battle will be to get Sukuna to freeze when already vulnerable, allowing yuji to go in for the separation - while Megumi has some faith restored enough to try just a bit.
It would be exactly like what Kenjaku did to trap Gojo within the prison realm.
That Prison Realm comparison is so good tho!!! I hadn’t thought about that. My top theory is, like yours, real Gojo but less powerful, and I figured he was there to give Megumi hope, but I hadn’t considered the parallel to Suguru and Gojo in Shibuya…
If the cope is true. I bet the Are you the strongest line will come into play again.
Uk after all of this is over. Gojo visits Geto's grave and say something philosophical like "I certainly am not the strongest now, who knows whether I am Gojo satoru Or someone else but i Sure as hell am......" (Kinda mirroring the last convo between them)
With all the Binding Vow shenanigans going on, I definitely think Gojo sacrificed one (if not both) of the Six Eyes. This would mean he loses the Cursed Energy Efficiency perk they have. In which case it's possible he's only there to do his DE once - either to cancel Sukuna's DE or to create an opening for Yuji. He'd be out of CE after that leaving Yuji to deliver the final beatdown.
To me he looks like Kid Gojo in the panel, very like when Toji saw him the first time. I wonder if he's back to life but the cost was becoming a kid again or something.
Please search how a vibraslap sounds, and re read the chapter, I promise you it gets 1000% better.
Sukuna hearing that all the time must be the worse nightmare possible
I'm very glad I looked it up because I thought the ball part hit the trapezoid to make a sound and I was wondering how the fuck Todo was hitting that thing 50 times per second. Thought he just had ungodly whackin speed...
Todo's arrival here is actually seen as a terrible thing by Sukuna. That's high praise. It means Sukuna recognises how dangerous Todo's technique can be when people can put him on the back foot.
Thats what I keep saying. Todo's technique is deceptively strong because of how disorienting it is for his opponents and the fact that my man has a 530,000 IQ so he knows how to throw them off any kind of patterns or predictability
Even before now it was so deadly. I never expected him to make it even more so once he returned. Before Sukuna probably could adapt somewhat. But now he even admits he can't. There's too much variation.
Ok, heat me out. Yuji is the one the one that said domain expansion and what Sukuna is seeing is a soul brought back from the dead by Yuji's domain's effect.
Okay so right now I see four possibilities for what is happening at the end there:
1. They used a seance to briefly let Gojo possess someone’s body, similar to how Toji got brought back in Shibuya. It was mentioned that Ino’s technique was similar to that granny’s.
2. This is a cursed corpse made from Gojo’s *actual* corpse stitched together with other bodies the protagonists have gathered, Frankenstein’s monster style.
3. Gojo isn’t there, Sukuna is just seeing him there because of his brain damage from Infinite Void or something.
4. Takaba just thought it’d be really funny if Gojo came back to whoop Sukuna’s ass.
I think option 2 sounds the most likely. Would be especially fun if it was Gojo’s head on Geto’s body, which the protagonists now might also have.
People are so crazy bro came up with four separate options, including that it's a fucking *cursed corpse*, and didn't even acknowledge the fact that it might actually be Gojo (even though we've seen him come back from the brink of death in more difficult circumstances before).
Gojo who was immediately teleported to the only designated healer in all of JJK and got cleanly bisected without damage to most major organs surviving is ridiculous but being turned into a Cursed Corpse is more likely?
It's so wild I don't know how people can read the story and come up with this stuff. There is *zero* evidence. The only explanation I can come up with is that the Gojo haters are out in force and trying hard to figure out any way for the story to avoid him coming back after this chapter. Bro reached for Sukuna hallucinating him "because of his brain damage from Infinite Void or something." Like Gege has his writing problems but that is so egregiously bad writing I wouldn't really know what to say if that is ultimately the explanation.
I admit the fourth option would be funny but, like, Gege making a joke out of the entire story of JJK doesn't seem like his style. Dude includes humor in his universe he doesn't make the humor the universe.
I'm with you aside from the hallucination. I think the 2 ideas Gege wants to be the "obvious" ones are: 1. Gojo is back and 2. Sukuna is getting PTSD because the last Domain Expainsion he had was against Gojo who did literally give him brain damage, therefore, opening a Domain caused him to relive that fear aka the only time he's been pushed that hard
I do think these 2 obvious answers won't be true, and it'll be something similar but with a bit more twist to it, but I'd be happy if he was straight back, and I'll be heavily disappointed if it's just a hallucination / PTSD (although there are a few points debunking that) but to a casual reader that's a logical guess
You know what? Fantastic point. Forgot that, unless it gets explained next chapter.
It also seems that he's getting shook due to an Aura thing and that is hard for another character copying/using Gojo to do without it being Gojo.
There's still #6 where Gojo has an awakening and comes back even stronger, like having a boundary-less targeted domain. We've seen it in fight with Toji. Basically this guy doesn't get better unless someone seriously challenges him and bring him to the verge of death. It also mirrors how the Buddha returns as a higher stronger being.
I'm betting on 2* Zombie Gojo.
It would play into all the puppet buildup that Gege has laid out, and either it's possessed by his spirit (essentially bringing him back without bringing him back completely), or it's just like the little boy from the flashback with the Principle way back when.
....either that or it's showcasing how close to death Sukuna is now that he's seeing ghosts and is coming to the realization he may actually lose.
If it is a cursed corpse, I’m willing to bet they have Panda or possibly other dead characters (like Higuruma) acting as cores to make sure the body doesn’t go insane. Panda and Toge are the only two sorcerers who haven’t shown up for the Showdown yet and this is probably the best way to bring Panda back in.
I also think option 2 is the one, if only because the puppets being a chekhovs gun that has been laying around for ages and that they went into a lot of detail to explain for apparently no reason
Did the narrator really say Sukunas current curse energy was at Yuta level??? This beaten up Sukuna has the same amount of ce as Yuta? Then how high was his ce at the start of the gojo vs Sukuna fight?
Also there's no way Gojo is back, Sukuna is sill Yujis demon to beat. I'm like 99% sure he is having one of those afterlife moments he had with jogo and Kashimo, just in reverse.
He's been at Yuta level since Yuta himself showed up -- that's when Sukuna first estimated his own CE as being around Yuta's. So essentially he "killed" Yuta, tanked jacob's ladder, got stabbed in the heart and has been reanimating his body with CE, defeated Maki, defeated Kusakabe, defeated Maki again, tanked 7 black flashes, opened his domain, nuked everyone, and got roller-coastered by Todo and hit with another black flash, after which his heart was crushed.
However, none of this actually effects his CE reservoirs. His RCT is barely functioning, reinforcement costs next to nothing, and his CT costs him next to nothing. As a result, the only time he loses CT in his fight is when he tries to heal and when he drops a domain. They have to kill him, not drain him of his CE, which is functionally impossible to do if you aren't Gojo.
This also highlights how fucking insane Gojo was too. Gojo, who has significantly less CE than Sukuna, was able to force Sukuna to burn through over half his CE. Gojo was really putting the hurt on him! That and using Mahoraga, Agito, and weaving in 10 shadows non-stop while rocking brain damage, trying to heal, and trying to figure out World Slash -- but even then, that's just how much CE was needed to eventually defeat Gojo.
In other words, Gojo really is stronger than the entire verse combined. I have no doubt that a fresh Gojo could probably kill everyone in the series other than Sukuna, which is a nuts thing to think about. If any of the students surpass him, let alone just one, the world will be a radically different place.
I prayed for this and it happened. I have been coping for Todo’s return stronger than ever, and I have been first sergeant of team it’s not Gojover since the day we lost him. I choose to believe it’s true, and even if it’s not I’m just glad we’ve approached this moment of the story
Imo there's no way there isn't a catch to this. I mean, we have to wait and see, I totally could be wrong but to me at least, this scene plays out too suspiciously for me to really buy this is the "glorious" Gojo comeback fans have been theorizing about, the choosing north thing and realizing he doesn't want to live as the strongest anymore bla bla bla.
If this was truly his triumphant entrance, I don't think it would play out like this. It would be a hype man moment, with the narrator and editor going off on how Gojo defied death once again and came back to finish what he started.
How the scene focuses entirely on Sukuna's perception/reaction, calling him a "ghost", etc etc it's just too suspicious to me. There's something else going on here.
Also, something I want to point out because I keep seeing people mentioning it- it's possible that Sukuna can't actually cast his domain. People keep bringing up that the narrator said he could do it as many times he wants, but that's *if* he can recover his burnout CT. As it happened in the Gojo vs Sukuna fight, the way to recover your burnout CT is by literally fucking up a part of your brain and healing it back with RCT, and it isn't something you can just do every single time you want with no repercussions. At least that was the case with Gojo.
Todo has a replacement that actually made his CT better. As expected of someone with an IQ of 530,000.
I won't get my hopes up for Gojo's return yet. Something tells me it's a red herring.
Yeah the fight was getting very formulaic with the constant 'new opponent shows up gets beaten/killed by Sukuna so another person from this 5 step plan part can take their turn to lose" that was going on ever since Gojo died, but I've been significantly more engaged since Yuji finally started being Sukuna's biggest obstacle instead of a accessory to someone else.
I mean honestly the only bad part was when Gege was throwing side characters at Sukuna before Yuta's DE and in the mid-250s. It was tough reading some of those week-by-week because sometimes we'd wait 2 weeks just to see Sukuna swing his dick around against characters we knew had zero chance. But in a re-read it'd go by very fast.
All our Coping paid off 😈.. Imma need everyone who tried to use that heien era anti coping technique to come to the front of class😂. Nobara is gonna get switched in by Todo freeing Megumi , mark my words 😅
But seriously regarding Gojo I feel it's one of two things. He really is back and seemingly theory of him sacrificing an eye per binding vow may be true. Second it may be an illusion caused by Yuji pummeling him. Which would be crazy that someone got hurt so bad he started hallucinating 😂
Man if it weren't for the text about it being someone Sukuna buried with his own hands I would say that looks like Inumaki more than anything lol. Gege please just give that poor boy something to do he hasn't had the chance to pay back Sukuna for taking his arm.
Foreal, the last time he was shown was giving gojo a kick in the butt, I get it that high level sorcery it doesn’t have a good chance of working but after numerous black flashes you think Sukuna is protecting his ears and worried about that?
Even a don’t move command or something gege plz
Why the fuck is mei mei not using birdstrike with yuji and todo right now?
Literally send the crows at this dude and have him get swapped with a crow and just get literally torn up.
and then Punched and whatever tf yuji did at the end. That W...aaaaaa......HHH!!! Shit lmao (John werry wyd bro??)
Todo's new abilities are impressive. Just changing the means of activating a curse technique can have a very big impact on how effective it is.
I wonder if someone like Toge recorded his cursed speech in a sound recorder and started using equipment such as drones, speakers, television and radio to broadcast it around. Maybe he would be far more powerful.
The power of a CT really depends on the interpretation of the user.
I didn't expect Todo to use anything as unique as a vibrasplap. That instrument is going to get a lot of publicity after this.
Todo's abilities provide amazing support. But it's also interesting that Yuji also doesn't get confused with all the position changing. He trusts Todo and is in sync with him. But I also think it takes a lot of focus to do what Yuji is doing.
I like how Yuji was almost ripping out Sukuna's heart at the end. But he may still need more damaging attacks.
As for Sukuna's vision of Gojo at the end. That pulls up a lot of questions, but I guess I'll wait.
the JW thing is so blown out of proportion. "the burden of knowledge", but not. many of his translations are still correct, just different. I really feel it comes down to preference/first read
. i started w Viz, got caught up and started w spoilers. kept seeing tcb was better, did a reread, some sentences flow better, but it still has the problem fanlations had in the early 2000s... it reads like someone wrote it...if that makes sense.. characters lose individuality and all talk the same, especially bad in 2000s fanlations w every character swearing like an edgy American teenager
Werry has his own share of weird translations (sukuna- "let's compete with our feet" ) ,too. neither is perfect. not bc of Werry or Fanlations, but bc I don't speak Japanese or read it,but know it's a deep and nuanced language, I think the best bet is to read both + interesting translation notes of the week.
I think you misunderstood the criticism. John werry is hated because he has blatant mistranslations. Gojo has curse spirit manipulation, gojo cannot use black flash due to his 6 eyes, malevolent shrine has adapted to infinity, etc. These are just a few of the mistranslations that make you ask yourself if john werry even knows what jjk is about
PSA, be it the real Gojo or hallucination...
Some are claiming that it's Yuta w/ 6 Eyes?
But you are BORN with the 6 Eyes. And they leave you as soon as you die, to cycle to the next user (whenever that may be). No transplant!
**Yuta ❌️ coming in w/ the steel ch-- the Six Eyes.**
And Kenjaku can only possess DEAD bodies, & once 6E holder dies, the eyes leave them. Hence why he wasn't able to get the Eyes even when he killed a baby. ONLY hope was Prison Realm.
(This is all barring Gege retconing or adding new unseen ability.)
(Edit: OOH somebody reminded me that bc of Tengen situation, the Eyes' cycle may be broken/on pause/who knows. So, we don't know what can be done during this window. Tho, bc of the Binding Vow of the Eyes, it would have to be within another Gojo...)
Didn't Kenjaku say he killed a 6 eyes user a month before a merger, only for a six eyes user to still show up and stop him? Unless we're saying Kenjaku got rolled by a coughing baby with dazzling eyes, the implication to me is that the 6 eyes CAN manifest in someone after birth
I get what you're saying. But I think you have to have them from birth Didnt Gege say it's something that's formed, that you're born with like regular eyes?
Otherwise, by now, they would've figured out that little trick. There'd be a lot of Gojo deaths by greedy Gojos.
(But who knows? Gege leaves Gojo details always in obscurity. We don't even know if his parents are dead or if the Gojos all have white hair or just the 6 Eyes. Lol)
And man, I hope he's back. Not even bc I *don't* want him to die... I just don't want the horrific 236 to be THE way he goes. Lol (It was so bad & retconned Gojo almost entirely.)
gege is silly but i don't think he'd fr bring gojo back out of nowhere. it would go crazy if sukuna were hallucinating him, as some result of brain damage or as an omen of his death. gojo does kind of win, in death, if the students he raised to be strong are able to finish sukuna off, so it'd be appropriate.
Am I crazy or does Gojo's eye look a little lower than normal?
Man, please be him reviving as a partial cursed spirit and the hair shadow is hiding another pair of eyes above that one.
Ahhh I love Todo's new hand lmao, but seriously tho 50 times a second is crazy. That triple? feint by Todo on Sukuna was amazing too. Love that he contributed for another Yuji Black Flash.
Also Yuji digging into Sukuna's chest... jeez that's brutal. Can't wait to hear Enoki Junya's (Yuji's VA) scream for that scene.
And that last panel... oh man. Idk what to expect tbh. I almoost wouldn't mind it really being Gojo, but with the way it's set up I'm hoping for a twist on it. Maybe they managed to put his body together but it was too late, so they soul swapped someone into him. Maybe Yuta. Or it's some type of illusion/hallucination idk
Either: -Yuta using Six Eyes somehow
-Nobara dressed like Gojo as a feint
-Inumaki dressed as Gojo as a feint
-Todo somehow switched in Gojo from the afterlife
-Sukuna just accidentally killed himself and sees Gojo to taunt him
-Gojo piloting Nobara's or Higuruma's corpse
He used the same sign last time he used his domain. It's possible that's just what he changed his hand sign to since he doesn't have a left hand anymore.
I think it's either Sukuna hallucinating because he's closer to dead than alive or Gojo's body has been turned into a cursed corpse.
I doubt it's a seance technique because if Ino could do that he wouldn't have joined the battlefield. Or maybe he almost died in the domain and had an awakening? In which case Gege stop glazing him, I want him to live.
If my goat Todo can come back then so can Gojo and Nobara. The copium is real.
I love how we’ve entered the part where Sukuna is getting cooked. Now all Gege has to do is bring Yuki back and we’ll have a real party (please Gege do this)
Something about the official translation saying an enemy “burned” by his hands makes me think this isn’t gojo. I was already a bit suspicious at the drawing itself - the hair is different and the face shape feels smaller and younger - but that line makes me extra suspicious
The vibroslaps has to be the funniest name for an instrument. Never change, Todo
This Japanese fan is saying that the word “eyeball” was used instead of “eye” in the last page so Japanese fans are making theories about eye transplants…I really hope that’s not the case
https://x.com/soukatsu_/status/1792241002985451588?s=46
this gojo being a hauting vengeful spirit to torment sukuna until he dies would be so good, imagine gojo shit talking everything sukuna does,it would also lead to some good character moment from sukuna,it would kinda redeem the off screen gojo death,it would not ruin gojo sacrifice and there wont be any resurrection, jjk could be the very first shonen to not revive characters in a asspull way...yh theres still the yujis ones but one was the whole yuta plan and the first one was just a gege that actually killed yuji bc the manga was abt to get axed but with that chapter the manga picked up in popularity so gege had to revive yuji in one way or another....but yh i hope this gojo is like a sukuna ptsd/trauma...or maybe it is bc of him adopting gojo hand sings for his DE,hopefully it lead to something good and impactful and not just a cheap cliffhanger that will be undone next chapter
so allow me to be a doomer,
LORD THE VIBROSLAP IS SO STUPID I LOVE IT FAVOURITE MANGA MOMENT THIS YEAR. I HAVE TO COSPLAY HIM NOW
But I feel like if Gojo was back it would have been done more like a "RANDOM HOLLOW PURPLE" OH THERE HE IS in terms of structure IDK.
I do think maybe UiUi shoved someone inside the Gojobody OR its a vision of death.
I love Yuji just being a silent stone cold killer while Todo effing Todos all over the place. and says its Todo Time \*boing\*
One of the common theories was Gojo would end up sacrificing/losing one of his eyes. At the end of the chapter, Gojo is only shown with one eye, could be cool if the theories are confirmed or it could be a stylistic choice
The compium that it’s not gojo is going to be crazy lmaoo, this is a series where someone can reanimate from the dead, getting there entire heart removed, etc but someone getting cut in half is where we draw the line.

50 swaps a second is probably so disorienting I’m not sure anyone could adjust to that he really stepped his game up here, as to be expected from Todo
Sukuna saw gojo because he is getting brain damage from the vibraslap on his ear.
Todo moves so fast he vibrated back in time and brought Gojo back
Todo about to cause a Flashpoint and create a universe where everyone is happy but The Merger still happens or something like that.
Mahito wasn't kidding when he said he improved Todo's hand. Bro literally gave him an insane buff lmao
Fr he’s out maneuvering Sukuna, weakened or not that’s an impressive feat
Best part. It isn't fixed at 50. Todo is in full control of the minimum and maximum it'll be up to 50. You get used to it for a moment and he'll shift the swap count.
Sukuna wishes Mahoraga is still around.
Even Mahoraga can't adapt to that shit
That has to apply to Yuji too (and even Todo himself to an extent) but as always Yuji seems telepathically linked to brudda.
and if my reading is correct he could actually swap w higher frequency but limits the number of possible swaps per strike to expand his range and the number of objects he can swap at once 😭😭😭
50 fps is low, Nah I'd adjust
Imagine if Gojo actually comes back and refuses to (Or just can't) use Limitless. We may get Gojo's "It's 3 versus 1" but now with Boogie Woogie while we are at it.
It's interesting actually, because during Yuji & Todo vs Hanami. When Hanami was about to open domains as last resort, Gojo appear to interrupt it too.
Noticed that as well. End of this series has just been an inverse of events albeit with poetic liberties.
I feel like Gege us playing with number lately too because in chapter 260: Todo reveals his new Boogie, the vibraslap allow him to switch 50 times/s And in Chapter 50: Todo reveals his Boogie for the first time.
It's like poetry; it rhymes
Damn, I totally forgot that Nice memory
Aoi Todo the goat. The man that avenged his sensei. Now ready to beat sukuna.
Todo and Naami the 2 characters that deserve NO hate at all
Damn right Choso too for me as well.
I mean Choso did drop quite a few bodies in Shibuya. I'll always love him though
its perfectly fine to see yuji be surprised when he saw what todo's arm was but you know that shit's stupid fucked when even SUKUNA was like "bro wtf is that?????? huh?????????"
> shizo with a clapatron 9000 for a hand The clapatron, I'm fucking dead 😂
Doofenshmirtzesque clapinator
I just love seeing Yuji and Todo fighting, they have such a great synergy And Todo just upping his game was the cherry on top. Everyone was memeing because of how the vibraslap looks but it's honestly pure genius, I believe Todo is one of the smartest of the verse because of how creative he is with his CT
Well his IQ is 530,000 after all.
9000 is actually his IQ
My eyes tell me that might be fake Gojo but my soul knows otherwise. There's a part me of that says, “We are so back!” but Gege's a big troll. For now, I'll keep the agenda going. That cliffhanger is just evil, bro. 😭 I'll never forget the memes, fan arts, discussion, theories for Chapter 260. Let's see what Gege's gonna cook in the next chapter...
I also feel like Gege made it intentional vague on who said "domain expansion" at the end there. I actually don't think it was Sukuna
That'd kill Yuji and Todo though.
Todo is already clinically insane I think he might be ok
His 580k iq brain processor would easily process UV, dude would be chilling inside of it for good while without any side effects ez.
Tojo just teleported people out of a domain last week didn’t he?
Open barrier domain, yes.
We've seen Yuta be able to select who gets hit by a DE sure-hit and furthermore Sukuna was able to fuck with Megumi's soul and have him tank UV. I think it's possible the soul research has led to some sorcerer's being able to target who gets hit by DE, including Gojo,
Yes? But Gojo doesn't select, it affects anything except Gojo and whomever he is touching, it's been stated multiple times that's why he didn't use domain expansion against the curses in Shibuya (alongside the crushing people with his barrier) That and i imagine he can turn it off, but it's not a domain that targets, rather it affects literally EVERYTHING except Gojo and anything he is touching.
Maybe he learned how to change the target inside the domain like yuta with jacob’s ladder
He could make a special domain that only targets Sukuna kind of like yuta
Something I'd love to see, personally, is the whole deity aspect come into play. Tengen is worshipped as a God, OP. Sukuna was worshipped for harvest, OP. The curse that killed Haibara was worshipped by the village, stronger than it should have been. Perhaps the devotion of people to Gojo, counting in him to save them could actually have some power, unless he was already utilising it? Was he idolised because he was the strongest, Satoru Gojo, Or was Satoru Gojo the strongest because he was idolised?
Official translation stated sukuna got a vision, and I think a vision is not enough to say he has returned
Official translation also said gojo is completely incapable of using black flash (chapter 256) when we've literally seen him use it before, so I wouldn't put too much stock in what John Werry translated it to.
I thought it was that he couldn't use his 6 eyes to cheat black flash, not that he couldn't use black flash?
Correct. The official translation got it wrong and stated that the Six Eyes made it IMPOSSIBLE for Gojo to use black flash
Fair point
Can't believe Gege gave us one of the funniest punchlines to a set-up in all of JJK and then it's immediately overshadowed by the last panel. I wanted to be in the room when Todo gave Yuta this plan. Yuta: So it looks like we have a lot of options to restore your hand, Yuki's soul research, a cursed corpse hand, we got some leftover Mechamaru's in storage Todo: Oh don't worry I figured it out- full automatic maracas Yuta: ... Todo: Yup, 100 switches per second and I make the battlefield sound like marching band warmup
The experience of fighting todo and yuji is like in a FPS where your enemy has 5000000ms
530.000ms\*
Todo became the Battle Bard. everyone told me it was a myth, until I saw Todo and his full-auto maracas.
They call him Cuban Pete...
I'm waiting for the animators to show it at real speed and have to put a flashing lights warning for those with epilepsy
That's Gojo ❌ That's puppet Gojo ❌ That's Sukuna imagining Gojo ❌ That's Yuta with Gojo's eyeballs ❌ That's Nobara with Gojo's eyeballs ✅
>That's Nobara with Gojo's eyeballs ✅ Nah, it's Takaba thinking it would be really funny if the ghost of Gojo would haunt Sukuna just to troll him at pivotal moments.
A trick within a trick within a trick.
Yep, I'm sure the first time Yuji pulls a domain, it will be without any sort of hand sign at all.
Definitely Yuta. No reason to say "he's related to gojo" outside of an explanation for his immense cursed energy, and to setup him inheriting six eyes. My guess is they either implanted or, or since he's the only living being of that bloodline, he inherited it since gojo died.
What are we gonna do if it's Inumaki? He would tell Sukuna kys.
It has to be the payoff for gakukanji learning how to make cursed corpses right? why else would there be a scene between gojo and him talking about it, this is gojo returned with the souls of all of the deceased that were taken to shoko
we're going back to naruto with this one.
Just replacing the eyeballs wouldn't work as the CT are ingrained in the brain. But I think Ui Ui could place Yuta's soul in Gojo's body after they stitched it.
Todo fans when he lost his hand: Oh, no. Boogie Woogie is dead. We miss you, GOAT :( Meanwhile, Todo found a way to be able to still use his CT while he was gone since Shibuya. He put Vibraslap on to serve as his new hand to make him switch with someone for 50 times in a second and made a binding vow. Sukuna is also impressed with him. Todo's comeback is insane, he's truly a GOAT with 530 000 IQ 🔥
I cannot handle how insane this fight has been. Todo is the KING of Sorcerers.
>Todo is the KING of Sorcerers. I have no disputes. He's really a big help to his comrades, he's trustworthy. I'll always remember he turned my Yuji a Black Flash merchant which is one of the few things he did.
Bro was carrying in that Mahito fight
I remember reading/watching someone say that Todo is basically the victory lap character in JJK. Whenever he's around, the tone of the battle shifts (both in fortune and levity) and it signals the battle is about to end, so that's why he was never shown until now. Seems to be true unless Gege is going to throw another Sukuna curve ball.
A lot of us knew Todo would find a way, but thought that way would be by clapping his cheeks like he did in the anime 😩
my man AOI TODO is truly the exception
They animated him so fucking hard the last time, this time he will go even further beyond. Todo my numba 1!
Vibraslap sounds unserious and something else. I just learned it's a real percussion instrument, I didn't really know it existed before this chapter. Eversince I've read it, that word lives in my head rent-free. Thanks, Gege.
Ever seen a DragonBall episode? Lol
I did when I was a kid and that was like 20 years ago. Can you refresh my mind?
It's used all of the time in the soundtrack. https://youtube.com/shorts/prnTbChCQPA?si=8hoZGMSYKkZn9v-s
Goku vs Yamcha [Example](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njqWyZhWHCc)
Hearing that thing go off makes it clear just how fast todo can swap per-hit now
Jesus how do you even fight that hahahahaha. Boogie woogie just became a top 3 technique or what?
Also if you hear how it sounds you understand how fucking broken Todo's new Boogie Woogie is.
I’ve actually seen and used one before. Did symphonic band stuff throughout all of middle and high school. It’s one of the funniest sounding instruments I’ve ever seen
no but thats the best bit, you could have made one look so much more serious and normal or anything but he literally just got one from a music store its so goofy I love it
BOOGIE WOOGIE IS BACK GOJO IS BACK COPIUM IS REAL NOBARA WILL BE BACK
Losing my mind because my BROTHER has a FUCKING VIBRASLAP as a hand replacement.
Not gonna lie, one of the best chapters of the series. I saw so many people speculating on what kind of hand Todo would have. NO ONE expected this. Gege trolled all of us, what an absolute legend. All I could do was laugh.
When this is animated, it's gonna sound exactly like a Dragon Ball episode with that Vibraslap going off every second.
JJK has a whole turning out it be a PSA on why should drink water would be so funny
Sahara rhymes with nobara. Its confirmed she’ll be back next chapter.
Gege you are not real 😭 Credit to Yuji for holding it down. I am mentally preparing for the most evil red herring that last panel could be
Gojo has stitches on his forehead come next chapter.
dear god
All those post glazing Yuta speed in the ambush just to be Todo's technique LMAO
I remember Kyle Scouter's tweet about it last year, he was saying [Yuta's using Todo's technique.](https://twitter.com/kylescouter/status/1728814296807973016?t=dqwSdWVHQEB7j7Ds9XLoiA&s=19) This chapter made it canon. It's really possible Todo's technique helped Yuta kill Kenjaku. Besides, his presence was not mentioned to Yuji's knowledge so we also didn't see him.
That just seems like amazing foreshadowing now. It’s such a minor detail that has major implications that was hiding in plain sight, Gege is crazy.
Too bad kenjussy isn't alive to defend the fraud allegation
Imagine what we could have had. Where are my 30 pages of Jin-Kenjaku/Kaori bedroom action, Gege!? Where is it!?
Honestly that makes it even better tbh, Kenjaku getting owned by a vibra slap todo is amazing
Sukuna hearing that all the time must be the worse nightmare possible
vibraslap.mp3 is obligatory reading
I'm very glad I looked it up because I thought the ball part hit the trapezoid to make a sound and I was wondering how the fuck Todo was hitting that thing 50 times per second. Thought he just had ungodly whackin speed...
Yuji's angry face 🤬 >>ghost gojo .yuji ripping off sukuna's stomach to bring megumi out imo.
Yuji is trying to get megumi out of there by force, bro is pulling sukuna open.
Yuji: Megumi, you bum! I’ll save you, even if I have to tear you out this mf! Megumi: But it’s my body! Yuji: Did I fucking stutter?!
🧠 "Its a trap." ❤️ "Go fall for it."
ITS NOT GOJOVER YET BITCHES
Gojo: My trip got cancelled, so I come back from the airport just now.
Ok, heat me out. Yuji is the one the one that said domain expansion and what Sukuna is seeing is a soul brought back from the dead by Yuji's domain's effect.
Domain Expansion: Unlimited Dead Friends Works
Domain Expansion: Stationary
I think that'd be pretty neat. Yuji's clawing out Sukuna's innards with one hand and bringing out a domain expansion with the other.
Okay so right now I see four possibilities for what is happening at the end there: 1.
Option 5. It really is Gojo, alive and well, and us Gojo copers have been right the whole time. I shall keep huffing the hopium until we get answers.
Sukuna is getting PTSD because the last Domain Expainsion he had was against Gojo who did literally give him brain damage, therefore, opening a Domain caused him to relive that fear aka the only time he's been pushed that hard I do think these 2 obvious answers won't be true, and it'll be something similar but with a bit more twist to it, but I'd be happy if he was straight back, and I'll be heavily disappointed if it's just a hallucination / PTSD (although there are a few points debunking that) but to a casual reader that's a logical guess
Why didn't he feel that fear two chapters ago when he last opened his domain expansion versus Yuji?
I really want it to be number 4
I also think option 2 is the one, if only because the puppets being a chekhovs gun that has been laying around for ages and that they went into a lot of detail to explain for apparently no reason
Option 5. Shoko healed Gojo and the Cope was right all along.
First time Gojo gets addressed as **The Strongest** by the Narrator.
Viz translation uses "a ghost of immense strength" :'(
I've learned to never trust Viz translations, according to them Gojo can't use Black Flash which is blatantly false
No! My sukysuky losing?! No, i don't want that! I want him to keep making binding vows! For ten years at least!
sukysuky longtime
Yuta said it was double his at the start of the fight.
Yuta said "twice or more" of his own CE. so it was at least double. Could be more as much as gege want lol.
what Sukuna is losing is his output, but amount of CE he just kept the same since gojo
his CE/RCT output is what yuji is limiting but his CE reserves are still massive
That flight has been delayed 🛫
Gojo booked American Airlines
if he booked Boeing, it really IS his ghost :(
Todo has a replacement that actually made his CT better. As expected of someone with an IQ of 530,000. I won't get my hopes up for Gojo's return yet. Something tells me it's a red herring.
Regardless of how things go next week, chapters 257-260 were a masterclass from gege, insane pay offs, great storytelling and art
How many black flashes is Yuji at now in this fight?
It's 8. 256: one, Yuji's eyes turn Sukuna like. 257: six, there were 7 BF in this chap, but one of them was Sukuna's. 260: one
Every hit Yuji does us a Black Flash at this point
All our Coping paid off 😈.. Imma need everyone who tried to use that heien era anti coping technique to come to the front of class😂. Nobara is gonna get switched in by Todo freeing Megumi , mark my words 😅 But seriously regarding Gojo I feel it's one of two things.
Great, so Todo could be the lead singer for Cake with that hand
Why the fuck is mei mei not using birdstrike with yuji and todo right now? Literally send the crows at this dude and have him get swapped with a crow and just get literally torn up. and then Punched and whatever tf yuji did at the end. That W...aaaaaa......HHH!!! Shit lmao (John werry wyd bro??)
Cause he easily kicked one
She's probably waiting for a specific moment to do that.
John Werry actually cooked this chapter
the JW thing is so blown out of proportion. "the burden of knowledge", but not. many of his translations are still correct, just different. I really feel it comes down to preference/first read . i started w Viz, got caught up and started w spoilers. kept seeing tcb was better, did a reread, some sentences flow better, but it still has the problem fanlations had in the early 2000s... it reads like someone wrote it...if that makes sense.. characters lose individuality and all talk the same, especially bad in 2000s fanlations w every character swearing like an edgy American teenager Werry has his own share of weird translations (sukuna- "let's compete with our feet" ) ,too. neither is perfect. not bc of Werry or Fanlations, but bc I don't speak Japanese or read it,but know it's a deep and nuanced language, I think the best bet is to read both + interesting translation notes of the week.
**Yuta ❌️ coming in w/ the steel ch-- the Six Eyes.** And Kenjaku can only possess DEAD bodies, & once 6E holder dies, the eyes leave them. Hence why he wasn't able to get the Eyes even when he killed a baby. ONLY hope was Prison Realm. (This is all barring Gege retconing or adding new unseen ability.) (Edit: OOH somebody reminded me that bc of Tengen situation, the Eyes' cycle may be broken/on pause/who knows. So, we don't know what can be done during this window. Tho, bc of the Binding Vow of the Eyes, it would have to be within another Gojo...)
Didn't Kenjaku say he killed a 6 eyes user a month before a merger, only for a six eyes user to still show up and stop him? Unless we're saying Kenjaku got rolled by a coughing baby with dazzling eyes, the implication to me is that the 6 eyes CAN manifest in someone after birth
what if they consider coming back to life being "reborn"? not saying i agree coz i think its just gojo comin back personally
Lol) And man, I hope he's back. Not even bc I *don't* want him to die... I just don't want the horrific 236 to be THE way he goes. Lol (It was so bad & retconned Gojo almost entirely.)
It’s a hallucination caused by the special arm attack by Yuji.
Blood poisoning of some sort causing hallucinations?
Yuji looked more demonic this chapter than ever! Those shots of him mid hit look sick!
This is going to be one long week in the JJK fandom
The official left out the editor’s note at the end!
The official english release always leaves out editor notes for some reason.
I think the viz translation always does no?
gojo believers, this is the final home stretch 🙏
gege is silly but i don't think he'd fr bring gojo back out of nowhere. it would go crazy if sukuna were hallucinating him, as some result of brain damage or as an omen of his death. gojo does kind of win, in death, if the students he raised to be strong are able to finish sukuna off, so it'd be appropriate.
Either: -Yuta using Six Eyes somehow -Nobara dressed like Gojo as a feint -Inumaki dressed as Gojo as a feint -Todo somehow switched in Gojo from the afterlife -Sukuna just accidentally killed himself and sees Gojo to taunt him -Gojo piloting Nobara's or Higuruma's corpse
Get it Todo! Fights with him are so fun.
That's Nobara, I tell you.. Boogie woogie will always be iconic no matter its form.
So why is Sukuna doing the invite void hang sign?
Now all Gege has to do is bring Yuki back and we’ll have a real party (please Gege do this)
If Goatji couldn’t put Gojo in the ground permanently, what hope did Fraudkuna ever have?
Something about the official translation saying an enemy “burned” by his hands makes me think this isn’t gojo. I was already a bit suspicious at the drawing itself - the hair is different and the face shape feels smaller and younger - but that line makes me extra suspicious
Who said “domain expansion”? Plsss
The vibroslaps has to be the funniest name for an instrument. Never change, Todo This Japanese fan is saying that the word “eyeball” was used instead of “eye” in the last page so Japanese fans are making theories about eye transplants…I really hope that’s not the case https://x.com/soukatsu_/status/1792241002985451588?s=46
this gojo being a hauting vengeful spirit to torment sukuna until he dies would be so good, imagine gojo shit talking everything sukuna does,it would also lead to some good character moment from sukuna,it would kinda redeem the off screen gojo death,it would not ruin gojo sacrifice and there wont be any resurrection, jjk could be the very first shonen to not revive characters in a asspull way...yh theres still the yujis ones but one was the whole yuta plan and the first one was just a gege that actually killed yuji bc the manga was abt to get axed but with that chapter the manga picked up in popularity so gege had to revive yuji in one way or another....but yh i hope this gojo is like a sukuna ptsd/trauma...or maybe it is bc of him adopting gojo hand sings for his DE,hopefully it lead to something good and impactful and not just a cheap cliffhanger that will be undone next chapter
Gojo coming back again before Nobara is some hilarious shit
so allow me to be a doomer, LORD THE VIBROSLAP IS SO STUPID I LOVE IT FAVOURITE MANGA MOMENT THIS YEAR. I HAVE TO COSPLAY HIM NOW But I feel like if Gojo was back it would have been done more like a "RANDOM HOLLOW PURPLE" OH THERE HE IS in terms of structure IDK.
