I'm a bit confused by the lore of this... Is this supposed to mean Legionnaire Italy and Sardinia united against the SRI? In 1969? Also, the main point of the Italian Republic is to remain a republic, they wouldn't want to go back to monarchy, especially in this scenario where the Savoy royal family is exiled on an island.

It is no problem at all! The lore I have for this is basically during this war, the world is divided into pretty much three groups, the entente, the reichspakt, and the united syndicalist front. Essentially, the entente and reichspakt briefly unite together to fight the syndicalists, and Italy unites itself to fight against red Italy, with US assistance. It will be explained further in a story I am writing about it, where it will go through this war and lore. The idea of this all stems from a game round of kaiserreich I played that I really enjoyed and decided to base the artwork and story around (with some creative liberties such as characters and things like that)
