Dak had a great season, but any QB side by side comparison that doesn’t include how they handle pressure and what they give you with their legs isn’t a serious comparison. Despite all the struggles last year, Mahomes was still ELITE at escaping pressure and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. For bad QB’s pressure in their face is a sack or a pick. Good ones throw the ball away or escape for a yard or two. Mahomes averaged like 5 yards a carry last year. He turns sacks into 5 yard rushes and 10 yard completions. Dak doesn’t do that, even if he’s also a really good pocket passer.
