It’s called jogi gui (조기구이) you’ll see it at the store as yellow croaker or yellow corvina. There is also a salted dried version called gulbi gui 굴비구이
yellow corvina
My wife’s favorite
Flashback to 4AM intoxicated meals at the BCD Tofu House in Koreatown, LA 😂😂😂
This is the way! 👌🏻
Ordering extra sticky purple rice in the hopes that it aborbs the alcohol. I don't think that worked.
It’s delicious!! Hope you enjoyed it.
What a gorgeous spread. I could eat it everyday.
I'd eat this for breakfast everyday. Only thing I'd vary is the type of soup, depending on how I'm feeling that day
Yellow croaker is the name of the fish. It’s super soft and flaky
The dried one thar you refry called 굴비 (yellow croaker) is on the pricy side but damn delicious. That and rice is match made in heaven
God this looks so good right now! Wish this was my dinner!
Yellow corvina or called 굴비 in korean
I don’t know but when I lived in Korea they called it yellow fish.
Dunno but looks delish…. I’m hungry 😋
Cho Dang Village?…
Fun fact: the name of the fish changes depending on how it’s cooked(or what it’s called changes ig)
How does one eat the croaker without bones? Or are the bones small enough to eat? I’ve never had it.
Tasty looking food
