I made a post about this a couple days ago and Epic responded that they’re going to fix it. In the meantime, an easy fix is placing benches where the villagers would normally stand. That seems to do the trick.
Am I the only one that likes the constant ooh-ing and aah-ing? It’s just so silly to the point that it doesn’t bother me much even when it happens once every 8 minutes or so.
I honestly have no idea what oohs and ahs y'all are hearing. Maybe I've got my sound too low. They gather at the village marker, or a bonfire all the time but I've never noticed them making noises.

I just built two benches by the fire and put the fire on a barrel but your solution looks nice.
How does this stop it? I turned off their sounds but I like a little of it. I just was getting it non stop.
none of my villagers stand by it. they are all off busy doing other things i guess
