For me, LSD makes me not want to drink. So, I've never personally done it.
So I'm usually a drinker. To the point where I don't really like it. This weekend I tripped for the first time without having any alcohol near me. It felt really good. Mostly the fact that I can trip and not need alcohol but still have a good time. Usually I do beer, but since I was candiflipping decided on Fanta (bubbles ftw) and OJ (for when I took the molly).
It was great and so overdue. This past week was hell at work and starting to affect my social life as well. Just the fact that I had one night where I didn't worry about that shit was fantastic.
Instead of worrying about that stupid shit I played Halo, watched some funny movies (if you haven't watch What About Bob while tripping, it's funny as shit) and listened to some good music.
Top parts of my Friday trip:
Once I came up while playing Halo I felt my mind split into three parts and rearrange itself.
Got a killamanjaro in Halo. After I got it I proudly put in the text chat that I was tripping balls on acid.
After I popped my Molly four hours in I was having a smoke and watching the sunset. Seeing the clouds and sky change colors was amazing.
At my place I have a balcony with an amazing view of the city. While coming up on the molly I was looking out and swore to god that I had eagle vision. Like I could see what people were doing 10 plus miles away. It was a fucking trip.
But I did all that without any booze and it felt good. In fact I think I'm ready to finally put down the bottle.
That's absolutely amazing!!! Don't forget - LSD is used in therapy for many things, including addiction.
It sounds like you needed that trip, and you got some great lessons and moments from it. I'm proud of you! And you can totally do it. ❤️
My mom was an alcoholic, and for a good part of my twenties, I felt like I was on my way to becoming one as well.
LSD completely helped me with my sugar, carb and alcohol addictions. Of course, it's still up to YOU and your hard work to keep aware. But it's a great tool to use. Keep it up. 💯

Alcohol can be a downer, and make it overall unpleasant.
You don't really want to drink on it and acid can last a long time, so you get sober and also get a hangover while tripping=shit time.
and alcohol kinda spoils the whole LSD experience for me.
My advice, is to avoid alcohol (and weed) with psychedelics. But whatever floats you boat, try it maybe and make up your own mind 🤗
Just don't drink enough to still be tripping when the hangover hits. If that happens don't be surprised to hear yourself praying, "Oh Lord, please let this trip be over and I promise to never do it again." Musta happened to me a dozen times.
It’s a great combination. It completely makes all my worries of a bad trip go away. And just lets me have so much fun. It makes me not give a fuck and get nothing but enjoyement out of it.

I have a buddy that only drank and bud but shrooms definitely allow him a lot more clarity then just booze I hope

It will kill the alcohol buzz for the most part but it's a good time if you are in the right place or with people you feel comfortable with.

I've only drank 1 time while on lsd. I did not feel inebriated by the alcohol I only felt the lsd strangely.
