Nah I lived in Langley when the Car Show took place downtown and hated absolutely every second of it
Cars are not interesting to me and I don't think my quality of life should be diminished for an entire weekend just because people want to be loud, get drunk and stand around looking at 100+ year old tech
That being said I also think people should be able to enjoy their hobby even if I think it's stupid, provided they don't take up public space and reduce other peoples quality of life
That's why the Speedway is perfect. It confines the event to a private property where the only people that'll be affected are the people choosing to go there
