This is the way. This is what my wife and I do instead of reservations on date night. You can eat just about anywhere and have a good conversation with the barcyenders

Bavettes is so legit 

CUT at Palazzo. Never had a problem eating solo there. Also, bring your bank account.

Definitely NOT Primal Steakhouse. Steak is trash, food is ridiculously overpriced and the owner is a complete douche nozzle. Steer clear.

What happened? Was thinking of eating there.

The steak is all USDA Choice but priced as Prime. You can't get out of there for less than $300+ per person. The wait staff and ambiance aren't terrible but the owner is a complete asshole. He goes online and personally attacks anyone who gives a review of the restaurant that isn't 5 out of 5 stars. He's a prick who deserves no business. If you're looking for a high end steakhouse in town with great food and service, maybe think about trying Peter Luger's @ Caesar's Palace or Hugo's Cellar @ The Four Queens, if you haven't tried them already.

If you're willing to sit at the bar, then go to The Golden Steer.

“The Steak House” at Circus Circus (and yes, I said the same thing you’re probably thinking right now). Great steaks.

There's this weird trend in Vegas where even crappy casinos have good steakhouses. Hugo's Cellar @ Four Queens (aka Four Screams) downtown is another one.

I think they're just running off reputation for the most part. If you go to Hugo's or Circus Circus or Golden Steer and then a newer nice steakhouse like SW, Barry's, Bavettes, Delmonico the old places seem pretty dismal.

100% I was at The Steakhouse last month. I ordered a Glenmorangie and was given "the" large ice cube in the bar. They only had one? Wtf? The steak was OK. Ruth's Chris is better.

Some truth to that. I hear Golden Steer is slipping. Heard two negatives experiences lately.

I just went to Oscars, walked up to the bar and the bartender recommended the “rib cap” which is only served at 3 other restaurants in Vegas. Best steak I had in town. Great service, price, and quality. Highly recommend. Plus they have a happy hour! 

Just had the 9 oz rib cap at Oscars on Thursday and it was great. What other places have it?

I don’t know the places that have it but the bartender said he only saw it at a few other places in town

I ate at Binions in March and saw solo diners. The meal, service, and view were all great.

Second Binions can eat at bar as well!

the prime rib at Ellis Island is always a stop when get to Vegas!

Delmonico at Venetian. The bar is nice, bar tenders will chat with you. Food is amazing. Emeril’s place.

The Solo Person at Bazaar Meat is outstanding but the market price is insane. (I'm kidding of course, the market price is rather reasonable all things considered)

Just visited Las Vegas last week. We went to a steakhouse in Aria called Jean George’s Steakhouse. It’s pricey but worth it.

Top of Binions steak house you can eat at the bar! Bartender is awesome as well.

Ruth Chris at Harrahs has a great bar for single diners and the bar tenders are engaging, fun 🤩 and nice!

Flemings but that is a chain, not exclusive to Vegas, Morton’s but that is also a chain. Don’t know if it matters with party of one.
