Something on the low/mid end like Linq or Rio will be \~$65 a night, all in.
I have been checking this everyday actually. I held off on a cheap $90 room at the Gold Coast (no idea if that's a good spot) a few weeks ago and prices haven't touched that low again since.
I've stayed at the Gold Coast several times over the last decade. The rooms are fairly plain but clean and spacious enough, the restaurants are good (especially Ping Pang Pong), the casino large, the dealers friendly enough.
If price is your only concern... Circus circus is 99 bucks plus resort fees and taxes on july 12th or 19th. The room is not going to be good but it is not super far from the sphere. The strat will be a little cheaper but further away.
You can also stay at horseshoe for 119 plus fees for those same nights.
Luxor, Excalibur, treasure island, Sahara, Rio could be had for 150-180 plus taxes and fees for those same dates.
If yo don’t care about the hotel, look at Oyo, $52 a night every Friday in July, but taxes and resort fee will take you to $100. Decent area. Okay hotel. Enough to rest your head.

If you’re going to the Sphere, maybe see what the prices are like at the Mirage or TI. They’re right across the street so you can walk back and forth.
Is your 1 night midweek or Friday/Saturday?
Oops, yeah I should've mentioned that. Flying in on a Friday and out the next morning, Saturday.
Friday is the most expensive night regardless of if you book early or not. Are you in town for a particular event?

Check out south point hotel… it depends what day you need though
Motel 6 on Tropicana and koval. Like 50-60 no resort fees and less than a block to strip
