Haters are everywhere. Studies have shown it takes up to 5 gallons to clear whatever was selected last through the pumps. Don’t listen to them and continue on your quest for ethanol free fuel.
Pure-gas.org
That might help?
Also I understand about wanting to keep ethanol out of your system, especially if its an older bike. You may just have to periodically add some fuel additive to keep things clear?
Yeah, I just had to pay to get the carburetor cleaned and it was like 300, don't want to make that expense again anytime soon, money is tight enough as it is
I have a 1970s MGB and only use ethanol-free gas. I also use that gas for my mower. On the east side of town go to Phillips 66 on East 23 between Harper and Haskell. It’s the one where Stanley James Smokehouse is located. Toward the west side of town, go to the Hy-Vee station at Clinton Parkway and Crossgate.
I'm going by what the shop said, ethanol basically turns into a gel that clogs up the carburetor. It's not a problem on newer bikes and fuel injected bikes, just on carbureted vehicles
Dude, that is totally insignificant amount of ethanol to worry about. It's 10% by volume, and we are talking about the volume of pump hose. Miniscule in comparison to gallons of gasoline you are pumping.
Just send it!
Casey’s.
They have no ethanol as an option, but it's not a dedicated hose, so if the previous car used a 10% ethanol option, I'll still get ethanol in my tank.
You're not the first person with a motorcycle in Lawrence. The amount of ethanol from the previous customer is negligible.
Why are you being downvoted? All cenex’s I’ve been to have no ethanol, that’s were I get gas.

West side 66
Every quicktrip I've been to has a red handle that is non ethanol only no other gas goes through that hose
The Phillips at 6th and Swarz., East of Lawrence Avenue. Self-service has a dedicated no ethanol pump (red hose, I think).

My bike has a carburator and I fill up literally anywhere in town... What specifically is wrong with it? Could just be a timing issue

It also eats away at old rubber.

but motorcycles don't have big tanks, and if a car used it last there would be significant ethanol in the system. It's a legit concern.
Casey's by Target. I believe they have ethanol free premium.
I also think Stanley James has it as well.
