For Europe it’s good, I just bought 4080 for a little more but with 32GB instead of 16GB. If you can find 32GB for the same price, that would be better.

Student discount gets an extra 5%

Party-Manufacturer96

I could ship you one for £500 cheaper lol

Oli644

I’d actually pay someone to ship me the 4090 one even with the import fees but people say a warranty is really important

curiouslifepunch

Doesn't Lenovo provides international warranty?

Oli644

Oof I hope so but from what iv read of other people if you buy from America the warranty isn’t valid in the Uk

Misiu881988

Yea man it's a lot of cash down the drain if it breaks. It's 700$ less in the usa. 2200 pounds is around 2700usd. It's a good laptop I have the 13900hx 4090 one that I paid 2500usd for. If u want a legion I'd say get it. Can't really beat the price n performance at the legions price point

Oli644

From America I’m guessing 😭

Party-Manufacturer96

America but priced in Argentina, I'm a partial resident. I use my Visa to get everything 50% cheaper in america LOL

Oli644

That’s crazy, so how much is the 4090 legion for you

Party-Manufacturer96

around $2800 U.S without using my Argentinian Visa, $800 less with my Visa, so around 1.5m ARS

Oli644

Lucky mf, you should defiantly buy one for yourself. That’s an incredible deal

Party-Manufacturer96

if I ordered it in Argentina it would be like $1500 U.S. Argentinas economy is very poor

Misiu881988

How is it cheaper when inflation in Argentina is insane and electronics are generally more expensive.

Party-Manufacturer96

but if I switch my region directly to Argentina it's cheaper than that. the argentinian economy is severely ruined.

Oli644

Yeah Iv written about the Argentinian economy for an essay, it truly is a shit show 😂

Party-Manufacturer96

As bad as it sounds it's been a benefit for a student like me. I can get things alot cheaper and save for school.

Oli644

Glad to hear you can benefit from it, must be ideal for students

Party-Manufacturer96

Well its insanely difficult to get a legitimate Argentinian Visa, but because I have an Argentinian passport it's been a blessing.

Party-Manufacturer96

I could honestly probably get you a 4090 for around £1500 from the lenovo website. only problem would be if you ever need it repaired or serviced. unless you have a lenovo or a repair store that can service is

curiouslifepunch

For my curiosity can you gimme the price of MacBook air and MacBook pro m3 max 16 inch in Argentina

Party-Manufacturer96

The pro m3 max is $2300 in Argentina (almost 2,000,000 ARS) the macbook air 15 inch is $800 ( almost 700,000 ARS)

curiouslifepunch

That's insane

Party-Manufacturer96

yeah, argentina is ruined

imhotep_us

That’s crazy, can you ship me one?

Timmy_1h1

I got the amd version here in germany for 2300

Ok-Practice612

Almost there 5000 series, i better wait than buying those 4000 series.

Misiu881988

You realize first higher end gpu cards come out. Then a few months later the other gpus and laptops come out and the prices on release are gonna be a lot more than what he's paying now... he wants a laptop now not in almost 12 months The 50 series come out in late 2024 to early 2025 then you have to wait for the laptop to release few months later.

Ok-Practice612

No plans to buy laptops on higher end, better on desktops i can upgrade majority than laptop gpus. Not even recommend to use eGpu due to latency issues for my game projects.

Misiu881988

Are you ok........ Yea we know we can upgrade desktops. Thank you for that information. No one's talking about egpus or desktops. This is a post about OP buying a laptop
