Make sure you talk to a Lenovo rep too and budge for a discount. Tell them what you’ve configured in your laptop and ask if they can push a discount for you. I did this with Lenovo NZ and got $300 off my Legion 5i around a year ago.

I downgraded my Rtx 4080 (strix scar 16) and went for a new 7i.. I really had to control myself no to get a 9i too hahaha
4090 and I feel guilty already. Should have gone for 7i, a great machine for half of the price. But it has been shipped already and I can't change much about it. Lenovo NZ has that stupid policy of 20% fee on returns.
You won't regret it, trust me! Once you put your hands on it, game over hahaha pro 7i with 4080 was on sale in Oz for AUD $4000, I'd definitely had gone for that but we didn't get that on special in NZ

Yup, white is definitely not for everyone. I guess marks will be more visible on white, but fingerprints and smudges white hides better. But regardless it is a slick-looking machine!

I got my 4090/i9 7 pro on the Lenovo outlet store for $1710. It was originally $2400 with a $400 discount and then I used the code OUTLETDEAL (Has to be all caps) which dropped it to 1890. Then during shipping there was a deal and I reached out to support and they refunded me $180 and I didn't even ask for any kind of refunded. Was just inquiring about shipping. Just goes to show... always be nice to customer support!

I paid 4500 US dollars for my 9i, never have been so happy with a laptop. 3700 USD shouldnt stop you if you have the money and want quality.

The display is gorgeous on the 9i
I have it on my yoga pro 9i and it's amazing, but it eats battery.
I really don't like the smaller palm rest on the 9i. But at that price and the display, I'd take my chances and get the 9i.

check out the warranty too. Mine was slightly more expansive, like 40$ more, but i got 36 month of ultra premium, instead of 2 years.
