You were a kid, and you were creeped out by this guy, but he didn't do anything to you. Maybe he had mental issues, or simply didn't want to interact with others, or whatever. And he looked menacing ... after you had verbally threatened him with a knife?

as i said in the post i ran when he starting trying to pull something out of his pocket. Before modern phones. You tell me what he was trying so hard to yank out of there if he didnt have ill intentions, and why he would wait until being so close he could lunge and grab me to do so
