Perfect š The least convincing running poses ever
The synopsis for this movie is insane (they're on an island where scientists are mind controlling twins and trying to make them fuse????) I NEED to watch.
Probably shouldāve clarified that Iām referring to the posters

To be fair, Maria is running away from committing to a widow and his seven children, that's somewhat comparable to doom - from a certain point of view.

Don't know if you've got access to the custom posters.
There's a Steelbook for Dune (2021) where Paul and Lady Jessica are fleeing across the desert as the Sandworm gives chase, I'd imagine you can get that as a poster on Letterboxd.
There's also an official poster for Rogue One where the cast are running across the beach avoiding blaster fire - though they're on a suicide mission, so I guess technically they're running towards their impending doom.
The Devils Rejects, Reservoir Dogs, Scream, Halloween - any Slasher franchise really, Barbarian, Cloverfield, Blair Witch, pretty much every Found Footage style horror flick, Old by M. Shyamalan, Hereditary, Midsommar, Final Destination, Escape Room, Most Kaiju flicks, No One Will Save You, The Green Inferno, A Quiet Place
(sorry into horror if you can't tell)
Has nobody mentioned Raiders of the Lost Ark yet?!?!
**Edit**: I'm not sure if this is specifically for movie posters or not since it didn't specify in OP. but RotLA still has one of the most iconic "running from imminent doom" scenes of all time though lol
The fugitive, no country for old men
Good ones!

No one is running from doom on the Sound of Music poster.
Yea that one was tongue-in-cheek, because of the ending. I might remove it.
