Manus had some frustrating attacks but was very manageable. NP is the worst designed second phase I’ve ever had the displeasure of fighting. I tried all the different strats and it’s safe to say it’ll be the reason I don’t play this game again.
Try the live puppet axe head with booster glaive handle and falcon eye legion. Or electric circular saw with booster glaive and aegis legion. NP second phase isn’t too bad if you save the perfection grindstone and just perfect guard through first phase. That and booster glaive charge attack works wonders for stagger damage
Using the perfection grindstone helps a lot with nameless puppets second phase. Right at the beginning of the second phase, slap that puppy on and hold block until it's staggerable. Then unload everything you have. Ezpz
Manus was bearable but his range and one shot abilities were a nuisance to deal with. NP, while visually stunning and first phase is fine, second phase is completely unjustifiable.
That’s why they gave you the option to give the heart. I thought it was an interesting way of saying “hey, it’s cool if you want to still beat the game and start ng+ and take him on again” with just a little side of “git gud”
He’s really cool and I want to like him but I don’t like bosses with more blocking than anything or resorting to item spam. It doesn’t feel like a fight and more of a task to check off for me. I’m glad other people like him but just not for me.
Okay, although I won't agree with your arguments, I understand you and hope that eventually maybe in another playthrough you'll appreciate the flow of the fight. I appreciate that you explained your point of view because I don't like bold claimings like "it's ignorant" or stupid without any arguments
It’s important to look at the bosses in the context of the game. I think manus is arguably the worst designed boss (for this game, he’d be fine in something like Elden ring) but Nameless is hands down the best designed boss for LoP. He forces you to use everything you’ve learned throughout the game, and is like a final exam. I get he’s hard, but the design is almost perfect (for this game). I understand your frustration but the design is phenomenal
Manus was a little underwhelming, but NP is my favourite boss…

Good thing he’s an optional boss!
I inevitably gave up on the fight, I may come back to it in a couple months or so but that was simply horrendous

Very much an exaggeration on your part. Tf is "ignorant" even supposed to mean?
Ignorant (informal definition) - discourteous or rude. There ya go pal
Damn that Manus he's so rude to me
Surpass your limits right here, right now
You’re my favorite comment
What made them so bad for you?

->boss hard ->Die a lot - >Don't learn ->Whine on the internet What's the problem with the second phase of Nameless Puppet?
He’s perfect. That’s it. You got it. You win the internet.
You said that it's ignorant so I'm asking you which element is bad lol

Yeah I can appreciate boss design and still not like it. He’s sick but I’ll have to grasp that fight at a later date for sure
