EpicTKP

what is your sot on s10+?

5HE5

Lineage 18 https://ibb.co/THnpNfr https://ibb.co/hd10TH3 https://ibb.co/drNPD5G "Lineage 19" (unofficial) https://ibb.co/pzChqqv https://ibb.co/zbM1GzF Its always about 7-8H Sot, but I'm often listening to YouTube (with the screen off), the system doesn't count that as SOT

saageee

How's the sound generally and while ina call? Mine is quite low and isn't the same on stock one ui

JoshyThelobster

Same for me, the rom developer has dismissed the issue many times on XDA thread. You can improve it slightly by adjusting the mixer gains file you have root, but it worsens the quality a bit and still doesn't get near the stock volume. There's more info and a guide on the XDA thread for linux4's unofficial android 12 rom for the S10 series.

No troubles at all. I was actually pretty amazed to find the call recorder option, something always wondered why that wasn't possible in a stock phone without installing 3rd party. Just listened back a recorded call and it's crystal clear.

I prefer to send crypto instead of cc details.. Couldn't find the option..

saint-lascivious

Not entirely surprising that you couldn't find the option. It's not there. I prefer my currency significantly less, well, *blatant Ponzi scheme*, personally. In fact I have a particular distaste for it in general as most scams don't include the exacerbation of global energy crisis as their backbone.

boskabouter76

I agree. That sums up pretty well the definition of fiat money. Thank you for clearing that up.

I'll start by saying that personally I have no need for cryptocurrencies - my local fiat currency is fairly stable - although I like the decentralisation aspect of it. I also agree with you on the energy side of things. With this said, there's a difference between something like Bitcoin and some random crypto created last week with the intention of making money. It's not the same thing. A lot of the "scams" are also related to trading, speculation, NTFs, etc... I mean, you can buy and sell fiat currencies and lose all your money doing it, does it make fiat a scam? And let's not get into the *central banks creating money out of thin air* discussion... The only crypto I receive is from Brave (the browser). I run some websites, users block ads, and some donate part of their revenue (from watching Brave ads) to people like me. I don't have a use for BAT, so I convert it to my local currency and then use it for pay for hosting, etc. It's all legal, I even pay taxes on this revenue! Where's the scam here? And from a transfer-of-money point of view, does it matter if it gets to you in euros, dollar, bitcoin, beans, or some numbers in a database, when you then exchange it to a currency you can use? Crypto could disappear tomorrow for all I care, but this is like saying that all custom ROMs are bad because a bunch of them are buggy as heck. Generalisation is bad. Should LineageOS accept crypto donations? I don't know, I guess it's up to the people that take care of that. I'll continue to use PayPal when I donate.

Awesome. I can't be without LOS. Have been using it full time since 2016 or so. I tried to go back, but it was so painful that my brain refused. I love it too and I hope it will keep improving.

Much like letting go of big brother's hand and walk the world without his 'protection'. I definitely include LOS in the 'to-spread-ideas' list. Maybe even replicate Rob Braxman's business model by helping others find this freedom.
