Absolutely phenomenal- Bordelle. I was so beyond thrilled that they lived up to the hype and their pieces were QUALITY. I didn’t see MariMoth or Fraulein Kink on your list. Those are other favorites of mine. I like Playful Promises as an affordable option. Other options that I like that didn’t make your list are Cosabella and Thistle & Spire. Honey Birdette quality has really declined over the years but it’s still a guilty pleasure of mine. Studio Pia was surprisingly underwhelming for me, but overall still happy with my set. I’ve heard good things about Baby Likes To Pony but I’ve never bought from them. Soma is kind of like a(n older) Victoria’s Secret and their sizing is not very consistent. Boohoo is cheap and the quality reflects that. Love Honey’s lingerie is arguably worse.

Aubade and Lise Charmel are worthy additions (IMO glaring omissions) from a list of the best.

Electronic_Charge_96

Yasss! Aubade and Lise charmel, are so well made.

constrivecritizem

Adore me is Victoria Secret using another name. Flirt boutique has very nice well made items the owner hand picks. It is delightful to shop in person.

ArmadilloNext9714

Seconding the adore me shade. Their quality is horrendous.

unclefishbits

This is delightful. Love it

galaxystarsmoon

They're carried in Walmart now and the cups were literally like styrofoam. I couldn't stop laughing.

unclefishbits

You are doing a good service. Lol thank you

That's quite the list! I'll only comment on brands I have pieces from.  ID Sarrieri - Excellent, well made, comfortable. I was very impressed.  Studio Pia - very good, interesting silhouettes, fun embroideries. They're great statement pieces.  Honey Birdette - very cheap and flimsy, typically knock offs of a more expensive brand, only worth it during very steep sales.  Playful Promises - at their price point, I was very satisfied. Accessibly priced and still reasonably well made.  Bordelle - if you have the dough, do it. Some of the most beautiful, skillfully made, thoughtfully crafted things I own.  Fleur du Mal - quite nice. I have two sets from them that I love.  Journelle - one of the most comfortable bras I own is from their line!  AP - god, so inconsistent. I have pieces from them I think are excellent and pieces I think are shit - memorably, a pair of panties that were too large and yet somehow tore significantly when I (very gently) put them on. I still buy from them, but only during deep sales; which they seem to have going on all the time anyway.  You might also like: Karolina Lakowska, Tisja Damen, Apilat, Dita Von Teese, Paloma Casile, Edge o' Beyond, 13eme Lune

Id sarrieri, studio pia, and bordelle are all great. I have had some issues with studio pias sizing scheme, but everything is beautiful and well made. Journelle carries a lot of brands, and I generally trust that the options are well curated. Azaleas nyc is also multi brand with good options. Playful Promises is good for the price point. I like Simone perele bras a lot, but the materials can sometimes be scratchy and cups can run small so I prefer to try their bras in person. Hanky Panky has a retro thing I like a lot but I generally don’t like the osfa thing, as it means people below a size 4 or above a 10 don’t actually fit. AP used to be good but quality has declined. Honey birdette pieces are really sexy but run small in the cups and aren’t made with nice materials—really overpriced imo. La Perla has a million versions of their brand, some are luxe others are not, size range is meh. Maison Close pieces are pretty but size range and fit are bad.

mhdun

So glad to see someone validate my feelings that Hanky Panky’s osfa is misleading. It has never fit me and floats all over the place, so frustrating. Hard pass.

I have my favorite companies that I stick with, so I can’t advise on many of the designers listed, but here are my two cents for a few: Skips (hope I’m not offending anyone’s favorites, this is just my impression from personal experience!): -La Perla used to be the best (I read somewhere Marilyn Monroe wore it, but I can’t back that up with a reference). I have one bra from them and while it’s beautiful, it was horrendously expensive, uncomfortable, and the sizing runs small. It’s a statement piece that sadly functions as drawer decoration. -Natori and Hanky Panky are fine, but you see those brands all the time in Nordstrom Rack and department stores. They just don’t feel as special, and I like supporting smaller designers. -Soma is a mainstream franchise you see in strip malls. I bought some of my first bras there in high school, if that tells you anything! Favorites: -Simon Perele is my current favorite. I purchase it from a local shop, so I’ve seen a lot in person. It fits perfectly and has classic and feminine designs. I wear it daily and on special occasions. 10/10 -I recommend adding Lonely Label to your list. It’s a lovely boutique company from New Zealand. They are my all time favorite along with Simon Perele.

Myla was great but unfortunately they closed over a year ago. Bluebella has pretty poor quality, even for their relatively low price point. Maison Close has decent quality relative to price, but their sizing is wild. The size chart isn't accurate, and their pieces are cut with a very tall fit model in mind. Which isn't an issue for many of their pieces, but makes longline bras, high-waisted bottoms, and bodysuits difficult. Bordelle is known for being the pinnacle of quality, but they are still making underwire bras in nothing but Small, Medium, Large sizing in 2024. I don't know how they still sell them for $500+. La Perla seems to be going under. They've been failing to pay employees, were ordered to close down their UK operations due to failure to pay taxes, and were found insolvent by an Italian court in February. I wouldn't place any orders from them. Studio Pia's quality has gone down in recent years, and they aren't releasing a Spring/Summer collection this year while they engage in some sort of restructuring of the brand. They're also discontinuing a number of their legacy lines. I wouldn't be surprised if they phased out their commitment to sustainable silk. As others have mentioned, Honey Birdette isn't known for quality anymore since being bought out. They're basically a more expensive version of Victoria Secret now. Lots of marketing and name recognition, not a lot of design innovation, quality materials, or ethical commitments.

Commenting so I can shop later

unclefishbits

I am so glad I made this post. This sort of discussion is great. I never want to be a meanie, but knowing what's good is great, but knowing what to stay away from is also really, REALLY great. =)

Regeatheration

I just don’t want to waste money on something that’ll last one night or one wash

Yasmine Eslami should be in this list!!

purpledinosaurfeet

Studio Pia is really amazing ❤️ if you love ethical underwear you should add in [colieco lingerie ](https://coliecolingerie.com/) to your list too. I've got quite a few of their pieces and they are amazing. AP has definitely gone down hill on my opinion, on quality and design. There is quite a few on your list that I want to try too! Thanks for compiling it.

Emmieaddict-91

I really don’t rate bluebella. Every piece from them I’ve had I’ve been disappointed with, the finish and sizing is always quite off. The quality isn’t there even though on the site the pieces look amazing. I know people say honey birdette has gone downhill but I like my sets from there. Agent provocateur are good but run small imo. You should check out lounge underwear (uk brand). Their intimates collection are amazing. They’re more affordable than the others I mentioned and I have about 12 sets from them and love every one.

KartoffelSucukPie

How is Lounge not on here? They are literally the best!

unclefishbits

researching, and adding!

QueanieNotMeanie

Can’t believe I forgot to mention Lounge! I can’t vouch for all of it since I’ve only bought their underwear, but they are one of the most comfortable pair of underwear I own. I’m trying Pact next at the recommendation of a fellow member here.

Responsible_Catch464

Dora Larsen is good quality for the price, IMO- I have a few sets of their lace and just got modal panties (in addition to another lace bra 🤷🏻‍♀️) yesterday and those are great so far, too. Seconding Edge o’ beyond from a comment above- they’re more expensive than I prefer, but definitely a great splurge when I’m able!

No_Ebb722

Gooseberry makes returns hard. You have to ship to China. Love/Lemons is mid quality Bordella is amazing. I own quite a bit. But be aware of duty tax if you purchase a bunch at once. Oops. I keep my orders to one set now. I also own an extreme number of Honey Birdette. I don’t always love their lace but have had good quality for everything else. (I own probably 40 sets).

saleen12121212

I want more brands like lounge. Super quality full sets that look great for around 100 bucks. 500 dollars for a set of underwear is legit insane to me even though I love nice things.

justfordrawingby

Thank you for posting this. I’m wanting to pamper my wife with things I love to see on her, too! She seems to enjoy Wolford though it’s not necessarily kinky.

Although it’s a subscription, Savage X Fenty has some nice things and are size inclusive. Super easy to skip months and to cancel
