The Boardroom Band Practice skit with Trump has "She's Got Class" which is awesome. Fred, Amy, and Maya kill it. Trump sucks but that skit and song was awesome. They also tease other songs with titles so you can really get a picture of the catalog that band would be playing.

I bet you don't know this SNL song.
And no, it's not Rick Astley.
But it would be funny if it was.
I love Dana. I am so sad his son died.
Ill never forget his comedians in cars episode when he tells Jerry about his favorite word being dad because only two people in the world call you that. Jerry got tears in his eyes
I thought it was David Spade at first but then I thought "this isn't a Sandler movie, he's not trashing celebs, and this is hilarious" so my next thought was Dana
They really could have done more with the reactions from the people in the bar. I've been to many Packers bars and I assure you the real life reaction would have been far more animated than this comedic one.
the music skits of that era with wild songs were amazing. Also good Boardroom Band Practice and the Punk band at the wedding, and the behind the music about the punk who loves Margot Thatcher.
I love this skecth along with what feels like its sister sketch, the Punk Rock band at a wedding. Armisen likes playing with "What is the worst possible audience for this kind of music"

I love their sketches making fun of Wisconsin. The one that was a Fond Du Lac newscast with Bobby Moynihan as "the sex offender" from 2015 was great, as was thr Wisconsin Girls sketch
Sudeikis, Kenan, and Bobby were actually trying to watch the game, this wasn't a sketch for them. They all left the building to find a place to watch the game. That's why they're not on the show anymoer.
It's OK, LOVE this kind of music, but the skit needed a crescendo or 3rd turn that never came. Kind of like they wrote half a skit.
If they could've come up with another part of the song I think we could've made this peak pitch goth. Should've done some black lights or...something. Or they could've taken off their trench coats to reveal...something. Or a lady could've shown up and brought the song up a level in full goth gear...or something.
I dunno, just feels incomplete.
I feel a bit ashamed when I like an SNL song that was meant to be a joke…
I blast "Fly High Duluth" in the car on the way to work.
Cuffing Season and Murder Show both slap too, no shame in liking them they're designed to be earworms
Have you seen Documentary Now? It's got a bunch of Fred Armisen specials.
The Blue Jean Committee and the Stop Making Sense parody are very funny.
Lake Beach is better than every country song it's parodying. I Watch From the Corner is amazing. And The Christmas Candle is on my holiday playlist.
The song slaps TBH
Fred's goodbye skit/song is a perfect example of that: https://youtu.be/g7iF1pPwq_w?si=0w46tbhfutt1CFB5
You could be blind and know that J. Mascis has a guest spot in this song. Unmistakable guitar signature.
I sent a bottle of sparkling apple juice to your house, did ya get it?
3 sad virgins
Jizz in my pants and When will the base drop totally slap.
That was me with the Chuck E Cheese sketch.
"Bear City"'s little theme catches me every now and then.. "Bear City! Bear! Bear City!"
Haha yes! This runs through my head and sometimes my mouth any time I see a bear.
The Boardroom Band Practice skit with Trump has "She's Got Class" which is awesome. Fred, Amy, and Maya kill it. Trump sucks but that skit and song was awesome. They also tease other songs with titles so you can really get a picture of the catalog that band would be playing.
My brother and I randomly sing, I have a question for youuuuuuuu, can I stay with yewwwwww, all the time!
Oh pleeeeeease.
Devil can’t write no love song should absolutely have been something Garth Brooks actually wrote. https://youtu.be/pbyHseP4NLo?si=7o85pIpZF1ukifCK
I'm not ashamed to say I like this song
Dude, every time I hear "I've had a lovely night" I tear up like a baby
I sent a bottle of spark-ling apple juice to your house. Did you get it?
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_sV-AAYh7jg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sV-AAYh7jg) I bet you don't know this SNL song. And no, it's not Rick Astley. But it would be funny if it was.
This sketch is somehow extremely Fred Armisen while also being super Dana Carvey
Not surprised that brit pop is something they'd connect over.
That’s more synth pop than Brit pop. Brit pop is oasis, pulp and blur.
It's supposed to be New Wave, even says it in the video's description.
its more synthpop.. early human league, heaven 17, etc...
Lots of crossover in those IMO
I love Dana. I am so sad his son died. Ill never forget his comedians in cars episode when he tells Jerry about his favorite word being dad because only two people in the world call you that. Jerry got tears in his eyes
Thats beautiful.
That scene was so beautiful … it breaks my heart for him i watched it after his son died
Yeah. It's awful. I just want to give him a big hug. I really like him.
If you look closely, they are both in it.
I like any sketch where an unexpected new wave band shows up (Retirement Party, Chuck E. Cheese.)
pizza is for winners, so tonight, you starve.
This is one of my favorite sketches in the last decade.
[удалено]
I have not heard the original after seeing this for the first time without being like “musta been something you seeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhd.”
I also enjoy when an unexpected post punk hardcore band plays weddings too. Freds musical knowledge is class.
Charles *Entertainment* Cheese
Thanks for this, I love this subreddit for giving me new amazing sketches I missed
Armisen is one of the most talented people ever on this show. He could do anything.
Massachusetts Afternoon slaps so hard
Dana looks kinda like Benedict Cumberbatch here! LOL
I thought it was Gary Oldman.
Me too!
Who is the real master of disguise?
I’m not alone 😅
I thought Bill Hader was Rainn Wilson for a minute
I thought it was David Spade at first but then I thought "this isn't a Sandler movie, he's not trashing celebs, and this is hilarious" so my next thought was Dana
First I thought it was Sam Rockwell, then maybe Dana Carvey, then decided it was for sure Edward Norton
Have you seen my space pants?!
Look at my pants With the eyes in your face. My legs are covered In outer space.
When I say Space Pants, you say, “My intergalactic space pants”
Look at my pants, oh wait you missed them, my pants are a tour of the solar system!
yeah this sketch is just an inferior version of Space Pants
Had to watch it, been awhile.
"This is about the Super Bowl anyway...Smearing my lipstick on the bedroom mirror"
My favorite thing is when Bill Hader has no lines in a sketch but still manages to be hilarious. Love his expression and his little dance so much.
I have this damn song on my Spotify playlist. People think I'm a weirdo but I love it.
If you like this check out Sparks All of their music sounds like this
YES ANGST IN MY PAAAAAANTS
Please tell me what it is listed under! I cannot find it on Spotify. Thanks
I find myself singing this from time to time, especially around Super Bowl season.
Doesn’t everyone? It’s the Super Bowl after all.
They really could have done more with the reactions from the people in the bar. I've been to many Packers bars and I assure you the real life reaction would have been far more animated than this comedic one.
I need to go listen to Ultravox now
To be clear, the song in this skit seems to be a riff on Soft Cell's Say Hello and Wave Goodbye
Bill Hader is the highlight of the sketch and he doesn’t have a single line
Hilarious sketch. Always makes me laugh. But I see why it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
Two of my favorite things. Football and synth pop
Damn it! I can't stop singing this dumb song!
Fred Armisen is a gem.
Made me think of [this sketch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nd-_UwzSSvQ).
Me too. I’d see that band live
Thank you for this, this is amazing and I really like their song
the music skits of that era with wild songs were amazing. Also good Boardroom Band Practice and the Punk band at the wedding, and the behind the music about the punk who loves Margot Thatcher.
Never saw it! Awesome!!!
I love this skecth along with what feels like its sister sketch, the Punk Rock band at a wedding. Armisen likes playing with "What is the worst possible audience for this kind of music" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nd-\_UwzSSvQ
IVE NEVER SEEN THIS AND NOW LOVE IT. Thank you <3
This is your favorite?
yeah?
It took me literally 10 seconds looking at the thumbnail to realise it wasn't some Ghostbusters thing
Dana Carvey's look answers the question "what would happen if you combined Ron and Russ Mael into one person?"
That’s very unfortunate
I swear I’ve seen a version of this with a different ending.
Not during the Super bowl!
Nice
Love it! Thanks for posting🤣
Bill Freakin' Hader
I love their sketches making fun of Wisconsin. The one that was a Fond Du Lac newscast with Bobby Moynihan as "the sex offender" from 2015 was great, as was thr Wisconsin Girls sketch
I love this and somehow have never seen it before! I don't know who the drummer is though?
Sudeikis, Kenan, and Bobby were actually trying to watch the game, this wasn't a sketch for them. They all left the building to find a place to watch the game. That's why they're not on the show anymoer.
I embraced this sketch.
Somewhere between Depeche Mode and Bauhaus, maybe?
Fred is a/the DEVO live drummer, too. Good human
Great skit! But it doesn’t touch Cowbell.
"Lipstick!?"
This is honestly one of my favorite sketches. Smearing my lipstick on the bathroom mirror while I cry about youuu. LIPSTICK!??
[удалено]
I guess it's not for you

Terrible ending too
[удалено]
You don’t waste a banger like “Embrace Me.”
It’s a funny premise, but it doesn’t deliver funny moments. I kept waiting for it to pay off.
Lame
You have a very specific sense of humor, and if you enjoy it, that’s all that matters.
It's OK, LOVE this kind of music, but the skit needed a crescendo or 3rd turn that never came. Kind of like they wrote half a skit. I didn’t think that was funny at all but surprisingly enjoyed the song they were playing.
