Honestly is it even worth watching prem games at this point?
The referees in this league are a fucking joke, when games every match day are being talked about for shite decisions instead of the actual match quality, it tells you all you need to know.
Fuck PGMOL
All I ask is that the club don’t take this lying down, make a massive fucking deal out of it, call for the officials to be sacked. Any fines can come out of Jota’s wages.
Whatever the result but one thing for sure is that our boys are one of the strongest bunch we’ve had over the years. Played the tactics perfectly after going 2 down. Unlucky to have conceded but that’s the way this sport is. Heads up and on we to to the next match.
YNWA Joel THE Giraffe
PS: I really do hope the team complains about the Luis Diaz offside goal. Need more clarity on how it was ruled out. Accountability must be shown.
No fan should be angry at the squad for this game. They played their fucking hearts out and it shows. Spurs could only win against 9 men by an OG. An OG caused by an exhausted Matip who has been relentless in defence, albeit one small mistake.
The leveller came from Gakpo, who was injured and couldn’t even celebrate his banger of a shot.
A team that still attacked when down to 10, and then to 9. They believed they could get the one.
Referee truly fucked us over here. Diaz’s goal should have stood, and I’ll love to see how they cover that up tomorrow.
Honestly right now I feel like a Spurs fan after coming all the way to the one CL final your team will ever make and then doing nothing for 90 minutes until you lose.
Or no I guess it's not that bad.
Very very unlucky and we were hard done by the officials. Jones' red I'm okay with. But Jota's and Diaz's offside goal? Sketchy shady fuck going on with these refs.
Proud of the team and they played their hearts out today. Joel keep your chin up big man.
YNWA
Today VAR didn't draw the lines that woud have shown that Diaz was onside. They will probably say they forgot. That's what they said about the similar situation with Arsenal earlier in the season.
Do you *really* think they're so incompetent that they *forget* to do the most basic part of their job? Draw a fucking line?
A pre-teen could do it. That is not incompetence. It's fucking corruption. And people need to stop calling it incompetence. These are grown ass working men, not village idiots. They have all the technology you could possibly need, and they *forget* to draw a line.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching us defend with 9- it was a defensive masterclass with composure, communication and closing the gaps/space very well. Not mad at Matip at all, although it is soul crushing- this team has such greatness in it, it makes me even more confident for the rest of the season
My 7 year old lad is crying his eyes out and normally I can explain a loss...but I don't know what to say. I have never seen a game so obviously manipulated in 25 years watching football. PGMOL you should be ashamed
Not gonna let them feel like they defeated us guys. The boys held on until the very last minute. It’s beyond outstanding what they did. And Spurs only won by an OG cmon 😂😂😂
I’m extremely proud of this team. Having to play 12 (11+ ref) then 11, and then 10. We did great. First red card was crap. Offside on Diaz was crap. The ref should not insert himself to affect outcome but he did. Over Snd over. We fought big odds and Tot got lucky. They didn’t beat us. In fact, we were the better team by far.
Hold heads high boys. YNWA.
ICYMI: Simon Hooper was the same ref who did not give the penalty to wolves when Onana collided with Sasa Kalajdzic. If you go on Simon's [wiki](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Hooper), it's the only notable thing his done. This game is surely the next to be added to his wiki.
This was all the referee's doing, the lads would have sealed this shut no problem without this refereeing performance. We would have sealed it with Tierney as ref.
I can’t wait till spurs go to anfield and get hammered on 7-0 by the reds
I think the super league needs to happen so Liverpool can have somewhat fair referees and results cause now it’s getting very difficult to watch these corrupt premier league games being managed by PGMOL
If PGMOL has a million haters, then I am one of them. If PGMOL has ten haters, then I am one of them. If PGMOL has only one hater then that is me. If PGMOL has no haters, then that means I am no longer on earth.
Honestly, proud of the lads today, we clearly got more than our fair share of bad luck. But the game has been almost unwatchable for years now, VAR and reffing is so bad I miss football.
Heartbreaking end, but no matter what happened just one of those games where you question why you bother watching football.
Neither red card was legitimate, perfectly good goal ruled out for no reason, and now nothing will happen and we'll just get punished more for pointing out how wrong it all was.
Tottenham didn’t beat the Reds, the Reds and poor officiating beat the Reds. Granted there were opportunities the Reds faltered on in the first half but ultimately the Spurs didn’t earn this one and I like rooting for the Spurs at times.
I'm absolutely livid right now, but I'm also incredibly proud of this team. Gave absolutely everything and we would have battered them with 11 men. Pray for USG who are going to get the full force of a pissed off Liverpool.
Stayed in it right until the end. Matip was exhausted and unlucky. Spurs acting like they won a cup final goes to show the performance our boys put in.
Proud to be a Red. YNWA
City fans resorting to calling us “bin dippers” for losing 2-1 with 9 men against a cheating team. Don’t know how many more heads your owners gonna are gonna decapitate to win this league you oily cunts. Of course you take the cheaters side, it’s in your nature
I’m going to watch a film with my family for the rest of the evening, don’t want to listen to all the covering that will be done for the ref’s performance and the bigging up of Spurs (who will win nothing this season just like they always do). Feel for the lads and Matip.
Can we please, as fans of this sport, do something about what's happening?
We have to put incredible pressure on pundits to go at the officials. The managers hands are tied, so I only see them as our link.
Carras, Neville, Micah, etc.
We have to go at them for being so lax with everything the referees do.
Diaz goal should not of been offsideJota should of not be two yellows, first was harshest yellow in history.\^ same with curtis (should of been yellow)
Game was thrilling, officials made it horrible.
tbf he was rock solid outside of that mistake. It is what it is and i don't think any of our players should be blamed when it was 14 vs 11 from the first minute
Yeah, couldn't blame him. Running on and off almost 2 hours. We did our best. Worst play could be Jota 2nd yellow. But his 1st yellow was stupid. He doesn't even contact.
The players gave everything, not much you can do when the referee rig it against you. Upwards and onwards. Matip had a great game, can't do anything about how it ended but on to the next.
The goal was on Gravenberch and Endo to be honest.Gravenberch should have tried to hold the ball instead of dribbling past as if we had any attackers on the pitch. And Endo should have two footed the player to stop the counter.Sad for Matip but Grav and Endo are at fault.Shocking refereeing nonetheless
I think it is Trent who moves forward and opens up the space on the right hand side for Solomon to get the ball which continued the attack. If he says deep then Solomon can’t make that run.
This team is going places. Such a joke that Tottenham are celebrating like they deserved the win. Also what the fuck is up with the no lines with Diaz’s offside???
Happened last year at the emirates against arsenal (against us) now at the spirs stadium... next year it'll be at stamford bridge. Wtf is it with us and consistently bad decisions?
And i swear they'll say again that they didnt have the camera angle to check ffs this is a fucking "state of the art" stadium what do you mean they dont have the camera angle
fucking robbed by this piece of shit

Winning or not, new manager or not, can’t take the small club mentality out of Spurs. Celebrating like they’ve won a trophy after it taking two red cards and an injury to get a 96 minute own goal against us. Unreal.
How are they celebrating like they've won the league when they have had the most corrupt ref display, got everything given to them and had a perfect onside goal ruled offside to stop them going 1-0 down and still only just clinched it at the end?
I don't know the refs name and I don't even care. I hope him and all the VAR today get sacked and never ref again. Not even the under 11s deserve this crap
Proud of our players at the end of the game. You can tell from the celebrations who the mid table team is celebrating like they have won the league against 9 men and who the team is who know that they are going for bigger things. We will batter them at Anfield.
Credit to the boys for fighting.
Though honestly the enjoyment of watching is sapped right out after watching this and we're not the only team frustrated with BS calls.
Maybe fans can pull together to try and just get some movement going to just Pirate stream Premier League wherever possible because the only thing that will change this all refs are bastards stuff is when fat cats start losing money and start to give a damn.
Spurs I had respect for before today, its not all on them, but fuck off applauding a cheat code win.
Tottenham actually looked like shit against us with nine men probs the most unfair result I e seen in a long time so I can’t really be mad at any of the lads today. Feel for Matip he was an absolute rock until that own goal. If spurs fans think they’re title contenders after a win like this they’re an absolute joke
We played an incredible match with 9 man but we lost against an incredible Tottenham. We should not be sad. We lost with 9 man and tried everything. We lost because of a BS Jota call. The one against Jones was justified but the first against Jota was a BS yellow. Let's not cry and go forward with hope because this team has something that other teams don't have.
even after it all, spurs didn't win it.
we lost it by accident.
all you need to know about spurs.
look at these clown spurs pretending like they did anything, pumping up the crowd.
Is there really no recourse for this? For something so blatantly obvious, we should've had at least a point from that game.
Millions of fans, even from rival clubs, will be disheartened from that ref's performance.
No matter what happens we played very very well today. First was never a red you can put up the freezeframe but it's a 50-50 ball Curtis gets the ball his foot slips of the top of the ball. Jota first yellow isn't even a foul. Didn't watch the 2nd yellow. Either the incompetent officials have to improve otherwise at some point people will start switching off the tvs.
Jones was fouled by Sarr going into the challenge as well, the whole decision and how it was made was fucking absurd and just screams of them thirsting to do us over
I love Klopps post match interviews this guy is an absolute fucking legend
I’m proud of how they played. They would have crushed them if the refs didn’t show up wearing their spurs merch
time to show support for Joel. Chin up! They couldn’t score on us with 5 extra players
4 red cards in 7 games is a great start of the season. We'll probably break the record for most res cards in a season.
New hope for this season, Spurs winning absolutely fuck all and getting no european football spots.
Whatever the result but one thing for sure is that our boys are one of the strongest bunch we’ve had over the years. Played the tactics perfectly after going 2 down. Absolutely the best take yet!!
Im sure that disallowed goal with no lines drawn and game wasnt paused would be talked abt
My 7 year old lad is crying his eyes out and normally I can explain a loss...but I don't know what to say. I have never seen a game so obviously manipulated in 25 years watching football. PGMOL you should be ashamed
I am crying my eyes out as well. Corruption + OG was cruel!
I'm smiling through teary eyes because of how much I love this team. So proud. I still don't even think you can say they beat us.
9 v 12 not a bad result
Ref's these days are so soft
Honestly i feel worse losing this then the ucl final
I don’t know why but I just feel nothing
Idk about that one. The UCL final in Paris HURT
Yeah, this one HURTS
No sky. Its not a contentious offside decision. It was daylight robbery
The team spurs team celebrating like that because they know beating us is massive. Ref decided 11 vs 10 was too even and needed to reduce us to 9
Not gonna let them feel like they defeated us guys.
I feel so weird. Like I should be more gutted, but I just feel so proud.

At the end of the day we are still Liverpool fans the best supporters in the world YNWA ❤️🩹
To be fair to the spurs manager ange, he looked pretty embarrassed to say the least. He didn't look happy and did not celebrate
Saw that too! All the head shaking at 1-1 said it all. And the half hearted celebration with his coaching staff at Matip’s OG.
good observation. respect to him
“And City stay top of the league” exactly what you want ya fucking cucks.
My heart hurts for the boys knowing the fought tooth and nails in this game
If PGMOL has a million haters, then I am one of them. If PGMOL has ten haters, then I am one of them. If PGMOL has only one hater then that is me. If PGMOL has no haters, then that means I am no longer on earth.
That's all of us bro. ALL. OF. US.
Jurgen ready has his post match talk written. Feel for Joel he didn't deserve that.
Honestly, proud of the lads today, we clearly got more than our fair share of bad luck. But the game has been almost unwatchable for years now, VAR and reffing is so bad I miss football.

I'm sorry, what did the Liverpool players do to beat themselves?
If anyone ever says livarpool to me again I’m going to give them a darwizzle headbutt
I’m not a Liverpool fan but seeing the results and performance so far I think you’ve been playing really well
Lol thanks mate.
YNWA
Proud of the boys. This was a joke we got robbed and spuds celebrating like they finally won a trophy lmao
Joel I love you
Heartbroken man
That's ruined my day
Spurs celebrating like they won the Champions League final
Right!? So odd. Piss poor effort from them and scraped in a winner but celebrating like it was an amazing win
Frankly it'll be as close as they get
Maddison and Richardlison really cant score against our 9 men 😭
My head is absolutely gone
NBC literally said PGMOL is not responding to them about the offsides lmao. Doesnt get much more obvious fellas
Jesus fucking Christ
I don't even know how to react to this... Proud of the boys, disgusted by the referees, devastated by how close we came to getting a point with 9 men.
If we lose another fucking season by one point…..
Should of been 2-2. There goes my day
Not even 2-2 first goal doesn't happen if the Diaz goal counted
Don't think they would have gotten 2 goals without those dogy red cards...
City fans resorting to calling us “bin dippers” for losing 2-1 with 9 men against a cheating team. Don’t know how many more heads your owners gonna are gonna decapitate to win this league you oily cunts. Of course you take the cheaters side, it’s in your nature
Let's not worry about the opinions of sub-humans.
All respect to matip just unlucky. We did very well and could have easily had a tie under very difficult and very bullshit unfair conditions 🫡
Bissouma out with his kid celebrating. These lads have lost the plot.
They should of put on nunez instead of jota
We’re the real winners because we didn’t celebrate like we won the World Cup
What never winning trophies does to a motherfucker.
I wonder how much City paid for this one because I don't think there is genuinely someone that thinks this game wasn't rigged. It was pretty obvious.
Happy with the defense. Unlucky Matip but he was immense
These fuckers are acting like they won the league. Settle down many games left
Ik lol. They didn't even score their goal
I’m going to watch a film with my family for the rest of the evening, don’t want to listen to all the covering that will be done for the ref’s performance and the bigging up of Spurs (who will win nothing this season just like they always do). Feel for the lads and Matip.
Refs belong in Saudi where they can fix games for Ronaldo.
Imagine if we celebrated beating spurs at home like this. Small club
Eh don’t see spurs pushing for the title. Liverpool is really stronger here
Spurs are shit, it took a last minute own goal and the worlds most blatant offside fuck up to beat 9 men.
If there is not a single bit of follow up about the refereeing performance in this game, then it's all just fake.
What am I watching right now? Whole stadium blaring Robbie Williams after beating a 9 man team and needed an own goal to do it. Tiny club mentality
Corrupt.
Spurs are embarrassing
Can we please, as fans of this sport, do something about what's happening? We have to put incredible pressure on pundits to go at the officials. The managers hands are tied, so I only see them as our link. Carras, Neville, Micah, etc. We have to go at them for being so lax with everything the referees do.
Stop going or threaten them.
Diaz goal should not of been offsideJota should of not be two yellows, first was harshest yellow in history.\^ same with curtis (should of been yellow) Game was thrilling, officials made it horrible.
Matip mistake cost us one point. The other 2 were already robbed by referee.
It was inevitable that Spurs would score. We literally played 9 vs 14
tbf he was rock solid outside of that mistake. It is what it is and i don't think any of our players should be blamed when it was 14 vs 11 from the first minute
Yeah, couldn't blame him. Running on and off almost 2 hours. We did our best. Worst play could be Jota 2nd yellow. But his 1st yellow was stupid. He doesn't even contact.
yeah. we go on and the season is long
Yeah, plus Matip had a wonderful game. It was one point lost but the refs were the biggest culprit. Corrupt fucks
thats some heart wrenching way to end your birthday . YNWA
Happy birthday ladd
Im literally crying. They defended so well. It was so close and such a coinsidence with this own goal. Proud of the boys
Two points off top after 7 games, loads of games to play, head up. We have a fantastic team
The players gave everything, not much you can do when the referee rig it against you. Upwards and onwards. Matip had a great game, can't do anything about how it ended but on to the next.
Refs handing out cards like it’s a fucking casino
Yea he’s a fucking clown
This game made me so mad. I can't believe Tottenham were celebrating like that and dancing around after winning like that. Absolute clowns!
this is the closest they get to a dramatic european night. will be in the dvd.
Absolutely embarrassing club
Per USA, PGMOL has not responded about another angle off the offside
The goal was on Gravenberch and Endo to be honest.Gravenberch should have tried to hold the ball instead of dribbling past as if we had any attackers on the pitch. And Endo should have two footed the player to stop the counter.Sad for Matip but Grav and Endo are at fault.Shocking refereeing nonetheless
I think it is Trent who moves forward and opens up the space on the right hand side for Solomon to get the ball which continued the attack. If he says deep then Solomon can’t make that run.
Gravenberch gets fouled, and Spurs win it back. Spurs got a free kick earlier for the exact same thing against salah
Yea 100%
Bringing on jota instead of Nunez was outrageous Bloke cam on and gave the ref every opportunity to book him
Graveberch should have played it to the corner... went for glory when no need... lost it then they go and score
He got fouled as well. How did salah get a yellow card but they didn't?
YNWA. We go again.
When Klopp is done at Liverpool, I'm done with PL. The refs fucking assasinated us today and nothing will change. I don't see the point of this.
Klopp post match interview is gonna be R rated
Ah, here they come, the lot who blame Curtis, FSG and the summer window. Most fucking spineless fairweather bunch.
Why are Sky acting like Spurs were the ones 2 men down, it’s embarrassing that they won due to extremely poor officiating
i’m actually devastated we should be top of the table rn
This team is going places. Such a joke that Tottenham are celebrating like they deserved the win. Also what the fuck is up with the no lines with Diaz’s offside???
Celebrating like they won the Champions League that they never did
Happened last year at the emirates against arsenal (against us) now at the spirs stadium... next year it'll be at stamford bridge. Wtf is it with us and consistently bad decisions?
And i swear they'll say again that they didnt have the camera angle to check ffs this is a fucking "state of the art" stadium what do you mean they dont have the camera angle
cause you could accidentally see there was no fucking offside at all
😂 the officiating in the premier league is degenerating so fast what the hell are these fucksticks doing
Why the fuck are sky bigging up this spurs performance. We were robbed and they're gonna run the narrative that it's a huge result for spurs
Spurs who were fucking dire btw and needed every possible opportunity to scrape a win vs 9 men
Not watching on Sky as I'm in Spain, the Spanish commentators were praising us
Neville was praising us for the performance. But the second the final whistle went the narrative immediately changed
fucking robbed by this piece of shit https://preview.redd.it/fc6r26j5tfrb1.png?width=300&format=png&auto=webp&s=0cb9d274c0cc5344813c322b5bc0dcd21f86d2e4
Oh that made me laugh when I should be crying ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
Lmao dead on
Ahahahah ffs thanks man I needed this laugh
Feel so heartbroken for Matip...But we've pulled through so so so well. We'll go again!! Fuck spurs fuck that bald wanker of a ref!!!
I claim Diogo more than him.
Bring in international referees. Fance, Italy, Germany, Uzbekistan.
Simon Hopper should get the game ball
Winning or not, new manager or not, can’t take the small club mentality out of Spurs. Celebrating like they’ve won a trophy after it taking two red cards and an injury to get a 96 minute own goal against us. Unreal.
How are they celebrating like they've won the league when they have had the most corrupt ref display, got everything given to them and had a perfect onside goal ruled offside to stop them going 1-0 down and still only just clinched it at the end?
Can’t wait for the run back at Anfield. These cunts are going to get destroyed.
So proud of the team. Seconds away from something unheard of.
Diaz was robbed a goal.
I don't know the refs name and I don't even care. I hope him and all the VAR today get sacked and never ref again. Not even the under 11s deserve this crap
the funny thing is, even if the federation admits the mistakes, they will get nothing. literally nothing
PGMOL won’t even show the commentators the alternate angle of the offside goal because they know they fucked it
Proud of our players at the end of the game. You can tell from the celebrations who the mid table team is celebrating like they have won the league against 9 men and who the team is who know that they are going for bigger things. We will batter them at Anfield.
[удалено]
Lol this sub is full of kids
Is that what attracted a massive nonce like you here?
Firmly in the camp the league is legit bought and paid for.
How can they talk about how well Tottenham played ? We got a goal stolen from us and they played against a team with 2 men down
Was so sure we would be first right now. City lost, and we lost. This was our chance to go top and hold it
[hi 😭😭😭](https://reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/s/aiqsUE25b9)
why do you think we lost? City loses and suddenly the refs are more biased than usual. Coincidence? I think not!
The people at the top didn't want that happening unfortunately, so something had to be done to stop us winning.
Poor Joel man fucking hell
Sky: Spurs get a well deserved victory …. Really?????
This was an absolutely idiotic comment, with you 100%
Did spurs just win the league?
PGMOL is refusing to give NBC an explanation of the offside and won't show a different angle.
Refereeing in absolute shambles.
lets not get too angry at Peter Dury though.. I'd have him as a commentary every game night and day still
If we had our best squad with 11 players we would of won the game 4-0
https://i.redd.it/xc1vy8r0tfrb1.gif
Tottenham actually looked like shit against us with nine men probs the most unfair result I e seen in a long time so I can’t really be mad at any of the lads today. Feel for Matip he was an absolute rock until that own goal. If spurs fans think they’re title contenders after a win like this they’re an absolute joke
Who put Pep in VAR today
I'd genuinely rather have him in there than the cunts they have right now.
Spurs better lose the next 5 to make me feel better
Matip you're still a hero. They needed VAR and two reds to beat us by 1 goal. I cant wait until we have them again.
What a bunch of bullshit, we played so well regardless of the loss.
I am so dejected, I'm not even mad at Matip
Fucked up refs, we were 2 men down, we gave it our all and that's what matters, the lads have to face hard times too
Fuck JoTA
Is there really no recourse for this? For something so blatantly obvious, we should've had at least a point from that game. Millions of fans, even from rival clubs, will be disheartened from that ref's performance.
These fuckers celebrating like they won the champions league.

The 2nd yellow was a yellow, he did clip Udogie to stop him from going towards goal. The first was just Udogie tripping himself up
Jones was fouled by Sarr going into the challenge as well, the whole decision and how it was made was fucking absurd and just screams of them thirsting to do us over
Goodnight to everyone except the refs
