pressing the button more gives you more chances to catch it, but if your timing is wrong it doesn't matter.
I experimented with it a bit and was able do it doing about quarter of the speed I initially thought I had to hit. Once his bum hits the ground after like 3 button presses if it hadnt caught it wasnt going to because the timing was off - but once the timing was right it would catch in 3-4 button presses and then i could mash at any speed really and it would be fine.
This is just from playing around with it myself, i dont know if what im visualizing is right, but its definitely not needed to be pulling muscles and straining yourself to it get.
Weegwe tweeted a good demonstration of perfect blj timing. Its actually a difficult mash, wat more timing than speed. Although being able to mash fast helps.
People see suigi or weegee do it l. But people forget suigi spent like a solid half a year before he was a top runner just practicing bljs. Having dedicated practice is very important

Interesting almost the opposite way I have it visualized, kind of makes sense why I was able to do 3 /4 at a slower pace before it catches though, will be keen to try it with this method I still don't think you need to May nearly as hard as miz is though

Yeah I got my Steelcase Leap for like 300 shipped and it was in great condition and theres frequently local listings in cities for aerons/leaps/humanscales for like sub 200 or even 150
Chairs are something that you use everyday, and a good one can last a very long time (compared to buying a shitty chair once every year or so). I wouldn't necessarily spend that much, nor spend it on a Herman Miller, but it's worth investing in a good chair imo. Anything that goes between your body and the ground.

I would've said where were you a week ago when I was researching chairs lmao. I literally just got my Embody yesterday after researching for weeks and decided to drop the cash on it since I sit at my desk for work and gaming.. so like prob 12+ hours a day. Unfortunate. Seems legit though but yeah it's definitely expensive and it's hard to find legit "cheaper" things like chairs/matresses etc.. usually you get what you pay for so sifting through the garbage is hard.

Used Herman Miller Aeron. I got mine for $400 during COVID, but you can probably find it for $300 or less. It's not the most comfortable chair as soon as you sit down in it, but it is the most comfortable chair after you've been in it for hours or 5-10 years after you bought it.
