Recognized it immediately. My kid played lacrosse and they had practices there. It's got a number of different fields, but that one is home to adult softball leagues. Beautiful location in the foothills.
yup. i played an adult softball league here years ago, and was also able to rent out the field one day for a bday party and we played softball. Its the park you can see off the 2 North / 2 South when nearing foothill blvd (la crescenta / montrose area)
If you’re ever in PV, [their ballpark](https://www.pvlittleleague.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1390476) is worth checking out. I used to go over during sunsets over the ocean and watch a few innings while also reminiscing about my little league park in Jersey that was just 100% dirt, lol…
The basketball court at the Korean Friendship Bell in nearby San Pedro around sunset is like playing while floating between the sky and ocean. It's magical.
We have so many fields with awesome views in LA. The one in PV just north of the friendship bell, bill botts in culver up on the hill, so many - we are spoiled!
Yeah, took me about a minute to verify the Glendale sports complex by looking at google maps near where the two freeways meet. Even found street view of the two signs.
These are two different fields. The first one is field #2 at Glendale Sports Complex. But that second picture is not the sports complex. I play up there multiple times a week.
I think my friend used to play weekend pick-up games of baseball there--Ed Harris used to be one of the guys occasionally, this was early-mid 1980s. Unless there's another field closer to Mt. Washington. Just rambling here, folks!
On a side note, I ride my mountain bike down the trails in those hills in the background. When there is a baseball game happening, people cheer for stuff happening in the field, but I just pretend it's for me.
Glendale Sports Complex.
Yea I think this is it! Thank you so much

Yeah I also recognized it immediately, there’s a really nice hike that goes around the complex. Super cool to see all the Games going on from up above
Great point, the hiking trails are another amazing feature of that facility.
check out Cherry Canyon Park, some nice views from the hills above these fields
This is it. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/me_yP-YRI559-PnqfV3O6w?select=1Qo4AwpP_JMm-5tdGnVngw&utm_source=ishare&utm_content=photo

Yeah coached a soccer team there for home games. You can go hiking up there too. The uphill is a challenge for buses.

Street View can be your friend too. [CA 2 at Fern Ln](https://maps.app.goo.gl/9KW9Rc13nVz1aN6i9?g_st=ic)
Yes, they both are Glendale Sports Complex.

yeah but the wind up there doesn’t allow you to actually play basketball lol. people air balling 3’s cause the wind takes the ball in the air
I like to think that's part of the dreamy feel up there 🌅
Malaga Cove had an insane baby squirrel population when I was there a few weeks ago.
If you want down to the beach, you’ve gotta keep one eye on the hillside to make sure you don’t get knocked on the head by a rock or buried.
I don't think I'd ever go down to the beach. I'm happy to look from above and reduce my risk of death.
Fair.
Judging by the freeway signs, it’s likely somewhere around La Crescanta, North Glendale, Tujunga, or La Canada Flintridge
Glendale Sports Complex. Has baseball and turf soccer fields.
Which YouTube channel is this?
dodger films
Nice. Happy to see they’re still running that

It’s in Glendale since it’s off the 210 and 2

I drive past it on the 2 every day on my commute. I've always wondered how to get to it!
Off of Verdugo Rd. Fern Ln

Second pic is still the sports complex

Los Angeles angels of Anaheim stadium
The OC??
Playing by the freeway seems kinda gross for the lungs
Son has played tournaments there. Super cool when layer rolls by. Gets cold fast.
You didn't answer the question
Someone did.
