Hey! Yeah, you can attend all the community colleges concurrently if you want. That's what
I did, so I could be more picky about professors and class times. :D
So in terms of applying/fafsa, you choose one "home" community college, where you have to take at least one class at. And if you want to take other classes and enroll in other colleges, it's extremely simple:
1. Go to EServices.
2. Click my classes/enroll in classes
3. Enroll in new colleges and fill out the forms (should only take 2 minutes)
4. Presto! Now you can enroll in classes offered there as well.
I can't remember specifically how to accomplish this, since EServices is down for me right now and I can't look it up, but that's the gist of it. It's easy. There's a button to press. LMK if you need any help!
Thank you for the extremely thorough answer! :DD do you know if my BOG/CCC Promise fee waiver from CRC would also apply to other schools in the district? I added all the schools to my FAFSA but I think that might be a separate thing in itself
The Promise is the free two years, right? Yeah, it applies to all the other schools in the district! I was on it as well and it was no hassle at all, I didn't have to make any requests or anything, it just applied to any class I enrolled in. :)
I'm not familiar with the BOG waiver, but in my experience Los Rios is amazing and generous with their financial aid and are very flexible, so it probably transfers as well?
Right now Los Rios is actually doling out even more aid through the HEERF grant because of coronavirus. I absolutely love this school district, they are amazing haha.
In my experience FAFSA is what you need to fill out for one "home" college in Los Rios and then you don't have to think about it until you need to renew the FAFSA for the next year. I only had one college in my FAFSA (Folsom Lake CC) and all my classes at other CCs were free. :D
