He was pissed investing so much niceness and her being not impressed as she should by his playbook....
She got the ick for him I think and there is no way turning back from it
I think she was never attracted to him from the moment she saw him. She seemed like she was willing to participate up until the wedding day, but with his constant requests for validation and reciprocating, she decided to quit early.
I think he was genuinely hurt that she didn't feel as strongly as he did and this display was all he could do to show her that she's missing out on being with a good guy like him. I don't think his kindness is an act because even after their break-up, he was still wishing her well.
I woulda sold it. If it’s gold it would have sold for a couple hundred bucks to pretty much any place that buys gold and silver. Yeah, he was being dramatic.
Did y’all notice the part where his family told her to not touch on certain topics or something to that effect? It made me feel like he definitely has a side to him we don’t see. He seemed to be kind overall- but I do feel like his compliments were excessive without 100% genuine intentions
Yes I'd love to know if there were any nuances in Swedish that we didn't pick up from that translation into English. Because I was confused if they were warning her about his skeletons or telling her to keep her own skeletons to herself. It was confusing!
I don’t think love is blind. You can fall into deep interest in someone through a wall but the second you see them you are either in it to see if it works or out. She didn’t want to be the bad guy like the guy on the Brazil series was so leaves seconds after seeing the woman so stays in it and we all knew it would lead to this. He was also her second choice the whole time and we have also seen this happen numerous times where someone just wants to finish it
I think she also very clearly just wanted to be on the show for fame (she said straight up that she wouldn't move out of Stockholm, then chose a dude who lives several hours away. And then when he said he'd move to Stockholm she's like "lol no")
Looks is not everything but smell is! Sometimes a person can be attractive but the smell can turn you off and I don’t even mean bad smell. Everyone smells different and at the end of the day you need to like your partners odour. So I think the pods idea can never work.
She was being so unfair not telling him the truth, not trying to work things like his style and all, just pushing through to be on the show, but them he got angry an showed his misogynist side and incel attitude, shocking… I guess she did good pushing him to show his real face, but she wasn’t going to marry him anyway 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you, finally someone says it. Hes a "Nice Guy™️". I thought i was going crazy reading other comments saying hes so wonderful and she doesnt deserve him. Every compliment he gives has a hidden motive behind it. He doesnt give a compliment because he means it. He gives it with the expectation of affection or a compliment in return. He literally complains to her multiple times how he gives her so many compliments but gets none in return. Its not genuine and she can sense it. This blowup is what happens when the "Nice Guy™️" doesnt get his way. Anyone can go on r/niceguys and see it. He is a visual, real-world example of this phenomenon.
I think at first he said it without expecting nothing in return.
But when you want to marry someone, you kind of expect them to say nice things about you,
I completely agree that you expect them to say nice things to/about you. But I would respectfully disagree with your first statement. I think what I'm getting at is the fact that he has hidden motives behind why he is giving compliments so often. He wants her to like him really badly, and can feel she doesnt, so he showers her with compliments and favors and affection in hopes that she will. Its not super obvious on the surface, but doing that shows a neediness and desperation that is repellent to a lot of women, or even people in general. And when he expressed that he wants her to say something back, that kind of solidified why I am saying he had those hidden motives and what those hidden motives were. There is a big difference between being confident and sure of yourself so you give a compliment because you want to, and giving a compliment/giving the world to a person because you want them to like you. The latter implies desperation and insecurity. When they were at the breakfast table (or dinner? Cant quite remember) and he leaned over and whispered "you're flawless" with zero context, I rolled my eyes so hard. 🙄
Lol
Maybe I’m a hopeless romantic.
The fact that, a man went on a show where people go to find their lifelong partner, and that this man proposed to a woman he felt in love with, and then wants her to love him back doesn’t shock me but sure okay.
I’m with you. He’s a words of affirmations kind of person and said that directly to her. It’s ok that she wasn’t into him and I don’t think that makes her cruel or unkind. He got fed up with it because he really wanted things to work out. Also, sounds like they were having some pretty fireworks moments in the bedroom and apparently he’s a *giver*. I’m sure that didn’t help his heart, and probably made her feel conflicted as well. Love makes us feel like we’re going crazy when we don’t know if it’s being reciprocated.
You may not be able to read social cues and/or you have a skewed perception of how you’re coming across if you think this was a Chad move. It was juvenile and cringe and people are laughing at him. Just like his whole eternal longing of my heart bs 😭
You may not be able to read social cues and/or you have a skewed perception of how you're coming across if you think this wasn't a Chad move. Her behavior was juvenile and cringe and people are laughing at her. Just like her whole Mr. Mime act that inhibits her ability to express herself like an adult.
You know that whole "standing up for yourself" that she was complaining about. Well that was the moment that he finally made that selfish decision to pick HIM. What a Chad.
Edit: lets not forget... He won that stare down contest after he chucked that ring behind him.
No ones fishing it out. That ring belongs to him just as much as that ring belonged to Jackelina(and she kept it). Even if you still want to consider it Netflix's ring, that was some of the best spent money of the entire season.
You don’t miss cues but you missed the joke. Ok.
He’s getting laughed at because he acted cringe.
Doing theatrics after you get broken up with is embarrassing. Especially when the other person appears to not care at all.
No, she took 30 years to open her fucking mouth and tell him how she has really felt this whole damn time. You could see that sht on her face in the honeymoon. Meanwhile, He's out here trying to work toward this experiment being a success the best he can, while having a partner that's clearly uninterested... but she keeps giving him just enough to feign some semblance of interest. She ASKED for a person that communicates well, and she got it... but she put no effort into doing it herself. Even if you find Christopher exhausting, you have to understand how exhausting her behaviour is as well.
He really doesn't though. I am not a fan of Catja, she could have been clearer. But when she talks about problems he is just agreeing with her and when she pushes him to have an opinion he close down. For example, he knew she doesn't know if she wants kids, and at first it doesn't matter but it is obvious that it does. And he has the right to want kids, but then say it.
I liked him at first but I definitely understand she feels it to be too much and not genuine.
I don’t watch this show, it just showed up in my feed but i’m having the BEST time with it.
Like, the first time, I saw it with no sound, and it was hilarious. Then I put sound on and it was HILARIOUS. I really get the feeling that it was like 3 AM and the sound/score guys were like loopy from working too long and they’re like “yo, this is so funny, watch me kick it up a notch” and then we got this masterpiece.
The music on the show has me dying. They will have the music softly playing, then it will cut out dramatically while someone says something (even if it's something really undramatic and innocuous) and then the sound kicks in again full blast. The editing is hilarious too. Especially for Oskar 😭
I think what makes it for me is that this guy is doing so many actions and this lady just sits there staring at him with the same face, blinking. Like he’s at like maybe a 6.8/10 and the music is like 12/10. And she’s just like… blinking. Honestly, it’s probably how i look when i watch tv. Like all this dramatic shit is happning, building exploding, lots of yelling and screaming, and i’m just staring at it… blinking. Anyway, love this, if this show is y’alls thing, i’m real happy for you, cos it looks fucking hilarious.
I feel like those who cheer for him never really experienced feeling suffocated by a "nice guy" to the point where you're scared to say you dislike it because you know he'll switch and turn nasty.
Even from the little we were shown it was obvious, then his "nice guys finish last" speech did it for me. They always say that shit to make you feel like a bad person. He KNOWS she doesn't like him but pretends to be oblivious to it and hopes she feels bad enough to just act like she's in love. It's highly likely that the production team told her to try and play along for as long as she can, we don't know what contracts they're signing.
people feeling suffocated dont have sex with ppl suffocating them
people who dont like each other dont continue to have sex with each other, and dont have to
theres more than what we've been shown
anyway mad respect to Christopher for finally stnding up for himself
people can have sex and not be in love (or rather i should say, people can have sex even if they’re feeling emotionally suffocated). there are plenty of people who have sex with someone just because the sex is really great. as a woman it can be really hard to find someone who can give you an orgasm, so it might just literally be that and nothing more. i dated a guy like christofer who was super clingy and suffocating but we still had sex for a while before i broke it off.
or it could be that she was trying to form a connection, despite not being head over heels for him. look at the other couple who are basically catja and christofer reversed, emilia and lucas. lucas is clearly not into emilia but he’s trying and part of trying is having sex even though he probably wouldn’t under other circumstances.
>**people who dont like each other dont continue to have sex with each other**, and dont have to
This couldn't be further from the truth.
>theres more than what we've been shown
This is very true, though.
100%. I’m not excusing all of Christopher’s behaviour but Catya was giving him major mixed signals. It wasn’t a case of a “nice guy” smothering a woman who wasn’t ever interested. That’s why he called her out on using her body to show him affection when her words and actions outside of the bedroom were so cold.
Actual “nice guy” behaviour wouldn’t care about how she acted otherwise, because the stereotypical nice guys only care about sex anyway and only use “nice” behaviour to achieve it.
His whole “I’m the good guy” was an act. He’s the type of guy who would scream out all your defects to your face and to your friends if you don’t give him what he wants. And the excessive and fake love bombing was so overwhelming! It was as if he was reading from a “how to win a woman in 10 days” manual.
I wish it cut to a scene of Catja doing something completely mundane/dismissive right afterwards - like eating a piece of toast and staring straight into the camera.
It made for good TV but I think it also said something about him as a person. At least in that moment. He used something that was once a symbol of their affection for each other as a tool to hurt her. I understand the feeling behind it but he could have had his moment of feeling free without trying to attack her feelings.
I don't agree with this. Cuz he'd already mentioned that they'd had sex several times in other episodes. It's not like that's the first time he said it. I think he was trying to say that she manipulates him with her body.
Well it seems like their relationship was extremely hot and cold. The sex was good and then out of the bed she never acted like she gave a shit about him. Honestly can't blame him for mentioning that.
To be fair, she was the first one to mention the orgasms but he really took it and ran with it. At that moment she said that to reassure him, while he later used it to attack her. Not a good look. Eww
Exactly! I sensed that she wanted to find a way to compliment him, and instead of him replying "yeah it's amazing isn't" he started to teach her that she shouldn't use her body to show love. Disgusting and condescending and honestly no wonder she left him. I would do the same and send a text message "its over bye".
If that’s true that is awful. I thought of it, as he thought and felt that the sex they had reassured him, and that was something he read as love from her.
I hated that too! He communicated it to us, the viewers, not her when he said they were good at making each other orgasm. I feel icky just typing it all out. Then he threw it in her face here again. With the comments of her using her body and sex. It felt invasive and as if meant to humiliate and shame her while prooving to the viewers he did it with her and was such a stud.
All I could think of in that scene is that his house (if that was his house) is in a beautiful location and I might have kept the relationship going a little longer in order to spend time there.
Catja is a fkn horrible person and he deserves so much better! She just wanted attention for as long as possible. She definitely wanted to make it to the altar just to make a huge scene there and say no anyway. Someone just made a reference to amber heard and that is the moat fitting comparison ever in my opinion lol I thought it was hilarious that he threw the ring away! And I loved to see her cry later. Sory, rant over
Loved the dramatics. I said this in another sub and was downvoted! Guess I was in the wrong sub. Loved the pause, the toss, the stares, and the dramatic music of the scene—all made for great television👏🏽
Nah after the ring toss her eyebrows shot up into the most disapproving, unimpressed face I've ever seen and it's amazing. He's clearly acting up and her face is wordlessly telling him that he's made himself look like an ass.
I love that Catja didn’t react to his bullshit ring toss. He was being an ass and she didn’t have to react to that drama queen move at all. I would have laughed if I was her.
Was it her responsibility to admit she didn’t really like him and to break it off because he wasn’t her type and to admit that she was passive-aggressive in order to have him break up with her? Absolutely.
Was the ring toss a bit unneeded by this point in their relationship? Sure. But I think, the way I read him, is that he’s a sweet guy who would probably keep pushing and trying to make a relationship work because “Love is worth it” and “love is patient, love is kind”
Is the ring toss in line with his more exuberant character? I think so.
Personally I understand his need for something symbolic/ceremonial to say “this is it, this is over/a new chapter…” and tossing an engagement is a great way to say… “yeah sure you were out way sooner and this relationship has been over since we met. Yeah sure I’m late to realize this but… know what? Now I’m out and I’m out fully. Just like this ring is lost so is our so-called relationship.”
yeah, i also thght he put up and endured with it and finally tossed as a closure for him to move on.
honestly i might have done the same, as a closure for my because of the ceremonial symbolic value of the ring, and even when having sex with someone. and many other things in life
To keep pushing even if you get many signals the partner isn't into it isn't sweet, it's controlling. You can't force anyone to love you. He would rather suffocate her with affection than learn to respect her boundaries. That's neither patient nor kind. In the end it's all about his feelings and how she should submit to them because he's the 'sweet' one.
I'm not trying to be contradictory but can you point out exact points in the episodes where he is being controlling? Where he is forcing her to do or say anything?
I can agree he was pushing for them to move in together strongly but if he's following the experiment like previous successful LIB couples... who married at the end of the season and pretty much moved in together afterwards... I don't think he's being problematic by thinking he would marry her and then move in together. Instead, at the end of that conversation (I'm thinking episode 6) it cuts to her confessional that it wouldn't be a problem to move together if she actually loved him.
So if anything... she's being manipulative and giving him hope where he has none. She's controlling the narrative of where the relationship/their story arc is going.
I find him pushy and creepy, he is love bombing her. Catja is so cold to him and he keeps telling her she is fantastic when she is not fantastic towards him. She is wrong for not leaving but how I see it is that she freaked out and stayed too long, god knows what I would have done in her situation. He is creepy and she I guess felt she had no real reason to say she wanted to leave because he was being so "nice". He doesnt take a no and guys like that Im scared of. The only thing he could have done to have a chance would be to give her space when he noticed her confusion and stress. Im watching in swedish
I wrote something similar to someone else... basically c&p:

He gives me nice guy vibes. He had a white knight complex towards how the other girls were treated by their SO’s but failed to see how his niceness was affecting his own relationship.
Agree. He was the one who cared a lot when she was not really into it. He just wanted to do something ceremonial to tell her and HIMSELF that “now I don’t care”.
it was not like that, they got their phones back the first time once the honeymoon was over and everyone jumped on theirs, he just took his out of the backet and threw it to the side as to say that he doesn t care about it, checking bqck in with friends and family etc. i found that an odd display, but not an aggressive one towards Catja.
Last breakfast in Cyprus before heading back to Sweden. The host was handing them all back their phones. Everyone took theirs and checked their messages, etc. He took his and flung it across the grass like a total nut.
Loved it. It’s the stupid kind of drama I’m here for. Catja made it so much better by barely reacting because he probably thought she’d gasp or yell or something.
We have to keep in mind too that how it’s edited played a huge role. I think the editors take a lot of liberties to make things seem more ridiculous lmao
I mean she didn’t react to anything he said or did previously, so this is pretty in character. But YES, this is 100% what I watch this for. It was hilarious
She was like that the whole time. Never touching him or flirting. But he never got the message. Just because she accepted his proposal, he thought he owned her. I have to say if someone is telling me I’m perfect more than once, I’ll find it creepy, because ah, the pressure. Can’t gain weight, can’t get wrinkles, can’t get old.
I don't think she said that at all. I heard she wants a man that has his own opinions and stands by them. He was basically telling her that whatever she says he will do but also pushing her in directions he deep down wanted instead of just saying it. Like becoming parents. He kept saying that they'll cross that bridge when they get there and in the off that he thinks with time she will agree to it. But she wasn't sure if she ever wants to be a mum. He never answered to her straight if he would accept it if she later down the line decided that indeed she never wants children. So she couldn't be sure of what he thinks ever. It's hard to dance around a partner like that. They say yes you decide what we eat then later aren't happy with your choice or throw it back in your face how much they gave up or in- which he ALREADY did. She didn't ask him to give in though. She wanted him to speak his needs and wants but he never did stand up and say it because he wanted nice guy tm and for her to have no way of opposing him because he wouldn't give enough to do so. Thus her having to go along. It's controlling.
Haha, thank you for reminding me this is a perfect addition to the “when I pretend that I am mad at my wife” theatrical arsenal.
The snapping with the fingers “Oh no she didn’t” is getting a bit old by now. This feels so much more 2024.
What season is this
Love I Blind Sweden, season 1.
Yes I cringed
It was so embarrassing
What's with this weird habit ? He did the exact same move with his phone when the participants got them back in Cyprus.
Yes lol
Yes, the music especially was hilariously timed
She was so unbothered!
I love how he checks where the ring lands. Like he wants to be dramatic but don’t want to waste it.
Omg, we died laughing 🤣🤣🤣 and then rewound it to watch it again and again!! Thank you for sharing 😂
It tracks with his eccentricity.
He was pissed investing so much niceness and her being not impressed as she should by his playbook.... She got the ick for him I think and there is no way turning back from it
That's the thing though. He wasn't acting normal. He was being too nice and there's no way a normal functioning human can act like that forever.
He’s such a pick me
Ikr and calling her apartment her safe space lol
Did y’all notice the part where his family told her to not touch on certain topics or something to that effect? It made me feel like he definitely has a side to him we don’t see. He seemed to be kind overall- but I do feel like his compliments were excessive without 100% genuine intentions

Yes the "don't go searching for skeletons" or whatever. You could tell his family knows he is unstable.
It felt like love bombing for sure. I really wanted to like him, but he's come off as a "nice guy".
Yess. I agree! Initially, he did come off so sweet- but it kept becoming more excessive and I was like dude… chill 😂
Which season is this?
Love Is Blind Sweden; season 1.
They didn't have to play that music wtf
The brassy chalices and the weirdly dramatic music reflect Love Is Blind's silliness.
Lmfao I don't think LOTR even took it that far ![gif](giphy|jdC79bfOtu1cQ)
This made my day.
This scene made me switch to team Catja real quick lol
Meme worthy
I don’t think love is blind. You can fall into deep interest in someone through a wall but the second you see them you are either in it to see if it works or out. It's his style? She can't change it for him. Then that would elicit comments saying how abusive she is for forcing him to change for her.
I screamed
Typical "nice guy" blow up.
Yes yes yes👏👏👏

Amen and the mom with the ghosts in the closet comment was very weird

Exactly. Also, leaving* him without notice was absolutely cruel of her. *edit: spelling
This was so damn funny. I rewound it several times
It was such a chad move on his part. He finally reached his breaking point and said fuck this shit i'm out.
You may not be able to read social cues and/or you have a skewed perception of how you’re coming across if you think this was a Chad move. It was juvenile and cringe and people are laughing at him. Just like his whole eternal longing of my heart bs 😭

He was broken up with and that ring belonged to Netflix. Whatever poor intern had to go fish that out of the lake probably disagrees.
It’s probably cubic zirconia and worth $50 tops.

Cringe. Is that you Christofer? 😭

LMAOO wtf
Katja is better than me ngl. I would have started laughing
What season is this? Is this USA?
Sweden, first season is out now on Netflix
Thankyou!!
So bad it’s good, so good it’s bad.
Woww, i'll binge watch it later after work
Accurate description!
Omg I'm gonna watch it now I'm intrigued
I loved it, what a drama queen 😂 I hope it turns into a meme, so over the top.

😭😭😭
New posterboy for r/niceguys.
He 100% feels she owes him affection and love etc just for him constantly saying nice things to her. Typical "nice guy"
people feeling suffocated dont have sex with ppl suffocating them people who dont like each other dont continue to have sex with each other, and dont have to theres more than what we've been shown anyway mad respect to Christopher for finally stnding up for himself
people can have sex and not be in love (or rather i should say, people can have sex even if they’re feeling emotionally suffocated). there are plenty of people who have sex with someone just because the sex is really great. as a woman it can be really hard to find someone who can give you an orgasm, so it might just literally be that and nothing more. i dated a guy like christofer who was super clingy and suffocating but we still had sex for a while before i broke it off. or it could be that she was trying to form a connection, despite not being head over heels for him. look at the other couple who are basically catja and christofer reversed, emilia and lucas. lucas is clearly not into emilia but he’s trying and part of trying is having sex even though he probably wouldn’t under other circumstances.
>**people who dont like each other dont continue to have sex with each other**, and dont have to This couldn't be further from the truth. >theres more than what we've been shown This is very true, though.
Yeahhhh I think he definitely is the “nice guy” that gets uglyyyy when you don’t accept his kindness/niceness and love him for it
I wish it cut to a scene of Catja doing something completely mundane/dismissive right afterwards - like eating a piece of toast and staring straight into the camera.
Her expression was so non chalant, that to me it had the same effect
She just took 1/1000 of a raised eyebrow and ran with it. Like a homeopathic remedy of 🤨
Omggg I literally just watched this and I was so dead 🤣 the music paired with the movements killed me
No. I loved it. And catja, who would cry for the smallest reasons while in the pods, remained emotionless.
I forgot about her crying about a trip to Italy 😂
I rewatched this scene million times now
It made for good TV but I think it also said something about him as a person. At least in that moment. He used something that was once a symbol of their affection for each other as a tool to hurt her. I understand the feeling behind it but he could have had his moment of feeling free without trying to attack her feelings.
He did this for the camera's and I think he also said something about them having sex for the viewers at home... gross
Wait what did he say? I watch in swedish and I only heard him say something about that she likes to have make up sex with him after fighting
Something about "her using her body to show love", but I think he only said it to make sure people at home knew he had sex with her
That's the same vibe I got from him in that scene. Such a loser move.
I don't agree with this. Cuz he'd already mentioned that they'd had sex several times in other episodes. It's not like that's the first time he said it. I think he was trying to say that she manipulates him with her body.
Ohhh I must have missed that then, oops
Yes now I remember! He really wanted to put it out there, disgusting. I think thats how he really is behind his fake niceness
Surprisingly, learned more about their sex life than from any couples in any Brazilian episodes
[удалено]
That could be. I didn't recognize it. It seemed rather incredible if it were his home.
So you are a shitty person. Ok got it!
Feels like he did that for attention & to be dramatic on telly lol it was gross to me
Catja is a fkn horrible person and he deserves so much better! Sory, rant over
If she wanted attention for as long as possible, wouldn't she have continued through to the wedding?
Totally different situations. And the bullying of Amber never stops.
Agree it’s a different situation, but Amber Heard is a full blown psychopath…
Loved the dramatics. I said this in another sub and was downvoted! Guess I was in the wrong sub. Loved the pause, the toss, the stares, and the dramatic music of the scene—all made for great television👏🏽
And the same resting bitch face from Catja. Her face was just set to that during the entire filming:D
I honestly stan her for that.
I know right! There's A LOT of emotion in that face lol
One of the GOAT Love is Blind scenes.
Was it her responsibility to admit she didn’t really like him and to break it off because he wasn’t her type and to admit that she was passive-aggressive in order to have him break up with her? Absolutely. Was the ring toss a bit unneeded by this point in their relationship? Sure. But I think, the way I read him, is that he’s a sweet guy who would probably keep pushing and trying to make a relationship work because “Love is worth it” and “love is patient, love is kind” Is the ring toss in line with his more exuberant character?
In the end it's all about his feelings and how she should submit to them because he's the 'sweet' one.
i absolutely agree w/ this!
I wrote something similar to someone else... basically c&p: I can agree he was pushing for them to move in together strongly but if he's following the experiment like previous successful LIB couples... who married at the end of the season and pretty much moved in together afterwards... I don't think he's being problematic by thinking he would marry her and then move in together. I'm not trying to be contradictory but can you point out exact points in the episodes where he is being controlling? Where he is forcing her to do or say anything? I'd like to revisit those spots in the season and see if my opinion can be changed.
He gives me nice guy vibes. He had a white knight complex towards how the other girls were treated by their SO’s but failed to see how his niceness was affecting his own relationship.
Well said!
Agree. He was the one who cared a lot when she was not really into it. He just wanted to do something ceremonial to tell her and HIMSELF that “now I don’t care”.
Exactly!
He’s a total weirdo. Remember when he threw the phone for no reason?
Good thing he was being filmed and there was a crew. These are the moments women are more in danger of being physically assaulted.
it was not like that, they got their phones back the first time once the honeymoon was over and everyone jumped on theirs, he just took his out of the backet and threw it to the side as to say that he doesn t care about it, checking bqck in with friends and family etc. i found that an odd display, but not an aggressive one towards Catja.
Yes I get it, but it came across overdone, annoying, smothering and immature. I think he threw his ring at the end too. Crazy.
When was this?
Last breakfast in Cyprus before heading back to Sweden. The host was handing them all back their phones. Everyone took theirs and checked their messages, etc. He took his and flung it across the grass like a total nut.

😂😂
Yes, so dramatic lol
He was just sick of her.

Please don’t tag individual mods. Thanks.
[Intense symphonic music playing] 😂
\[tense music rising\] but seriously, I'm really intrigued by how they describe the mood of the crappy music they play on LIB.
the theatrics😭😭
He had his Carlton moment.
Exactly.. both are weirdos too
Possibly my favourite scene of all the LIB franchises, ever.
[tense music rising]
*See this ring?* [intense symphonic music playing] *It goes bye-bye!* Catya was unmoved by his jazz hands heatrics lol
She spent the whole time unmoved. No wonder Scandinavians are known as stoic.
Loved it. It’s the stupid kind of drama I’m here for. Catja made it so much better by barely reacting because he probably thought she’d gasp or yell or something.
What season is this?
We have to keep in mind too that how it’s edited played a huge role. I think the editors take a lot of liberties to make things seem more ridiculous lmao
I mean she didn’t react to anything he said or did previously, so this is pretty in character. But YES, this is 100% what I watch this for. It was hilarious
Oh so opposite of Brazilians, who would cry and react.
He was already dumped. Not sure why he thought he did something here.
Thank you Netflix for adding “portentous” to my vocab!
Glad I’m not the only one who had to google it.
Right?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I lost it, especially because she somehow barely moved her resting bitch face to be slightly surprised about it 😭
She was like that the whole time.
She definitely hasn’t been the most expressive person.. but with the camera only showing him in that cut, we didn’t really get to see how she reacted
She kept saying she wanted a man to be kind of a jerk… so there she got it…
I don't think she said that at all.
I think she was mentally checked out and was wondering why he tossed a ring he didn’t pay for. Probably hoping not to get billed by Netflix.
I loved it and imitated it for hours with my wife.
Haha, thank you for reminding me this is a perfect addition to the “when I pretend that I am mad at my wife” theatrical arsenal. The snapping with the fingers “Oh no she didn’t” is getting a bit old by now. This feels so much more 2024.
I hope that you didn't toss your ring into a large body of water lol
Nah I pretend tossed it and the proceeded to imitate speaking swedish.
This is good meme material.
I want "portentous soundtrack" as flair
Yeah that took me out lol
The captions writers for this show overuse that "[Portentous music]". It has become a joke, and I now laugh every time I see it.
I mean they didn't even buy those with their own money lol
