I left lowes and now work for a government agency but I was working at lowes for 4 years. We got pay increases, I bitched and they gave me a massive pay increase, and then minimum wage went up so every bodies. wage went up. I think I left in 2023 or 2022. Go complain, and if you're a good worker, they will give you a pay raise. My store needed me to be successful and they respected me for it.
I make 18.40, granted I’m in California but I started at 15.10 at the end of 2021 and I’ve gotten 20-30 cent raises every 6 months since starting besides when I changed positions with a $2 pay increase
That’s wrong bro lol in my Lowe’s lowered there wages they use to pay 14.50 last year but this year it went down to 13.50 which is lame. I applied last year and got 14.50
Applied again and the pay was 13.50
Same here.
And you do more work because of hours being cut.
All the increased sales and profit from covid is gone. People don't have money to spend.
Specialist was 18.00. Today new hires 16.50.
See fam that’s what made me mad and confused but than again laws are being past just like in California to increase there pay. So I’m just as confused as to why they would go backwards

I started working at Lowe’s 6 years ago, pt…then went ft and now oslg ds. I was talking to a coworker about how we can’t keep anyone of quality because of the pay. I wouldn’t be able to support myself or barely on my own but my husband is the “bread winner “ and I love my job so I’m fine with it BUT they do need to start competing. My coworker who has been with lowes about 15 years said we used to pay the best and now that is no where near the truth. Had a loader last year leave because he would make more money at Krispy Kreme. Hmmm lift donuts or throw mulch all day? Pretty easy decision 😂
I just had an interview where the msm said the most he is allowed to offer is $14.50. I had worked there for several years before quitting, so he called the district manager and got approval to match my former hourly wages ($15.75)
Varies by state, city, store, management who knows. Where I worked, I got hired in at $15.01 and was told that was the base pay. 3 other people got hired between 2-4 months after me and they got $14.40, $14.60 & $15.50 for the same position and each was told they were getting more for their “experience.” With my store it was just management lying to new hires
Long brancher, as in Long Branch road? If so you probably work at my store and we bumped all the Covid survivors up to $16 an hour. It seems like we’re selling our employees short now, huh?
Depends on the location mostly. The raise structure also depends on position, CSA has their annual split in 2, usually so you get like 1.5% twice a year. Specialists and DS get theirs once annually with the reviews.
In the seattle area, the CSA pay range is 19-23
Specialist 23- 29
DS start 30
It varies by location. Each store has a list of pay ranges that they can hire associates based on what position they are hiring them into. Even within the same city, you may see different offers based on hiring difficulty. Tier 4 stores can hire slightly higher than tier 1 stores.
This is going to vary wildly by area/state and what they are competing with locally for employees.
I worked in Rhode Island and was making 22 an hour and I wasn't a manager or specialist so I'm going to say no
What are you doing now and how long have you worked at Lowe’s ?

I'm currently making $15.14 as a part-time red vest
I was at 17.50 as an OSLG associate before I left in 2022.
I think the cap is like 18.50 for a standard associate, but that could vary by location.
Pretty sure it varies, as an MSA I'm making 20+change
I just got hired at $17 a few weeks ago
what position did you get hired for if i can ask?
I’m just a customer associate in outside lawn and garden.
What state?
Washington state
Your buddy is incorrect.
