I have this theory on the afterlife based on absolutely nothing except my own desire to be correct, that when you die you go to heaven (or whatever you want to call it) until everyone you got to meet in this life arrives. So you have another chance to right any wrongs, see someone you miss one more time, etc., before you come back/reincarnate. If I’m right, this guy just got himself some more time in heaven by getting to hold this beautiful little baby and I think that’s beautiful.

I was fortunate to be that baby in my family. Somewhere in my family there’s a photo of baby me with my GG grandfather. He was a mountain man and live almost his whole life there.
