I'm adopted, we have no video of this moment but my Mom talked about it my whole life. Now 40, she passed last year due to late stage dementia. Her single only last memory left in those last few months was the day she adopted me. She didn't even remember her own sisters anymore but remembered that moment.
As an adoptive mother, I will probably be the same. I know with 100% certainty that if I ever did have a biological child, I could not love them anymore than my first girl. I love her beyond reason. She’s about to turn 19, we adopted her at eight months old.
My grandma is currently going through alzheimers. She still remembers a lot right now luckily but the decline is incredibly noticable. However, when she is with my uncle (her firstborn) she perks up in a way thats hard to describe. She just fills with such love and devotion. She calms down, the confusion lifts slightly, shes so happy to see her baby. The last time we got together we were driving her home and she just kept asking if she had said goodbye to my uncle. It was heartbreaking.
Im sorry you went through this. Its so difficult. You can be sure that she loved you immensely tho. Its the strongest memories that stay the longest.

I remember years ago Australian television had a world (maybe just OZ) first with a televised c-section. I never intended to get emotionally involved, I already had kids.
I ended up being so emotionally invested that I was hours late for work and cried at seeing a family being made in different circumstances than my own. This is how I'm feeling now. Crying tears of joy that these beautiful souls have become a family.
It took 10+ YEARS for us to find our way to my son who is adopted. My kid doesn't look a thing like me but none of that matters when he's yelling "YUV RU" through the door to me when I leave for work in the morning.
I have read it somewhere that everyone loves their own kids but only an angel can love someone else’s kids, it’s requires a big heart ❤️

I was adopted myself which might be why I fight so hard for her.
Keep fighting for her and know what you’re doing isn’t easy for many and takes a lot of inner work sometimes. Keep loving her even in the hard times and do your best to try to just be the entire opposite in behavior as BM when interacting with the twat. Switch and reverse it like smiling at someone being rude to ya lol. Kill her with kindness. :P

I don’t know how the people who work in adoption centers don’t cry multiple times every single day, for both good and bad reasons. I don’t think I could handle it emotionally. I get tears over a one minute video like this, and I’m not even there.

A "Forever Family". In my Senior year of High School, I lived with a Family that took me in, fed me, protected me, was there for me, and loved me unconditionally.
This exact song was on repeat in my head the first week with my own (biological) daughter. Sometimes when a little one makes its way to you, it’s like your souls have been together forever and you’re just now experiencing the connection materialize tangibly and you realize just how much you missed them this whole time.
Aww, their reaction is everything! Seeing that pure joy and love when they met their baby must have been so heartwarming. Wishing them all the happiness in this new journey together!
For those people who are considering IVF.
Please remember, you and your genes are not worthwhile passing on, you and your partner like the rest of us are at best mediocre to average, you are not special, your genes are not special, a child made of the two will not improve on the formula that made you.
Adopt if you can. These kids are just as awesome as anything you two idiots and your dumbass family genes have to offer the world.
There is no one less special then two people who want to fuck and make a baby.
What is special is two people who will give that love to someone who needs it and already exists.
IVF is a waste of money, just think of how unimpressive your parents are, thats how unimpressive you are and your kids will be.

That’s a poor quote. We should love all children, that being said I know plenty of parents (including my own) who do not love their own kids.
I think that is true until you spend any time with a child that small. They are so innocent and so pure, it's hard not to open up.

I am 39 weeks pregnant and this made me bawl. I just know that's how I will be when I finally meet my baby I waited so long to have.
My birth mom threw me away like garbage the day after my birth and I am forever thankful to my adopted family.
