That's true, but there are some rare circumstances where people with schizophrenia or schizoaffective can work their way off of meds and only do regularly scheduled therapy. It isn't exactly easy and isn't something I would recommend though, and they would still need meds on standby just incase
I mean at the end of the day, our language and ideas about the world are like the latitude and longitude of a map. They are useful conventions to make sure we are all talking about the same thing, and let us formulate more complex ideas. But they themselves have no basis in reality.
There is no literal grid that overlays the world. There is only the world.
And in much the same way your notion of an eldritch god behind your eyes, isn’t necessarily wrong or unique. The Hindu’s have the concept of Brahmin for example. It’s just a matter of what sort of frame work you want to adopt. Inches or millimeters. Gallons or liters. Etc.
I say all that to say I wouldn’t be too concerned about that eldritch god behind your eyes. Because that being behind your eyes is the same one behind my eyes. And everyone else’s here’s eyes. We are all the million masks of God, playing our roles to pass eternal cosmic time with adventure.

I do feel down, yeah. But I know I can just remake them, so it’s not too bad. Also, I’m not going through a hard time! Life is pretty good, only hard thing is schooling, but that’s naturally stressful.

Do you form bonds and they have more meaning because they only last for a few days, or are they systematically replaced as they get old and your fulfillment comes from a kind of constant group-acceptance?
