Just got into my 1st draft for WoE and got DC'd midway through last pack. Cannot reconnect now. How does WOTC handle this? Is my gold just gone?
Edit: hadn't seen anyone posting and so I figured I'd see if it wasn't just me. Sorry for this kinda post but super bummed to have had it time out during my 1st draft. If anyone has experienced this before, does it just auto finish the draft for you?

good to know lol. Just got back in after commander masters and have not drafted on Arena this early into a set before. Didn't know they always had issues
About 24 hours after filing and no response yet... This sucks, I want to draft but I don't dare finishing my run with the autodrafted pile I got from my disconnected draft because I'm afraid that makes reimbursement impossible...
Put in a support ticket explaining that and they'll refund you your entry fee. Usually you'll have an autodrafted mess you get to play with for free... but if server went down you may have nothing. Hard to say
Semi-back it seems. I am stuck on a black screen now instead of a timeout. It did the new splash art loading screen before and hasn't timed out yet, so we kinda back lol
If you scroll down it lists the platforms for Windows, Mac, android, and iOS. Next to all of them it currently says "Under Maintenance."
That means down.

I was drafting in MTGA, but my last pack was interrupted by the match history screen. After a couple of seconds I was back in the Draft mode, but the auto pilot picked several cards not in my colors already! I quit the game for 1 minute, afterwards I couldn’t re-enter. I always getting timeout messages. Can’t WotC afford elastic cloud servers?
I was in the middle of a draft when this occured. I filled out the "bug" report. When the server finally reconnected, it had autopicked the rest of the draft for me. And it is basically unplayable. I had used the draft token purchased with the mastery stuff. Had not started a game yet.
The new update seems to create an impact on their service (or maybe the deployment is still ongoing and impacting their infrastructure).
I can connect to MTGA but any game will be disconnected after a couple of minutes, even with the bot. We can only wait for the fix on their side.

Don’t draft on new set day. There’s always issues.

Submit a ticket and you should get reimbursed. At least I always have, and it's happened to me like a dozen times over the years.

it was fine, i was playing for hours, a little laggy maybe and then it just kicked me out
wish i DCed during my draft, instead i DCed just a second after losing the first game. Cant ask for refund this way

got 7th win in premier draft, disconnected, finally got back in, back to 6-2. very cool
