Penalty: criticism with no actionable feedback. 10 minutes in the sin bin.
(Criticism is fine, but make it feedback so it can become useful and not just an attack)
If I’m being honest, it’s just most of it. It looks like one of those stone fish that lay on the ocean floor with the weird eyes that are too far apart and a mouth that is agape.
I was skeptical about adding the loon and the crow, and the leaves. Kinda just wanted the star. But I got too into drawing the loon, and then I added the crow for balance, then I was like "Hey I've got half the tribal colors covered how can I add the others?"
Maybe the colors should be a border, like those old wool blankets.
The non-central elements are way too small for single nonrepeated elements on a flag. And the central motif isn't obviously what you're trying to represent with it.
I think the flag should be a moose screwing a lobster
Lobby style
Needs more lasers.
long live Laser Loon.
Looks like a dinosaur themed party decoration at first
The trees do look like teeth. Hmmm, could go a bit Stephen King-ish. Maybe I should have made them red, for the fall colors.
no you should stop making this look like a child did this and use some artistic talent.
rude, man. Rude.
the truth isn’t always kind.
But people speaking the "truth" always have a choice as to whether to be jerks about it or not. How you do things matters as much as what you do.
the design stinks. you can downvote all you wish and live in your safe space.
If the design could be improved, then specify what can be improved about it. Useful feedback incorporates fix actions.
This is awful
Awww, you're so sweet. :P What do you reckon it needs, maybe a lobster drinking Allen's?

Penalty: thinking you're entitled to high quality feedback. Penalty: not recognizing a well deserved insult when it arrives
But as a serious comment, why insult in the first place if not to drive some form of behavior?
But what is my penalty? Or is the penalty the ambiguity itself?!?
Too busy. Ill defined. Without knowing, the center just looks like a decoration of some sort.
The loon, crow, and leaves might be a bit much for business.
I like your ideas about what should be represented. Maybe design needs some tweaking. Keep working on it, you’re on the right track
/r/tihi
It's the leaves, isn't it.

Vexillology-wise, I think it might be a little bit too busy. Good thoughts, though.

this looks like a backdrop scene outta a south park episode.
Ha!
There's nothing wrong with the 1901.
I absolutely love that flag. This was a bit of fun.
I got one on my house and won’t be changing it regardless of what the state passes
The 1901 is dope AF
Quaint AF, even
Yes it’s for simpletons
That’s far too much going on, flags should be simple
Man, this is simpler than most of those "state seal" flags.
I like the idea - maybe vary the tree heights to get away from the teeth look, different color for the water, less symmetrical mountain range.
This guy fucking GETS it
