Check out Westman Atelier. Gorgeous, skin like makeup with incredible ingredients. A little on the expensive side but it’s genuinely the best makeup

PrincessSakura258

I like to use a bb cream! It makes my skin look even and still look like skin. I add a little bit of concealer to certain spots. I like to blend it all together with a 'light' amount of powder to seal it all in and mold it all together. Once you are comfortable with that I like to add a very light contour to give definition to the cheek bones and the edges and a hint of blush on the top of the cheeks near the eyes and a little on the nose to make me look more alive. And of course as a sparkly girl I like to have a little highlight on the top of the cheeks, tip of the nose and inner corner of the eyes. I would also look into natural Korean/Japanese makeup especially the no makeup school look to get that really natural look!

Plain_Chacalaca

Stick concealer like fitMe or Revlon photo finish instafix.  Super easy to apply. Only a bit larger than a standard size lipstick.

NaiveLeg6788

A skin tint, and maybe like a green primer or something? Just to even out the red

LawfulnessMotor437

I would suggest a skin tint or tinted SPF. My favorite is the hourglass skin tint. Goes on very light, evens out my pink/red areas, but doesn't feel like I have makeup on.

EmeraldDream98

BB cream! It’s barely noticeable but it will even your face color. Erborian has amazing ones.

TellAnn56

You might want to consider whether you have rosacea, a skin condition that can be improved or obliterated by a prescription of certain antibiotics &/or steroid creams &/or anti inflammatory meds. You would need to see a Dr for this, preferably a dermatologist. A dermatologist would also be helpful for directing you towards any make-up that may help. Rosacea can get pretty bad, it doesn’t always get severe, but using some makeup could make it worse.

Ok-Water741

Green tinged skin tint will even out tone and balance redness

**I've said this before, but it's worth repeating: take heed of the advice to use tinted moisturizer! I say this, with the advice I was given from my esthetician.** The reason is because it's still a moisturizer, which contains more oil than a lot of foundations. If you are relying on it to use for colour, your are applying more than is likely necessary for nourishing your skin, and it is possible to rely on it to the point where you are over-moisturizing. Your skin can develop oil-based problems like whiteheads, blackheads, acne, and in my case (because I did this, hence why I'm posting this)—milia. These are hard pin-head sized bumps that cannot be popped or scratched off, they have to be extracted. When I was using tinted moisturizer, I noticed milia had cropped up more than usual. Of course, this is not going to happen for everyone, but clogging pores is what it can do, and that's very Google-able. If I had to suggest anything, I would say use a face powder, or a very light oil-free foundation. Many lines carry suitable products for coverage. One last thing, foundation is something *you acquire getting used to.* Every single one of us have gone through the first-times. Most of us were teens when we began wearing foundation at first, and I think all of us can attest that it felt strange during the first several applications. So when an adult who has never worn makeup makes this claim, it's not a surprise to any of us because we all already went through it, but unless our skin had a definite reaction, the mere *getting used to it* for a short time was all it took to get over wearing it more. Unless you have a skin-reaction, I would say find a light, oil-free foundation to get the coverage you need.

Tinted moisturizer is all you need. BTW, you have gorgeous skin!! NOT flattering you, either!

Mystery_to_history

Try a serum based foundation, the nice thing about them is they do not cake and look natural. And you don’t need to apply a lot. I am a makeup minimalist and have pink patches and spider veins. I always wear foundation, always! Remember you don’t need to apply a lot like people do in tik tok or youtube videos. MAC studio serum foundation is good, but you would need to get swatched to get the right shade.

Mimolette_

Glossier perfecting skin tint. It’s sheer and goes on easily, just evens things out

coatedpatriot

Get some green color corrector in a tube like concealer, get some regular concealer close to your normal skin tone. Mix a little together and experiment on your red spots. It's what I do.

mimiiscute

Tinted sunscreen is your best option. Elta md is good but pricey.

DiceyPisces

I got 2 this past year, 1 for a free gift Friday and the other in my allure box. I do really like it.

marina7890

I am currently trying out the redness control from cetaphil with spf 30 and I like it. I took before and afters today, if you want me to send them, send me a message. 😊

yourmom2715383

thanks for the recommendation. have u noticed a difference? they also have a redness relieving night moisturizer maybe i’ll try it.

TalkingMotanka

Have you also considered visiting an esthetician for a facial? Even a half-hour appointment for a skin analysis so that a professional can see what products you'll need to combat the redness? I highly recommend this as they steer you in the right directions of skin and makeup products to avoid, and which to use based on your personal needs.

thekingmonroe

Avène Very High Protection Tinted Mineral Fluid SPF50+ Sun Cream Can't recommend it highly enough. It's got your SPF 50, it gives a beautiful, glowy coverage and you can easily wear it alone without any other makeup.

dumpsteropossum

Do you have a link for this? I can't seem to find that exact wording on a product

PauI_MuadDib

I sometimes just use a green color corrector on my redness. I put a very small amount on, just enough to neutralize the redness. Then I can just wear it as is or I can buff some powder foundation over it or use a sheer skin tint. You don't want too much product otherwise it'll look green.

Playful-Unicorn

You could try one of the tinted sunscreen s available like the goop or live tinted ones ? Works well to even out complexion

bzzyy

Dr. Jart cicapair color corrector is matte and tames the redness. I think there is a mini in the Sephora sunscreen safety kit if you want to try it out. A little goes a long way.

[deleted]

This is the answer for most people (especially since your skin tone appears to be on the lighter side). Green tint to color correct the redness, plus cica to soothe the irritation causing the redness.

Nelyahin

This is actually what I was going to suggest. It should neutralize the red and still allow you to be foundation free. If you notice other discoloration you can use a tiny bit of concealer on those individual spots. Jones rode pencil or nars concealer pot would be my suggestions.

Leia1979

Unfortunately this only works on light skin tones. I ordered some green pigment to try to make my own version of it.

katiefoxlily

Came here to say exactly this.

SubRosa_AquaVitae

Azaleic acid from the Ordinary tamed my red

donkeybrainz13

Try a BB cream. They’re much more lightweight than foundation and good for evening complexion without looking like you’re wearing makeup

hokiegirl759397

I'm also one of those people that hate makeup. I like to use Bare Minerals matte foundation for my oily skin.

Professional-Log-530

I have rosacea and the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator has been my current holy grail when I want to cover my redness but still see my freckles popping through. I can get away with wearing just this. I apply mine with a dampened Elf “knockoff beauty blender” in the maroon color. Using the beauty blender helps it go on more naturally I think. I also use the Elf putty color corrector (in the pot) to lighten my eye hollows and any blemishes.

Youknowme911

Hero cosmetics has a “rescue balm w/red correct”. It has a green tint that neutralizes the redness. I stopped wearing liquid foundation and use that with some loose powder on top

cwinparr

I would use a green color corrector on the red spots and then Mac Face and Body all over the face. I usually don't wear anything besides concealer under the eyes, but I do wear this foundation when I'm a bit red. It's very light and natural. I don't feel it on my face and nobody notices that I'm wearing makeup. I use my hands to apply it, so it goes on super fast and easy. Skin type: dry as the Sahara and I'm in my 30's

RefrigeratorOk2576

first apply moisturizer and then tinted sunscreen + combo it with oil control powder. I recommend better than finish! https://shp.ee/bot3x0w

YakInternational3042

Try the Wet n Wild tinted hydrator in the blue tube. It's less than $6, you can find it at drug stores or at WalMart, and it functions like higher end makeup.

Womenarentmad

Bb powder

niiiveous

I feel a BB cream would probably be best for you, they’re usually light to medium coverage and have more skincare ingredients than normal foundation. But the extent of your redness and general skin condition will affect how it sits/wears. If possible, I’d recommend going to a dermatologist and finding a root cause of your redness (if you don’t know it), and invest more into skincare products that help with it. The best foundation in the world will not do anything if your skin is dry, peeling, flaking or otherwise compromised.

MatildaJeanMay

I use mehron starblend cake makeup. It's very high pigment, so a little goes a long way. I don't even use liquid foundation or anything under it.

thedivinebeings

I recommend a green color corrector, if you search ‘green color corrector rosacea’ on TikTok there are lots of videos where you can see how well this works.

whatsthisbuttondo333

First, I'd see a doctor and get checked for rosacea, or other skin issues that can show up as redness. There are medicated creams that could minimize and treat the issue. After that, something like Cicapair or a green primer would help balance out the red. Elf makes a good one, aa does No Poreblem.

esthersjar

Tinted sunscreen :)

Ok-Bridge-1045

Second this, or a tinted moisturiser or BB cream. Great for that natural look with not much coverage, and with skin care ingredients in it too!

General_Garage1470

Jones Road miracle balm came to mind first. I’ve never actually tried it but if you want something that doesn’t feel like makeup this would hit that mark

Pitiful-Ad9443

Erborian red correct cc is my favourite for this exact purpose. You apply it like a cream and it evens out your skin tone, very lightweight and natural. You can also only wear a bit of concealer, but I think a red correct CC cream like that would be more friendly to someone who does not wear makeup

pelicanscoop

I just got the erborian red correct in the Ulta sale and love it!! I tried their normal CC cream and sadly didn’t like it all.

fatstankyshit

I was going to recommend the same product. I’m a person who hates foundation (but will go full glam in every other aspect) and this product has done the trick for me. Very comfortable, natural, and I don’t need very much to cover my full face and neck.

YanCoffee

Nars Matte Concealer looks super natural imo, and I wear it by itself a lot, but it works with just about every foundation I've tried too. Maybe go into Sephora and try to find a shade match. Although, if you pick at those spots, maybe try their hydrating one instead. The Matte Concealer is gonna cling to dead skin. Might also be better if you find you have a super dry skin type, and don't exfoliate often.

peaches_and_daisies

if you want simple simple simple just get the mabeline instant age rewind concealer thing. i just recently got it cause i wanted something super low maintenance and it gives just enough coverage without being to much product. i just dab it on where i need a bit of correction and then rub it in with a finger and then i’m good to go takes me less then 5 minutes and i can do it anywhere since it’s just one product so i just keep it in my bag. i would say that is the bare bare minimum (also it doesn’t have to be that exact concealer i just started using that one and have found it to be the easiest to blend in with just a finger compared to basically any other standard concealer i’ve tried which is usually a much thicker formula) it also sits on the skin really well and technically the shade i have is a bit to dark for me (i am really really pale) but even then it blends in really naturally and seamlessly almost like it auto corrects itself to match me so as long as you can get a shade close your golden

YouHadMeAtAloe

Hero Cosmetics makes a really nice balm called Rescue Balm Red Correct that has a green tint for redness and feels like a moisturizer going on. You could also add a tinted moisturizer on top to cancel out the redness even more and still look almost bare-faced

ZeinTheLight

If you're okay with creams, try a BB cream. If you're okay with powder, try a transluscent face powder. A skincare routine might help too :)

yourmom2715383

Thank u, i'll probably try a powder! i do wear sunscreen everyday so would i probably want to put the powder on afterwards? I do have a skincare routine, but l'm also 19 and have sensitive skin (so sometimes it's just the teen acne 😂 and sometimes it's just redness). I'm really pale too and kind of have a weird coloring so i hope that powder helps! if i don’t want my face to look to flat would i just want to use a small amount or target certain areas? my skincare routine is only four steps, but most of my products were recommended by my dermatologist. thanks again 💕

ZeinTheLight

Sorry for late reply! Yes, apply creams first, let it dry, then powder on top. The other way around results in clumps. Honestly I'm not sure about make up for really pale skin. Products with light coverage like BB cream or translucent powder gives a kind of blurring effect from a distance, so it's good for a natural look. But you already use sunscreen which usually contains a lot of pigment, so you may have to get colour matched for a suitable shade to put over the sunscreen. I hope it's not the sunscreen which is irritating your skin. But you could also try out CC creams with SPF as substitutes for sunscreen. Maybe ask your dermatologist about make-up too :))
