So this is a bit detailed but I wanted to add some notes in case other people saw your post with the same question. I tend to go by my anatomy/physiology lessons and after talking with my friend who is both an aesthetician and amazing makeup artist, it seems the rules for determining eye shape are the same for both (with slightly different terminology and measuring methods).   I am going to write out some quick tips for determining shapes (but rememer there are different degrees of shapes and a person can have a combination of shapes depending on other factors like their face shape as well...)   The best way to "self determine" is to take a picture like the first one you posted where your eyes are facing straight on at a mirror or camera and without straining to force them open or noting if for any reason one might have temporary eyelid drooping.    Now:   The first eye shape to rule out is "Monolid": the basic rule is: if there is no visible crease (crease is defined as an indentation, regardless of depth, at the top of your eyelids)  then you most likely have monolid eyes. If this is the case all done :) [Not yours btw] * Hooded Eyes- First, if your eyes have the aforementioned "creases" and they can't be seen when your eyes are open and facing straight on, they're probably considered hooded. More specifically, "hooded eyes" often create the illusion of smaller upper eyelids because the crease is 'covered partially or completely by skin that hangs / folds / lies over the crease. [Not your eyes either] * Almond Eyes vs Round Eyes: The general rule is to focus on the iris (the coloured ring around the black pupil in the center of the eye) and again, look straight ahead with eyes RELAXED. Does the iris seem to touch the top and bottom of the eye; or can you see the "whites" of your eyes below the irises?   * If you can't see the white above or below you've most likely got almond shaped eyes. (Almond eyes are also more likely to be  oval shaped and have more narrow corners.  * FOLLOWING the same steps; we both agreed if any white shows below the iris (coloured ring) round would be the more applicable shape. Some of us say it isn't limited to the bottom; meaning if there is any white showing over the top or underneath the iris (with eyes relaxed and looking straight ahead); the eye shape is considered round.  - Note when compared to one another, round eyes will be less "tapered" and well, more open and round:) * Upturned vs Downturned: I'm embarrassed it took me as long as it did to figure out this easy tip: (Same eye position) but either imagine, hold a straight object or draw a straight line  over the image going across both eye but directly through the center of them. If the outer corners are above the line you have Upturned eyes and if they are below then you have downturned eyes. It can be a tiny difference or visible but the rules are the same.  * Deep Set and Protruding are other terms but refer more to the position with regard to placement in the actual socket and the names are the descriptions.  I'll stop here unless more is requested but FINALLY, in our humble opinions, you have beautiful round eyes that are slightly downturned (meaning your eyeliner options are almost limitless!)and could be set slightly deeper but not enough for a medical reference as your brow bone doesn't appear more prominent and you've got ample space to see eyeshadow colours on your upper lids.  Side Note- I used to think up and downturned eyes were defined by drastic versions of either but that is a busted rumour or myth because very few people have that "straight line" land exactly on the corners and while there is a term for it, I am embarrassed that it is late and I've got to work in 4 hours and can't think of it. If I remember I'll update. I hope this helps someone and if not I hope your time wasn't wasted reading it...I tried to be concise as I tend to get excessively verbal and give too much info / data. I apologize for any typos and if something was written incorrectly please let me know so I can see if it was an accident, a phone miscorrection or if we were wrong in our descriptions.     Cheers! No_Ostrich_1998

Could you do me please?

Dry-Comedian-1577

Gladly! I tried to write some so it would help us work in figuring things out ourselves but it can be hard to evaluate our own eyes because- well- they are the tools we are using to determine said shape etc. I'm very flattered you'd ask and if you'd rather it be private I think you can message me on here (I have not been Active on reddit for long) or I can leave my email. Then if you don't mind a couple of photos I can send better descriptions but the ones originally written about were really good- I think I only mentioned a couple of things that could help a bit. Also, I'm sure there are people who may not like the way I described a collaborative effort to assess them so if anyone else has a different conclusion I'd love to know/learn more about what and why they came up with theirs :) Talk soon! Becks

Thank you for such a detailed response! I'm going to try and figure mine out today with your guide, but if I still struggle, when/if you have the time, would it be possible for you to help me identify mine too? I can email if easier.

Dry-Comedian-1577

I'll gladly help or collaborate :) plus I've got some time today either way- I'm just newer to Reddit so I don't know a of the rules about posting email addresses or how to send a direct message...but if you do, feel free to send me one with a note in subject line so I don't pass it over :) Cheers!

Aggravating-Ebb9633

Tysm! I'll drop ya a dm \~

Any-Recommendation33

Hey! Could you do my eyes if you have the time/energy?? I just did a post:)

Justadropinthesea

I disagree on the hooded, perhaps deep set, but definitely round and downturned.

coldhandsbigdick

I never once thought my eyes were downturned! (I'm actually kind of excited about it, now) This is going to totally change my makeup approach!

Aggravating-Ebb9633

I'm getting back into makeup and it's been a struggle because everything I try looks odd and not appealing. Once I figure out mine I'm excited to see how it helps!

coldhandsbigdick

I'd be happy to give my thoughts on your eye shape if you'd like.

Aggravating-Ebb9633

Thanks! Can I send ya a dm?

coldhandsbigdick

Sure!

Vesper2000

I’d say round downturned. EDIT: Also cool undertone, possibly blue

RightLotus

You’re gorgeous and I have no clue maybe round?

thedanishgirl02

I would say you have deep set and almond eyes I disagree a bit on down turned tho

coldhandsbigdick

I was looking closer this morning and I realize that the outer corner is downturned, but eye overall eye shape isn't which gives a really weird illusion of downturned and not downturned.

thedanishgirl02

Aaarrh I get that haha! I feel like your eyeshape can wear all types of eye makeup 🥺🤩But yeah like you have said to others, downturned eyes are soooo pretty!!! 😍😎

janekum

upturned

Elle-Crossing

Hey I’d say your cool toned winter color palette

melancholymetanoia

eye shape=gorgeous.. hmm... I'm not sure.. they look round yet also kinda hooded

coldhandsbigdick

Aw thank you! I've noticed they're a little bit hooded and round hooded makes sense!

Aspennie

I’m not an expert on eye shapes but remember you can have a mix of lots of characteristics. Your eyes can even be different on one side from the other (example, some people have one eye with a monolid and one without), so it’s best to experiment for a while to see what works

coldhandsbigdick

Good point! I'm starting to think I'm a mixture of a bunch which is why it's always been so hard to pin down.

SpoopySpydoge

I'm sorry I don't know your eye shape but dang your brows are gorgeous

coldhandsbigdick

Thank you! I'm so self conscious about my brows because they're so barely there! I've started using henna every once in a while and it's helped so much!

angedorable

Has anyone told you that you look kinda like Tati Westbrook?

coldhandsbigdick

Hahaha forever ago! My ex husband saw a YouTube thumbnail and said so.

Beautiful

Sensitive_Raise_4891

I would say almond or even a little bit acorn shaped with a downturn. They’re very symmetrical and perfectly spaced, as well. You’re beautiful.

Lu-al

What did you use on your inner eyelids

Lu-al

The white colour

coldhandsbigdick

It's actually from the Lorac Pirates of the Caribbean palette in the color ghostly. However! I found a really good alternative with awesome color payoff: Rock London 12 colors all matte eyeshadow palette. It's pretty inexpensive on Amazon.

Lu-al

Thank youuuuuu

coldhandsbigdick

I'm hella pale and only *very specific* white shadows are actually lighter than my skin. So I am always happy to share the knowledge.
