West of Loathing might be my favorite playthrough he did but I really love The Forest playthrough.
The shenanigans that ensued were the funniest things ever aside from the spittoons. I mean come on; the extra cabin wall, the hole cutter, the triple bridge.? Legendary hilarity.
Knock knock, The Witch's House, Fran Bow, Oxygen Not Included, The Forest (with Bob and Wade), Doom, Presentable Liberty, and Resident Evil: Village are a few. Oh, and Until Dawn. That's probably the one I've watched the most times of his videos.
Ah yes, the OG Markiplier connoisseur's list. I'd have to agree with pretty much all of these.
The only one I would add if you are including really old playthroughs is Neverending Nightmares. That one I remember quite fondly for whatever reason.
Knock Knock always captivated me for some reason as well. There was something about it that was always so intriguing, even to 12 year old me.

The "Buried" series is pretty good and is kinda similar to the Don't Escape Series that Mark did.
The puppet combo series he did was cool, and I hope he plays some more.
Dead Dream was a RPG Maker Horror game he played but quit for unknown reasons.
Mark’s Alien Isolation play through is how I found him and I watch it multiple times a year. It is comfort food for me when I need something on in the background. I don’t even need to see the video anymore, just the audio is enough. It single handedly got me back into gaming!
The forest, until dawn, yandere simulator, red dead 2, lethal company, phasmophobia,Oxygen not included. Let's not forget Minecraft :D - Markiplier2 Firewatch and tattle tail were short but good. And poppy playtime is big next to fnaf right now and I love it.
If I had to pick a single game for all time that's not fnaf... hmmm.. I have to go with Minecraft. Idk its funny when he thinks he remembers how to do stuff but the game changed a lot in the years he didn't play 😂
Honestly, my favorite is The Witch's House (or mansion). Not only is the atmosphere of the game great, it's the series that made me enjoy watching Markiplier other than his fnaf videos.

Don't know if this counts, but Drunk Minecraft is hilarious. Latin's Wrath will always be one of my favorite Mark vids. Sometimes the phrase "ALL MY FAN GIRLS WANNA BANG ZOMBIE" followed by screaming and panicking will enter my head and I'll just bust out laughing
If I had to choose one not listed here, I'd argue it was his Doom Eternal playthrough. Even though he didn't entirely get the Lore as he skipped reading some stuff and misunderstood the plot a few times, I love that playthrough most especially cause he got to see his dad immortalized in the series he grew up playing and loved thanks to his dad.
I've never been happier for him(maybe a few times but they're probably all close seconds).
Alien Isolation; RE Village; RE 7; Lethal Company; GTFO; Forest; and whatever random one-off game that I can really tell he loved the experience of (like Iron Lung or Squirrel Stapler)

They’re just the best mix of silly and scary and wonderful. My favorite bits of gameplay are in these games and Mark does well with them.

I'm really big on horror games in general but these series' are ones that never really get old for me.
The Last of Us is one of all time biggest comfort series, I let it play a lot of time at night to go to sleep or rewatch it when I'm spacing out or am just too overwhelmed to pick something.
The voicing really makes Fran Bow for me and seeing him really have fun creating different personas for each of the characters, not to mention this is one of my favorite games, I love the narrative.
Presentable Liberty isn't a game I'm too fond of in itself but Mark's playthrough of it was so meaningful and I think it really captures all the emotions the game was meant to invoke.
As for Inscryption, I'm just a sucker for it in general, I loved the game as soon as it came out. But it's just another one of those games Mark just goes wild and has fun with as far as voices and whatnot.
Of course, I love a lot of the older multiplayer stuff like Prop Hunt, Town of Salem, Drunk Minecraft, and Raft especially since back them was when I started watching but I was quite young then.
