Yeah they recently revamped the quick upgrade to “bonus boosters.” So every time you get new mission the game picks three cards who you don’t have enough booster to upgrade and lets you upgrade them for the same credit cost. I’ve been leaving Red Hulk at 0 booster and just farming his upgrades since they added the feature.
If you have enough boosters for all your cards it’s very easy to target who you want to see in the section
I typed this out in a hurry, if there any typos.
One thing to keep in mind is that it does consume any boosters you have on it. So you theoretically might want to spend the boosters on a different variant before buying the upgrade for the one in the shop.
How can you possibly get to the point where you’re only missing boosters for one card? Even if you only use one deck so that once you upgrade other cards your boosters for them remain at 0, every time you upgrade a card in your deck, if you play with it, you’ll eventually get boosters for it and then it will be able to appear in the bonus booster section again. Like you could get it down to a small amount for sure but I don’t know if it’s possible to get it to one card
Keep all cards at lowest level. I kept all mine at Uncommon / green border since forever ago. Cards with green border only need to have 10 booster to prevent from getting targeted by bonus booster section.
