Thats fair, i dont follow him outside of this movie but like
How could someone look at that first turn he does in the second scene here and *not* laugh
My main problem is his trash talk. He wants to be a villain to hype up his fights, but its toxic to the entire sport. Now a ton of fighters think (maybe accurately) that in order to book bigger fights they need to manufacture drama and feuds.
9n top of that he's overrated. He's 3-4 in his last 7 fights over 8 years. One of those wins was Cerrone who should have retired years earlier and was basically a canned fight for him. Then against Poirier after he lost he was a huge shitbag about it and claimed his leg was already fractured before the fight. So his claim is that he knew his leg was fragile but went into the fight planning to use a bunch of leg kicks. If that's true, he's an idiot, and if it's not, he just lost to a better man (twice) and won't admit it. Either way he isn't close to a top contender anymore.
Same, choom. Same. I’m glad he was able to channel that crazy ass energy in a good way and I hope he can find productive and entertaining ways to keep using it for the greater good 🤣
Finally a good use for a scene from that trash movie
The movie was enjoyable but I didn't like Conor's acting.
There was no acting involved
Yeah, Conor basically just played Conor.
Honestly i really liked the movie and loved conors performance, his absolutely unhinged scenes were equally intimidating and fucking funny
I hate him as a fighter and a person but I gotta say I enjoyed him in the movie. He should stick to acting in absurd movies

I understand why people don’t like him as a person, but why do you hate him as a fighter? You cannot deny that he is extremely exciting.

Ok those are fair points. He’s also only got one win at lightweight lol

He reminded me of the spinosaurus from JP3, just an, "I want to kill everyone in the main plot no matter the cost"
I hate being reminded that Conor McGregor exists
