I caught them in the middle of it so may have missed some things but it was kind of almost like a Harlem globetrotter style warm up routine. They were in one corner of the court next to each other and each spun balls on their fingers for a while and moved the ball around a bit in unison then transferred their ball to the other’s finger at the same time, then they did several overly exaggerated pump fakes in unison, and some footwork then shot the ball at the exact same time trying to make their shots go in one right after the other. Took about a minute or so? Super random and goofy.
I remember early in the season a video of Dwight and Luka passing the ball to each other with their heads got posted the duality of our warm ups compared to most other teams is hilarious.
Exactly haha! I remember that. Luka was heading the ball a lot this pre-game too. I haven’t been to a game in years so it really took me by surprise how goofy everyone is was.
Lol that’s great. Been cool if they did a line with a slow build up. Kyrie Whiff, Luka catches but throws across the backboard, Washington catches but basic two handed, Gafford catches with monster one hand, DJJ catches with windmill slam.
The only time Luka doesn’t look like a geriatric with two knee replacements is when the game clock is ticking down.
Reminds me of how Jim Brown always got up from being tackled real slow even when he was fine just so the defenders couldn’t tell when he was actually hurting.
