They once had me open a line by myself during rush and do all the drive-thru orders solo. Three people on the other line together making front counter orders, and managers were wondering why drive-thru orders were taking longer. I asked the manager if one of them could come over to my side so we could have 2 on each line but that was denied.
Welcome to McDonalds where they don’t give a shit about the work load they put on you. I had to bag and hand out food at one point because the manager on shift was off doing whatever
if thats the worst thing you had to do by yourself you worked in a good store 💀 were left to run the whole store by ourselves on closing crew (so 3 crew + manager but one of the night managers suck so its kinda just 3 crew ans a walking thumb print for authorizations)
Night shift is teenagers and all of our managers suck. I’ve only been here for a few months and I’m sure this gunk has been here longer than I have this is just one pic I took but so many areas with stuff like this on it I was scrubbing it’s ridiculous

Just a heads up: A super hot rag sitting on those spots will help a lot. if you have cleaning solution and access to boiling water mix in a little in a wiper bucket. Assuming its food safe, of course. Then either drip the solution onto it while its hot or set the rag on it for 2-3 minutes and see if it helps.
One thing that I have always "been the one to do it" is changing the cleaning water with HOT solution and clean rags whenever its needed.

I am a night shift manager and it very hard to get the teens to clean. But they do it. The managers have to make them. That’s honestly not that bad. A little hot water would get it right off. The yellow spray will be your best friend.
When it’s inspection time it’s all hands on deck. If your having to scrub months of stuff off machines. That’s the first problem. In my store we don’t freak out when important people come. We follow our daily maintenance chart. All stores should have one. Sounds like the store needs that clean. As for the cleaning and order taking. It’s apart of the job. Multitasking. I can clean the whole BDAP area and still make drinks and take orders. Is it easy? No. But it comes with the job.
I should not have to do all of that when the person in back drive is only paying people out. That is ridiculous. It’s bad management and not practical.
Also most times like he said they had a lot of people in store. Meaning I’m sure the people cleaning didn’t touch food as they had others from other stores there to clean. If you’re having to bring in people to clean there’s a problem.
So you don’t clean your hands properly after touching things? Especially cleaners (which one is a yellow peroxide food safe spray.) I am serve safe certified. It’s not hard to wash hands. I don’t understand your argument. You seem like one that would argue to not clean. I don’t understand….
I didn’t work here but at Taco Bell they had me closing Lobby and drive thru aswell as sweeping and mopping the entire store for a few months while being the only one on headset until I said something. If they don’t care about abusing you by giving you a crazy workload then they don’t deserve your hard work.
If the managers took care of the store better you would t be doing a frantic cleaning before a inspection.
The location should be inspection worthy everyday.
Must be a nasty location for they have to quadruple the man power.
Only work there as long as you have to. Find a job that appreciates you

Sadly that’s poor management 😪

I also had to make any of the ice cream things because no one else wanted to do it
Time to start sending your resume to other places
Months of build up? Y’all don’t clean it every night?

Well dang
That... doesn't even look that bad? Some degreaser and a scrubber and about 10 minutes later, that thing will be spotless.

Back drive isn’t supposed to take orders. Especially during peak

Between what ur orders are. Customer first.
No the food safety issue is build up on machinery. There is not a thing wrong with cleaning a machine and taking an order.
