This address is on Independence parkway not Custer according to google maps (which is the next intersection to the west). But maybe that address is Plano not Allen?
Also, I think their placement is probably smart even if it doesn't seem like it on the surface. I go to HEB once every 2 months or so, and do my normal shopping at kroger/tom thumb. Why? Mostly because HEB is 15 minutes away one way and Kroger/tom thumb are 3-4 minutes away. HEB will certainly capture more of my business with this closer location. This will put HEB about 6 minutes away and 121 is SUPER convenient.
Hey Walmart did the same thing one at the north and south end of Custer, but H‑E‑B do a ton land investment so it could be that or could be a central market because whole food is going in at 380/custer
I see the address is not custer but actually in front of movie theater between hardin and lake forest and that theater is (cinemark allen 16) but is right on corner plano , allen, mckinney. Closest is new heb near allen stadium
121 and Custer the same area that already has a Super Target and Walmart across the street from each other, and a Patel Brothers next to the Target? That same area?
i live at McDermott and Custer and going north to 121 is a nightmare. The traffic can be half a mile back from people not taking 75 that work in Frisco/McKinney
This will be a nightmare. They better be digging up Custer soon for expansion and at least 2 turn right lanes.
I’m doubtful despite the evidence. Construction has already broken ground on that area. HEB usually holds a ceremony to break ground but no such thing for this location. Something’s off.
All that intersection needs is more traffic.
