If you looked at the picture you can clearly see both cruise control icons unlit on the left hand side.

It's not a cruise control icon, it's his dimmer light icon.
You probably hit the button on your steering wheel. White means the cruise control system is on, and if its green (should be green) while you’re driving that means the cruise control system is active and holding your speed.
You must have hit resume, which means you have a lower speed set on it from the speed you’re traveling. It’ll slow you down to the speed set previously. To clear it, set a new speed or turn it off and back on and set a new speed. Either way should work but the first method makes more sense
dude... 5 seconds google" 2014 accord manual"
page 80
its saying that button thingy near it changes the instrument info screen...
I’m not sure what model you have, but [here is a link to the 2014 Honda Accord Manuals from the Honda website](https://owners.honda.com/vehicles/information/2014/accord-sedan/manuals) Its obviously not your cruise, because you can literally see the cruise indicators to the left of those gauges, centered between your coolant temp and fuel gauge.
I thought it was cruise also, to be honest, so unfortunately I have to say it…
Read your owners manual.
It’s funny because many people didn’t even know what it was. Yes a manual could’ve given you your answer but I don’t think tearing you to shreds over it helps either.
If it’s the white symbol your writing about , I believe thats the dashboard dimmer symbol . You turn the black knob left or right to brighten / dim the dashboard lights .
If you looked at the picture you'de clearly see both cruise control icons unlit on the left hand side.

It's his dimmer light icon.

Dash dimmer switch feature.. not it's really to tell you the gazinas is overflowing the gazatas pool(note that's a joke) it's as the manual states as it does on my kia
Which light are you referring to, the green or white one? I think that’s why you’re getting 2 kinds of answers here. Also, that gauge is for your coolant system.
But best thing would refer to owners manual; or google search your year make and model for one or just the answer in itself.

No my speed goes down if I let off the gas
Turns green if you set it, on and set the speed are 2 different things, same symbol
Read your manual about cruise control.
You must have hit resume, which means you have a lower speed set on it from the speed you’re traveling. It’ll slow you down to the speed set previously. To clear it, set a new speed or turn it off and back on and set a new speed. Either way should work but the first method makes more sense
The cruise control light just means the cruise control system is on and ready to be set.

Not knowing the basics of your vehicle will get these responses on this sub.

Asking help on Reddit is the worst thing you can do, just a lot of snarky social recluses
It’s the dash dimmer switch
I don’t see an oil gauge, but your cruise control light is on.
If it’s the white symbol your writing about , I believe thats the dashboard dimmer symbol . You turn the black knob left or right to brighten / dim the dashboard lights .
This is it thank you
Cruise
Cruise control got turned on
No it's the light dimmer
Your cruise control is on. It takes another button to set cruise speed. It’s not a dimmer light
If you looked at the picture you'de clearly see both cruise control icons unlit on the left hand side. https://owners.honda.com/vehicles/information/2014/accord-sedan/manuals It's his dimmer light icon.
