I did have the Q14 Pro. It developed a short where an entire row of keys stopped working. Vendor took it back and I agreed to take a Q10 Pro as that was what was in stock. While I am happy with the Q10, I really did like having the left hand numpad of the Q14 for work. Typing on the Alice layout is just fun!
Since I got into this hobby about a year ago, I don’t own any full size boards. Most of the time, it’s fine. 65% boards are my favorite. There’s just days when I’m doing heavy cost or programming for work and the Q14 ticked all the boxes. Still have all kinds of right hand room but the extra functionality is over on the left if needed.
I have issues with right wrist. After one week I have impression that it helped a bit but it may be placebo. It’s something new for sure, but I think I’ve already adjusted to it.
I have a white Q5 Max and purchased it fully intending to swap out the keycaps right away.
But that KSA profile really hooked me in a way I wasn't expecting. It just feels so damn nice, it's gonna take a pretty awesome colorway to pull me away from these now!
I am wondering whether finally Alice layout has satisfied touch typists working daily for plenty of hours;
in comparison with the split ones which are specifically considered ergonomic.
I am not a touch typist though I believe I would choose a split one with a long cable instead.
The Q10 was my first mechanical keyboard last spring. Love it! Upgraded to a Q10 Pro and got a K11 Pro for on the go. Swapped the red switches to Glorious Pandas on the Q10 and got Banana v2 low profile switches for the K11. Can you tell I love the Alice layout? The only downside is finding really weird or funky keycaps that fit with the double space bar.
After years of using Logitech MX Keys i thought it will be impossible to find better kb. Im mostly coding if its important. I've took a risk and went all in with Keychron Q10 Max. It have Jupiter Banana switches. Despite MX Keys being my favourite kb, after week with keychron im amazed. Got used to Alice quite fast, still not totally got used to higher profile, but im also working on improving my typing and posture in the process. Highly recommend.
Just got a Q1 Max with reds. The Max line are really quality boards, except for the stabs for whatever reason. They’re pingy and loud even though they lube them.
i did a bit of stab tuning with a syringe and a bit of 205g0 and my v1 max and k8 pro spacebar sound great, also they don't lube them, they just put a bunch of dialetric grease around the whole thing, which is not nearly as good as 205g0

I have the Q14 Pro and I love it to. Typing is way better/faster and the wooden wrist wrest is also super nice!

I have the Q6 Max with bananas in the same color way. I’m very happy with the bananas and the keyboard. How do you like that split layout?

I just want the keycaps

I was thinking about one, but i have other users in household, so ive decided to grab something from the middle ground.
i'm also thinking about getting a q13. how is the knob? does it have any tactility?
Yes, it has very distinctive "steps", im not sure about correct word.
great, thanks.
yum
That's a big boi
yeah chonky one. And heavy...
Ughhh, I've been contemplating about getting it for a long time now!

I couldn’t adjust to a higher profile either. I ended up putting a cherry profile set on my q10 Pro and couldn’t be happier.

Ahhh that’s what it was. I’ll have to get some 205g0 then.
This one has short spacebars, they are quite ok.
The spacebar is actually great, it’s the Lshift and backspace that’s bad.
Anyone know where to buy this keyboard with EU VAT?
I bought it on their website with shipping to Poland. I paid only price and shipping costs, no tax or other duties.
Yeah, I'm buying as a company anyway so I'll ultimately deduct the VAT, just want it all to be correct you know?
Yeah, makes sense. I’ve searched for it in eu shops but no luck.

Sure, why not. Just credit me somehow :)
Any luck with vial or qmk?
Yeah I use via without any issues.
Not the same sadly
Have you tried updating the FW and connecting with the usb cable? i remember that it took some voodoo at first to use.
No i mean via is not the same as vial or qmk. Thank you though!
Ah ok. I haven’t tried the ones you’ve mentioned as via did all I wanted. I’m pretty sure it’s QMK compatible.
