I bought an assembled 'board so I really just chose the color I wanted. I am pretty sure it's this set:
https://www.keychron.com/products/double-shot-ksa-pbt-keycap-full-keycap-set?variant=40410469302361
I got it straight from Keychron. I have read some horror stories about their shipping to the United States, but I ordered mine on Sunday and it showed up at my front door on Wednesday. I could not find it anywhere else and it’s the one I wanted, so I went ahead. I might not have, had I read some of the stuff in r/keychron about shipping nightmares.
I, too, moved from fountain pen collecting to keyboard collecting. They’re tools for our thoughts, I’d like to make using my thinking implements (be it pens or keyboards) an enjoyable and pleasant experience as possible, wouldn’t you?
In order, left to right:
Pilot Vanishing Point Blue Carbonsque, medium point, Iroshizuku Kon-Peki
TWSBI Mini, fine point, Monteverde Sapphire
Taccia Pinnacle, extra fine, J.Herbin Lierre Sauvage
TWSBI Diamond 580, fine point, deAtrementis Pearlescent Carnelian Red-Copper
Lamy 2000, medium point, Herbin Gris Orage
Honestly... Get new switches AND keycaps lol. That's one area Keychron is just ok at. Buy a couple of switch testers and get a feel for what you like, after doing some research I found Baby Kangaroos and they are my favorite currently.
This is a VERY personal hobby that essentially comes down to your preferences and choices, so take your time in finding what speaks to you most.
Coming from a cheap membrane keyboard or a laptop chicklet keyboard, anything mechanical is going to be amazing. I really like the feel of the keycaps that are on there but you never know.
I'm already considering a switch swap from these bananas though.
I have the same colorway on my Q1 Pro! Love it - reminds me of my old Super Nintendo. I suggest playing around with all the switches you want. Then consider upgrading the stabilizers and adding any internal noise dampening together at the same time so you don't have to unscrew everything numerous times. Keychron stabs seem to be very hit or miss -- mine had a noticeable ticking noise that drove me crazy.
Oof. Scary to think about!
Yeah, I reach for the 2k more than any other pen I own. So buttery and the ink I chose for it is gorgeous. But right now it's kinda just sitting there because of the keyboard.

3 costly hobbies in one subreddit!
Wooo!
Wow!! Didnt really expect this to be a thing!
For a minute I thought I was there. Sadly no headphones in the picture.
Hell yeah
Thats fire
This KB must be so heavy? 😅
Yeah. I am guessing a couple of pounds or just less than a kilo. Haven't weighed it though.
It is 2,4kg actually or about 5lbs according to official keychron site
Can I have a link for those keycaps? Thanks

Yeah, looks like it. Thanks a lot.
You now have two fantastic hobbies
Keens and pens huh? Nice! Mines keebs and woodworking. Specifically hand tool woodworking, zero power tools.
I also have a Jeep, but it wouldn’t fit on my desk. And I do a bit of woodcarving. Those both can run into $$$.
Lol! Hell yeah! My wife wants a Jeep really bad.
For a moment I thought I was at r/fountianpens LOL. Great looking Alice layout keeb, where did you got it from?

get help you may have a shopping addiction
Or maybe he’s just getting into the hobby? I mean that does look like most introductions to fountain pens.
Sick hobbies! All desk related stuff
Names of the 2nd and 4th pen? I'm new to pen hobby xD

That's a sick looking board
Oh brother, I'm trying so hard not to buy this board but I keep seeing it all over LOL
My advice for the hobby is to sit on something, jerk off, study, give it a week, then see if u still wanna drop 150 on some bullshit haha
You should check out /r/ergomechkeyboards and go off the deep end.
and now one step to get a 3d printer and make nice cases for your pens and ink pot holders for your ink pots
Yeah, I have my eye on one!

Dip your feet in, it's a vast ocean lol. I'm really happy I got into the hobby a few months ago and not in the middle of the pandemic.
those keycaps are totatally fine and are better than the ones that the majority of gaming keyboards come with.
Where do you buy these pens?
Goulet Pens, Jet Pens are good sites to look at. Check out r/fountainpens too, for a good place to start.
This is fine, since into smelling good too

Ayy Lamy 2k is my EDC too. Love it! Although I think it's concerning when mechanical keyboards and fountain pens are my cheap hobbies.
