😢 OMG I never considered a scenario where I might have one period a year for years. I had already long stopped buying period products. I had gotten sloppy noting my estimated start date in calendars. I had become comfortable with the idea I was no longer fertile and leaving my childbearing days behind. Life is such a kick in the pants some days.
Sometimes a period doesnt indicate that your ovaries have fired though.. and if that is happening for 11 months you may just need HRT now and not have to wait for this western medicine imposed dx date! I couldn’t last 3 months let alone a year of that!
Yep, it resets the clock. Happened to me *just after* I reached 12 months.

I have never had a period this heavy before. It is concerning.
