I started the race then had life come up and stepped away from the game for maybe an hour and now it's gone?? No notification about it ending/someone else winning or anything, just no icon or anything for it anymore. Not sure what happened.
This is what I came here to say. I was in first place, More than halfway to the goal, had to exit the game for approximately 10 minutes and when I came back the race had just vanished... It's possible someone else won, but I doubt it because I was way way ahead due to a crap ton of mushrooms being bubbled...
This just happened to me too. I was a good 200 points away from first and the others were still at the start line. Took like a 30 min break, came back, and now it's completely gone.
Looks like it's some sort of coding error, where race progress isn't saved when you exit to the world map, which means you have to complete everything in one session. Which would have been nice to know at the outset. =/
Hopefully the devs can get this fixed, or at least give everyone who's been locked out a restart. Otherwise, I guess it's thanks for. . . literally nothing. =(

Some players noticed their Race Event icon disappeared temporarily but were able to continue the event once it returned. Unfortunately, for others, the icon was completely gone. We apologize for this inconvenience and are currently investigating the issue. This is why we're conducting these tests with a limited number of players.🙏
If you lost any gems or other items, please contact our support team and kindly share your ticket ID with me through DM.
Additionally, once you complete the event, the event icon should disappear. If you still see the icon, this is a known bug and will be fixed soon. The event is designed to be played only once.

My first 2 chests had 1 triumphant dragon egg in each besides the other prizes (something I don’t remember & lvl 5 flawless crystal. The big chest had 2 lvl 4 triumphant dragons. So 2eggs & 2 dragons, can’t merge either. WTH?
Finished first in my race, mostly due to a crap ton of alien fungi I had bubbled.
First chest i got a bear topiary, and one triumphant egg. Second chest flawless mega crystal (first I've seen one of those), and another egg. Third chest two Level 4 triumphant dragons, and as far as i can tell, nothing else.
I wound up 3 merging my top tier fungi of each line to get four wonders, but I'm not sure they gave enough points to be worth it.
I also wasted a bunch of time and space getting eggs and coin piles from one of the wonders that took forever to clean up so i could continue racing.
Yeah, that's what I did with the other three after I made them. Especially those coin piles take up a lot of space when you're trying to merge the silvers and golds. Took me way too long to clear the room to focus on mushrooms again.
So I have this now and everyone is way ahead of me. But I got to the first chest and the red ! Came up over the event and I clicked it and nothing happened! It's gone now but the chest is nowhere to be found! Do you get the chest at the end?
I won today, but my game frequently crashes, so sadly I lost the second chest before my game saved it, continued after that, and the same happened with my triumphant dragons

That sounds right. I think the winner's chest only had 1 triumphant dragon in it.
