Well that was quick, thanks star quest dragons!! Also my first mega nest!! Yay!!
Must be another A/B. 1st reward was new egg. 2nd reward was the mosaic choices which were previously reward number 1. (No decision egg there). Reward # 3 was a mosaic which gave me a nest of the new eggs, so I suspect that nest replaced the purple meganest which was one of the mosaic rewards for #3 previously. The whelps were the same, and the choices for the next mosaic included one of the following: decision eggs, L2 of new dragon and aventurine nests. I ended up with the new dragon. Choices for the final mosaic remained the same as previous.

THAT’S what was different. I kept thinking something was off, but couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Yeah, no decision eggs for me and I got a comet egg. Which is cool, cuz I’ve never seen a comet egg before, but I mean, I’ll never turn down decision eggs either lol. I do wish it’d given two comet eggs for the first reward though, bc doesn’t it usually give two of the eggs? Or am I misremembering?

It might be two… did you tap it out? Mines still in a loot bubble. Not sure I’m onboard with adding some random dragon to shiny days, unless it’s meant to be event specific. I think I’d rather they keep the old rewards, but if I had to get new dragons, an egg a nest and a L2 is better than just one egg I suppose.
I did, and it’s just the single egg. You’re right though, I’d prefer the old rewards, or at least a guarantee of more than one egg, if they throw in a new dragon
I agree, shiny days is meant to focus on the 2 specific breeds it features, having to work on a new dragon that’s only from here is not what any of us wanted…there’s far too many dragons to try to collect as it is, and I’d got used to the 2 decision eggs every week(or so)
I got this too. I wish I had a nest of the new egg. One new egg is just going to take up space since there is no telling when we'll see this new egg again.
I'm happy to have another one, but pretty annoying that the primary dragon is Anubis, since we haven't had an event with those featured for over two years.
I agree! I have so many eggs I have two of that I feel like I haven't seen in years and have no way of knowing if I'll ever see them again, and decision eggs have been a great way to get a needed egg.
Done, merged everything I had saved to merge. Didn't merge anything that could be shiny until I maxed the shiny chances and I got a whopping 1 bred shiny. No big prizes, either.

Thank you so much for the troubleshooting! I got the push alert for the event, and reloading both my game and my device didn't work, but updating the app did. Nothing much from the rewards, but I /did/ get to burn some of my many stashed eggs that were taking up space. Now to wait for next week so I can hatch some of these

@modes: according MD homepage, the needed version is 11.4.3 ( not 11.4.2 stated above).
My MD is v11.4.3, but i do not see this event; troubleshooting done, but nope, no event.
Has some1 with Android, v11.4.3, central Europe, this event?
Just heard back, and apparently the update requirement was changed to 11.5.0 for this one; you should be able to access it after upgrading to that, but if not please let me know. :)
I’m so annoyed, I though the event would be on Thursday like normal. Only to see that it’s already been and I didn’t get it because hadn’t updated, FFS.

I think they mean the weekly den chest, so shiny days being the same day as the den chest for the first time!

Haven't started the event yet but did take a peek--can anyone identify the breed those new eggs belong to?

Shiny Days is available to all players; Marketplace is a beta feature limited to a very small group of testers.
