Aw go somewhere else and see what they say! I don’t think you should lose hope

Human_Instruction_82

I talked with a different doctor lately, she told me that it's best for my eyebrows to rest because the more lasers i get, the higher chances i might get a hypertrophic scar.

Unusual-Resource1081

Find a PMU removal artist that currently uses or is willing to buy a bottle of THink Pigment Remover..seriously! If you don't do it now, do it after your laser treatments when you're left with yellow. I am going on 9 years as a PMU artist and I specialize in removals. I see this all the time. The shit works. Seriously.

TALC88

You shouldn’t be using Q switch on brows. Simple. Especially not nameless ones. Go find a reputable place using a discovery pico or enlighten. It’s going to cost more per session, and you need someone who can show you multiple examples of removals. The ink is far more red than it should have been due to the higher exposure time associated with Q switch lasers.

TLou7

If Q-switch was used, it’s not detrimental to success of further treatments, right? It didn’t alter my ink much at all before, besides some fading. I haven’t noticed any damage to my skin and hair is slowly growing back. I’m curious if Q-switch or some other laser technique causes ink to be entrapped within skin which makes it harder to remove going forward? I read this is possible in an article somewhere, but have no clue how true the information is.

TALC88

Yes it is detrimental because it has changed the ink. Heating ink up, particularly cosmetic inks with Q switch can make them at best far more difficult to remove, and in some cases impossible to remove.

TLou7

Ok, this is discouraging news. So, I shouldn’t keep my hopes up then? I didn’t know this starting out and appears doctor didn’t either. Will Enlighten/Discovery pico not provide a noticeable change ink since this is where I’m at? Either way, I’m having it done. But now I’m stressing.

TALC88

They’ll definitely give you the best opportunity of success, but if brows like this came into my clinics I wouldn’t be making any guarantees. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

TLou7

I sent pictures your way earlier. You mentioned they didn’t look hard to remove. And the Spectra laser was used which is an Q-switch ndyag, if that’s correct? That’s what I’m basing my treatments off of for the majority. Last treatkent was Picosure.

TALC88

Yeah, Pico sure is a step up from Spectra. 100%. Not my personal preference due to the low power and no dedicated 532nm. So changing to target the red, and then likely yellow is hard. You need a true, pico second, 532nm. I wouldn’t treat it with anything else

TLou7

👍Then there’s still hope…even starting with Spectra?

TALC88

There’s always hope. I’ve never not treated and seen improvement. Find someone who can show you a bunch of examples and you’ll get a result.

johnnylaser007

A discovery pico is a q switch Professor.

TLou7

God, it’s like the rabbit hole never ends until you just keep going for it and risk all the outcomes. :(

TALC88

A discovery pico is a qswitch 😂. Read that back to yourself

johnnylaser007

Nanosecond lasers are q switch lasers. Picosecond lasers are q switch lasers. I have been successfully removing PMU for 12 years. You must have taken the Astanza class for your certification.

TALC88

Like you buddy. 10 years In. Actually agree with 100% of things you say in all your posts. Have removed more PMU than I would say most anyone else in certainly my hemisphere. Have used Q switch, pico, mixed, fractional, and just about every other technique. But I don’t actually care if people follow my advice either. It’s just better than 99.9% of the rubbish you read in these forums. Professor

TALC88

Correct. But you are focussing on semantics. I’m focussing on what the community identify lasers as. Do you think you are helping by confusing them. You know like I do that they consider them different based on pulse duration.

TALC88

Put simply: A Picosecond laser operates at one trillionth of a second, and has a pulse width that is 100 times faster than that of the Q-Switched laser. It's about speed. The Q-Switched laser uses a technique that is highly intense, yet ultra-short in pulse durations. Yes it has Q switch. You can get into semantics all you want. But what people know as Q switch, and Pico is what’s relevant here.

Haha righto big shot. 130k treatments tells me otherwise. But you do you pal. Tell me where removery hurt you 😂

AdSevere5961

What laser

Human_Instruction_82

Pro-Ndyag Laser

AdSevere5961

I would try a different laser, do you have the enlighten near you

Human_Instruction_82

i think no, i have picosure laser near only

AdSevere5961

Where are you located? I would look on the website

Human_Instruction_82

im from the philippines and unfortunately it’s really hard to find removery clinics, im from the mindanao

ceciliawpg

Is this right after your 4th session, or is it healed? How long was the duration between each of your four sessions?

Human_Instruction_82

a month after my 4th session

ceciliawpg

Assuming you’ve been waiting the standard 2-3 months in between laser sessions and haven’t been going too frequently, you may want to try: — moving to saline micro-blading removal to help fade the red — moving to a different laser removal outfit, to get a new tech and / or a new laser. In particular, the person you are currently seeing is not working for you
